On December 18, 1865, the 13th Amendment was adopted as part of the United States Constitution. The amendment officially abolished slavery, and immediately freed more than 100,000 enslaved people. National Slave Labor Day will be a day of rest to honor all slaves' economic contributions to this great nation.
What would it take for black economics to decide we had ENOUGH?
Taking a knee was a start but taking the money tree will pinch (sponsors). All black slave decedents take the same day off to show our value to "our" country.
It can not be us getting our buts kicked in the streets or profiled and harassed or undeveloped after destroying the black family... I guess we haven't had enough yet. When MLK and his generation had enough they demanded change. They stood up and boycotted to say we will not be ignored any longer.... enough. Boycott economically and demand to be treated equally. National Black labor day. For the slaves... all blacks take the same day off.
Sometimes we come at a cross roads in life and we have to make a decision... narrow road or broad road.
Christian gossip is one of those sins that sneaks up on you in your daily interactions with people. It is often subtle and appears to be harmless and yet many hurt feelings and broken relationships have been the result of the growing unchurched. Racism is a sin that roots itself in many hearts and comes from favoritism. James tells us that favoritism has no place in the Church and therefore no place in the heart of a believer in Christ.
We find in this one passage (and there are others), that God Almighty created all people no matter their color or race and has spread them out over the face of the Earth.
He did that on purpose.
