As we near the end of the year, it’s easy to focus on the goals we didn’t meet or the dreams that haven’t yet come true. But what if we paused to witness what did happen? What if we looked at this year—and ourselves—through the eyes of love?
This episode is a recording of our Self-Gratitude Circle, a beautiful live gathering inside the Wild Wellness Women's Circle where we reflected not only on peak achievements but on persistence, resilience, and the subtle moments of growth that often go unnoticed.
Inside, we explore:
Why our brains fixate on our gaps—the distance between where we are now and where we want to be—instead of our gains—the distance between where we are now and where we used to be
How withholding praise from ourselves actually stunts real growth
What to do with the grief of unfulfilled goals
How to identify our Very Good Reasons for the things we did not do this year
Ways to honor the Intelligence behind resistance, pause, and rest
What it looks like to truly celebrate your inner Persistence
And a guided practice to uncover all the things you did this year that you forgot about
This circle isn’t just for listening—it’s for feeling, remembering, and honoring the fullness of your year.

Free Guide: How to Work With The Celtic Reed MoonIn this episode, I'm introducing you to the Celtic Lunar Tree Calendar. With 13 trees for 13 moons, it's rooted in earth- based animistic Celtic tradition that offers a slower, simpler, more ancestral rhythm than Western astrology.
After attuning to the Moon with Western astrology for many years, I still appreciate it, but I realized it's something my grandmothers would have had no concept of.
"What would my grandmothers have done?" is a question I find myself asking a lot lately, including how they would've attuned to the Moon and their Intuition.
If Western astrology feels overwhelming, rigid, flat, or disconnected, the Tree Calendar offers a return to ancestral knowing—one that honors your inner timing, the seasons of your life, and the natural intelligence of the earth.
You’ll hear how this ancient way of tracking time transformed my spiritual practice after a life-changing pilgrimage to the British Isles, how it connects with my maternal lineage (and maybe yours too!) and why it feels more grounding, intuitive, and emotionally resonant for me than following the constantly shifting zodiac.
I'll walk you month-by-month through what I've learned since starting to follow it in July: the teachings of the Holly, Hazel, Vine, and Ivy moons, while weaving in stories of my own and my clients'—including devotion in caregiving, intuition finding you when you haven’t found it, the loving art of concealment, and the myth of limitless resilience.
I'm also introducing the next lunar cycle that starts Nov 19—the Reed Moon (the Clarity Moon)—and explaining why Winter naturally brings sharper vision, deeper dreaming, and the perfect conditions for divination.
If you’ve been craving a spiritual path that feels simpler, slower, earth-rooted, and ancestral… you will love this episode.
Press play to hear:
What the Celtic Lunar Tree Calendar actually is and how it developed through Celtic animist worldview
Why I left Western astrology as my primary lunar practice, and how I still weave astrology in gently
How my British Isles pilgrimage awakened my connection to my maternal lineage
Why the tree calendar feels like “home”—and why it resonates so deeply for modern women
How Holly taught devotion through a powerful client story about caregiving
How Hazel revealed intuition through Celtic mythology and the question, “What if you don’t access your intuition—what if your intuition accesses you?”
How Vine teaches truth and timing, including the story of loving concealment
How Ivy teaches resilience through resourcing and relationship, especially with the Unseen world
Why winter clarity is real, both spiritually and scientifically
What the Reed Moon (the Clarity Moon) is all about as we enter this next lunar cycle
A peek at all the upcoming trees in the remaining months of the Celtic year
This episode is an invitation to reconnect with the rhythms our grandmothers lived by.
To follow these teachings month by month, I send out weekly emails in rhythm with the current tree’s lessons—all for free.
Join me by downloading the Free Guide: How to Work With The Celtic Reed Moon.
Emails referenced in this episode:
Holly Moon: Devotion + "Are you actually stuck, or are you devoted?"
Vine Moon: Truth + “Is it lying or is it loving?”
You don’t have to earn your Intuition. You don’t have to perform spirituality. And you definitely don’t have to be “consistent” to be Loved or Guided.
In this episode, we’re dismantling the myth that spiritual growth requires discipline—and exploring the deeper truth that while Love doesn’t require devotion, devotion magnifies Love.
You’ll hear me share how my own intuition practice evolved over time: from rigid daily routines and spiritual guilt to a fluid, Love-led rhythm that feels alive and sustainable. I’ll tell personal stories—from when I was a pastor working with postpartum moms, to moments in my women’s circle, to the way I now approach my own daily connection with Spirit.
If you’ve ever:
Felt guilty for “falling off” your practice or not being consistent enough
Longed to feel closer to your Intuition but didn’t know where to begin
Confused structure with intimacy or discipline with devotion
Needed permission to rest, pause, or reconnect in your own way
—then this episode will feel like a deep exhale.
You’ll walk away understanding:
The real difference between discipline and devotion
How to build a relationship with your Intuition that’s based on Love, not obligation
Why consistency doesn’t mean doing the same thing every day
How to recognize when Love is already speaking to you through ordinary life
How to release guilt and respond to the invitation of devotion when it arises
Whether you’re in a quiet winter of the soul or a season of blooming creativity, this conversation will remind you that Love hasn’t gone anywhere.
Love doesn’t need your discipline—but it delights in your attention.

Our circadian rhythms are all thrown off right now with Daylight Savings Time (not because of Nature but because of our silly illusions about time lol.)
I used to feel low like this all the time too, until I learned these tips I'm going to share.
There are some specific cues from our external environment that "train" our circadian rhythm: light, food, sleep, temperature, and location. Aren't our bodies are so brilliantly adaptive?!
Here's EXACTLY what to do this week (and actually, forevermore! You feel so much better when your circadian rhythm and therefore your hormones aren't f*cked up.)

Samhain is the third and final harvest festival in the Wheel of the Year and marks the midpoint between Autumn Equinox and Winter Solstice. It's a time to honor ancestors, recharge yourself after burnout from a busy harvest season, to imitate the wisdom of Nature & release what is dead or dying in our lives, & to prepare for rebirth and transformation.
Did you know?
Without any contact through space and time that we know of, the ancient Celts in Ireland and the ancient Aztecs in Mexico, along with other cultures through the world, have all believed that this midpoint between Autumn and Winter is a time when the veil between worlds is its thinnest and that ancestors and faeries can come pay us visits.
Even though the exact date is October 31, we can celebrate this whole season.

September 29 is Michaelmas, a day rooted in Celtic harvest traditions that was later woven into the Christian church calendar. As we move deeper into autumn, you might already intuitively and naturally feel the invitation to release, reflect, and reckon—spiritually, emotionally, even financially. That’s no coincidence. It was originally a pagan day used for settling debts, honoring harvest cycles, and marking seasonal transitions, but it became associated with the archangel Michael.

As we just crossed the Autumn Equinox, the point of equal darkness and light, Balance is calling to us.
But the way we are "sold" the concept of work/life balance is usually rooted in Fear, capitalism, "peak performance," biohacking, and all kinds of exhausting pieces of advice that aren't actually possible, sustainable, or enjoyable.
If work/life balance or the concept of balance in your life has been a struggle for you, dear God you’re not alone. I don’t think we have as much of a problem with balance in our lives.
The problem is with our understanding of balance and the permission we give ourselves to balance our lives.
Today I'm bringing you a completely NEW way to think about balance that will bring you so much FREEDOM.

Mabon marks the Autumn Equinox and the second harvest of the year in the Wheel of the Year. It’s a time when day and night are equal length, symbolizing balance and harmony. Referred to as the "Witches' Thanksgiving," it’s a time to give thanks for the harvest and the abundance in our lives. As the days grow shorter, we reflect on the year so far and prepare for the coming winter months.
Did you know? Mabon celebrates the story of Demeter, goddess of grain, agriculture, and fertility, and her daughter Persephone. When Hades abducts Persephone and forces her to marry him in the underworld, Demeter causes the Earth to go barren. Zeus negotiates with Hades to allow Persephone to be free for half the year, so Demeter only allows abundance on Earth half the year.Even though the exact date of the equinox is September 22, we can celebrate this whole season.

We are quickly approaching the Autumn Equinox, when we'll transition into the dark half of the year. I used to hate the darkness - literally and metaphorically. I especially dreaded Daylight Savings Time. I equated the darkness with depression, and from a spiritual perspective, I used to associate it with evil. On my rewilding journey, I've now come to see it much differently - as a blessing!
Darkness can be...

If the Earth were a Person, how would you describe what they are like, and how would you describe your relationship with them?
I was brought up in a religion that taught me that nature is something separate from us and subservient to us.
It’s alive in a sense, but definitely not conscious. I was taught that it’s impersonal, and it definitely didn’t have a soul or spirit.
It’s beautiful, sure, but it’s mainly a utility that exists to resource humans. It’s here to be the support system and backdrop to the most important existence of humans.
Basically, it’s inanimate.
But in the last couple of years, especially after my first psychedelic experience, I see things completely differently.
Throughout most of human history, human beings believed in animism, and it doesn’t contradict religion (or, it doesn’t have to.)
Animism is the belief that everything in Nature is alive and has a spirit or consciousness—not just humans and animals, but also trees, rivers, rocks, mountains, and even weather systems.
It’s one of the oldest belief systems in the world and is found in many Indigenous and earth-based traditions.
Animism teaches that the world is made up of relationships - that we’re in constant dialogue with the more-than-human world, and that everything is interconnected and deserving of respect.

Women literally have less time than anyone else. Here's how we reclaim it.
You’re not alone.
So many of us are feeling tired.
Burned out.
Behind.
Like there’s never enough time for what really matters.
But what if that’s not your fault?
What if the way we experience time has been shaped—and even stolen—by systems that were never made with our wellness in mind?
Ixchel Lunar is an Indigenous Time Ecologist known for their work in decolonizing Time.
They help people who are burned out, exhausted and tired of feeling like you never have enough time, like life is rapidly passing you by — to break free from the capitalist grind to realign your energy, reclaim your time and flow, and reconnect with your ancestors and land you call home.

The 5 ways time gets stolen, divided, outsourced, commodified, and foreclosed

Lammas, also known as Lughnasadh, is a festival celebrated on August 1st, marking the halfway point between Summer Solstice and Fall Equinox, and the first harvest of the year in the Wheel of the Year.
It's a time where Nature is modeling for us the themes of gratitude and abundance, harvest and reaping, transformation and sacrifice, community and sharing, and reflection and planning.
Did you know?
The word Lammas actually comes from the Old English "loaf mass." People baked a loaf of bread from their first harvest and brought it to the church to be blessed. This bread was believed to have healing and protective properties, so they placed it in the corners of their homes and barns for protection and blessing.
Even though the exact date is August 1, we can celebrate this whole season.
