In September, my wife called me and said that she had come across a lost autistic boy (non-speaking), so I went out and gave assistance to the police.
I wanted to talk about the encounter, things we experienced, things we learned, things that law enforcement could do better.
And the story does have a happy ending because our daughter recognized the boy from school and he was reunited with his family.
