Five members of the Nixon-Smiley High School Band auditioned Dec. 6 for the ATSSB All-Region Band, with two earning places. Stockdale Blue Bonnet Club talks water conservation
The Stockdale Blue Bonnet Club held its monthly meeting at the home of Sandy Lynn. The meeting on Nov. 10 was called to order at 4:35 p.m. Gina Deason conducted the meeting in the absence of the president and vice-president. Wise, Tomerlin earn Blue Bell/TSWA 3A All-State volleyball nods
Two Stockdale student-athletes have earned slots in the Blue Bell/Texas Sports Writers Association (TSWA) Class 3A All-State Volleyball Team for the 2025 season. Voting was conducted by TSWA members based on nominations from coaches and media members from around the state. Lady Brahma LeAnn Wise earned Second Team, outside hitter honors, while her teammate, Brianna Tomerlin, received an Honorable Mention nod as a middle blocker. The grandchildren of Annie Ehler Orts visited the St. Peter-St. Joseph Children’s Home — “St. PJ’s” — in San Antonio during the Christmas holiday.
