Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 13. I will then key in on verse 1 - A wise son heeds his father's instruction, But a scoffer does not listen to rebuke. Friends, we are to be open to (and consider) when people important to us correct us. On today's podcast we will be completing our study of the Gospel, according to Luke. Today we will be look at the Ascension (Chapter 24, verses 50-53), and the transition that Luke makes from the last chapter of Luke to the first chapter of the Book of Acts (which he was also the author of). By the end of today's lesson there are three things I ask that you consider:

1. Jesus was received up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God.

2. The disciples went out and preached everywhere.

3. You shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you.
