This is Bill Kelley. Please join me as we hear the word's of Solomon - who many people consider the wisest man who ever lived. We will go over the proverb of the day every day and I will pick a verse (or several) and expound on them. I am believing that, by hearing the wisdom of Solomon, we will become wiser and our lives will begin to improve - as we follow what the word tells us to do.

912. Luke, Chapter 24 (#2) - Jesus Himself drew near and went with them - November 5, 2025

Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 5. I will then key in on verse 19 - As a loving deer and a graceful doe, Let her breasts satisfy you at all times; And always be enraptured with her love. Friends, our wives are a gift from God. We should always take pleasure in her and be thankful to God for her. On today's podcast we will continue our study of the Gospel, according to Luke. Today we will be going over verses 13-27 of Chapter 24, entitled The Road to Emmaus. By the end of today's lesson there are three things I ask that you consider:

1. Jesus Himself drew near and went with them.

2. The disciples had hoped that it was Jesus who was going to redeem Israel.

3. Jesus used the title of Christ (the Messiah) to refer to Himself, while the disciples called Him merely a prophet.

Scriptures referenced on today's podcast:

Proverb 5:19; Luke 24:13-27; Matthew 18:20; Matthew 21:10-11; John 19:25; Acts 7:22

Call to Action - Do your wife's breasts satisfy you at all times? Are you always enraptured with her love? Friends, we should always be thankful for the wife that God has placed in our care.
