917. Titus - Chapter 1 - The truth of the Bible must be preached at all times - November 17, 2025

Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 17. I will then key in on verse 17 - A friend loves at all times, And a brother is born for adversity. Friends, it is very difficult to find good friends - someone who will stick with you in bad times, as well as good times. A good Christian brother (someone you can count on when you need real help, are even harder to find). On today's podcast I will begin a short one week study on the short book of Titus. It is written by the apostle Paul and is found near the end of the New Testament. Paul had begun several churches on the island of Crete to the Southeast of Greece and has given the responsibility of the overseeing of these churches to the young man Titus. Titus had been with Paul on two of his missionary journeys and Paul trusted him. By the end of today's lesson there are three things I ask that you consider:

1. Grace, mercy, and peace from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

2. To have an effective church, you have to have quality leadership.

3. The truth of the Bible must be preached at all times.
