Frederic Mette is a documentary and street photographer whose journey began through traveling. His work in Bangladesh was emotionally intense and politically sensitive, as he documented an indigenous village and built trust with people who had never seen a camera before. In India, he continued this approach and spent six weeks capturing everyday life and powerful moments on the streets. New Zealand represents the other side of his work: meditative landscapes, stillness and adventure. His approach is rooted in curiosity and respect.
