34. Curses Don't Break Themselves: The Passover Lamb

Curses don't just break themselves - they require Blood. In this episode, we dive into Exodus 12 and the first Passover, when God gave Moses and Aaron detailed instructions to protect His people from the death angel.

God commanded every household to take a lamb without defect, care for it, and then sacrifice it. They were to put the blood on the top and sides of their doorframes - three places pointing to the cross.

This wasn't just a historical event - it was a prophetic picture of Jesus, the Passover Lamb, whose blood breaks every curse over our lives. Just like the Israelites had to apply the blood to their doorposts, we must apply the blood of Jesus to our lives through faith and obedience.

We explore what the Passover reveals about redemption, protection, and how curses are broken only by the blood of the Lamb.

Scripture References: 📖

  • Exodus 12:1-23

Topics Covered: 💡

  • The first Passover and God's deliverance 🩸
  • The significance of the blood on three doorposts ✝️
  • Jesus as our Passover Lamb 🐑

28. Hold on Let Me Ask: 1 Requirement to Asking God for Wisdom

James 1 :1-8 AMPC

1 James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes scattered abroad [among the Gentiles in the dispersion]: Greetings ([a]rejoice)!

2 Consider it wholly joyful, my brethren, whenever you are enveloped in or encounter trials of any sort or fall into various temptations.

3 Be assured and understand that the trial and proving of your faith bring out endurance and steadfastness and patience.

4 But let endurance and steadfastness and patience have full play and do a thorough work, so that you may be [people] perfectly and fully developed [with no defects], lacking in nothing.

5 If any of you is deficient in wisdom, let him ask of [b]the giving God [Who gives] to everyone liberally and ungrudgingly, without reproaching or faultfinding, and it will be given him.

6 Only it must be in faith that he asks with no wavering (no hesitating, no doubting). For the one who wavers (hesitates, doubts) is like the billowing surge out at sea that is blown hither and thither and tossed by the wind.

Until now you’ve not been bold enough to ask the Father for a single thing in my name, but now you can ask, and keep on asking him! And you can be sure that you’ll receive what you ask for, and your joy will have no limits!”
