931. Romans, Chapter 1 (#2) - I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ - December 18, 2025

Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 18. I will then key in on verse 16 - A man's gift makes room for him, And brings him before great men. Friends, if we are living a righteous life (always doing the right thing) and speaking the truth at all times people will notice that we are different (and they will speak well of us). Do not toot your own horn - boasting about how good you are and all the great things you have done. On today's podcast we will be continuing our study of the Book of Romans. We will be going over Chapter 1 (verses 16-20) and also go over an article explaining what salvation is and the benefits we have in our lives if we make the decision to be saved (by inviting Jesus to come into our heart). By the end of today's lesson there are three things I ask that you consider:

1. I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ.

2. The gospel is the power of God to salvation.

3. The wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men.
