Each series will visit a handful of Aussie wine districts, meeting locals, visiting cellar doors, talking about the flagship wines and finding out what else to do there, including for the kids.
Sometimes there is a detour to explore wine regions abroad.
Pour yourself a glass, and come exploring with me.

(Season 9 Episode 7)
In Season 9 we are detouring from Australia and heading to France.
I am chatting with Artist, Caroline Jeppesen. In 2019 her husband and her took their 3 kids and lived in the seaside town of Argeles-sur-Mer in the South of France for 9 months. The kids went to school, and they hung out indulging in hobbies and some great rose wine.
She shares how she made this happen, the visa process, the great holidays they did from there and things to consider if you'd love to do the same (which is even easier if you don't have kids).
This is the last episode of this series.
You can find out more about her art at Instagram, TikTok and at Blue Thumb art: https://bluethumb.com.au/caroline-jeppesen

Episode 37 (Series 8 Episode 2) - Mornington Peninsula
The Mornington Peninsula is located about 1-2 hours drive south of Melbourne on Port Phillip Bay.
The flagship wines are Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, but it was also the first place to successfully produce Pinot Gris/Pinot Grigio in Australia by winemaker Kathleen Quealy.
A huge thank you to Kathleen Quealy, Quealy Wines for her time and expertise chatting with me.
