1. Flags are flying at half-staff in Wisconsin today to recognize the fourth anniversary of the Waukesha Christmas Parade tragedy. Six people were killed, dozens more were hurt, and spectators were shocked when Darrell Brooks Jr. drove his SUV into the parade. In a little more than two hours now, there’s a remembrance ceremony in Waukesha’s Grede Park. It starts at 4:39 PM, the exact time the Christmas parade attack began. The community will gather to honor the lives lost and support those who are still suffering. The ceremony also includes the dedication of the final sculpture in the park. 2. The FAA will give bonuses to air traffic controllers and technicians who had perfect attendance during the government shutdown. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy says 776 employees will get the 10-thosuand-dollar bonuses. 20-thousand other workers called out sick during the shutdown, because they couldn’t afford the gas to get to work or couldn’t afford childcare. President Trump has suggested controllers who missed work should have their pay docked, but the FAA hasn’t said anything about that.
