His turning point came during a lunch with a colleague who had transitioned to the mortgage industry and made almost $300,000 in his second year.
Jason was inspired by his friend and decided to pursue a career in the mortgage business. By April 2001, Jason had saved enough to quit his job and start his own mortgage company, marking the beginning of his entrepreneurial journey. He faced many challenges when he first started his business and realized he lacked practical knowledge. By the end of 2007 and during the financial crisis, Jason’s business faced severe financial difficulties leading to the eventual loss of his home and other assets. He shares the immense challenges he faced, including the humiliation of losing his possessions and the overwhelming sense of failure.
He still pushed forward trying to rebuild his life and career and eventually got mentorship and established himself in the credit repair industry.
