The will of God most of the time does not seem natural. The bible tells the story of a man who was in the belly of a fish due to his disobedience, Jesus spit healed a blind man, God used a persecutor to write 14 books of the bible and there is countless other accounts that remind us '"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways." In this episode, we discuss how God used two women; faith, consistency and kindness to demonstrate His power & love for His people.

It's summer time and nothing is better than eating some fresh fruit on a warm day. Maybe your choice of fruit is a nice flavorful watermelon, frozen grapes or a fruit salad. It's just something about fresh fruit! Fruit provide an excellent source of essential vitamins and minerals, and they are high in fiber. With all the benefits of natural fruit, spiritual fruit will produce an even greater source of godly characteristics.
The Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control and yet often times we forget the fruit we already possess.
In this episode, Candice reminds listeners how they can remember what God has freely given unto them and how not to get bamboozled by life distractions.

You may have heard the phrase "comparison is the thief of joy." President Theodore Roosevelt coined the phase and the thought was to evoke a powerful sentiment that could be life-changing. When one compares themself to others, it will often lead to feelings of inferiority or superiority— leading to unhappiness, low self-esteem, and depression. Frustration is another emotion that may rise up due to the thoughts of "not being good enough," or angry with others, which neither creates an emotionally healthy human being!
In this episode, Candice & L.A. share how they are navigating saying goodbye to comparison and learning to think differently about themselves and others.

Encapsulated in the roles, responsibility and purpose of wives, lies the calling them to RESPECT their husband. This trait is often learned over time (so if you are on the struggle bus, there is hope), because wives tend to demonstrate love more readily, yet struggle with respecting their husband, especially if he doesn't deserve it or has not done enough to earn it.
Wives are called to show their husband respect the same way they are called to show God respect. You may ask, "what does that look like?" Here's a verse to help you, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart" (Proverbs 3:5). Though, your husband isn't God, you can show your trust in God through your husband. By believing in God's calling on your husband life, and believing the gifts that God has given him, this will mean the world to him. Husbands needs respect.
Check out this episode to learn how you can grow in respecting your husband.

Back in the days when I was young I'm not a kid anymore, but some days I sit and wish I was a kid again. If you know the lyrics to the song go right on ahead and sang it! That song by Ahmad Lewis is a classic hit. Like so many of us, he knew adulting can be hard and for some overrated, however there is no we can go backwards like Benjamin Button.
In this episode, you can learn why Paul wrote, “…I put away childish things” in the “Love Chapter”, and why it’s so important to do especially when it relates to your husband.

If you can't see someone face, how much do really trust them? Building trust with someone requires vulnerability, transparency and intentionality to get to know them. God wants the same for us. He wants us to come with unveiled faces to get to know Him so we can gain understanding and revelation about who He is and to help us walk through life so we can reflect Him daily.
