Looking at multiple books like Matthew, Psalms and Hebrews, this episode focuses on what God wants from us when we approach him. Our attitude, mindset, and general reasoning behind coming to Him. What does approaching Him with a humble heart look like? Is one of many questions that can be answered by the texts we look at in this episode.
Last week, we looked at Sin from an entry level position (what it is, how does it relate to yahad). But honestly, this is one of the things that is so misunderstood about the Christian life, and causes so much pain and frustration. We had to take our time and say what we could about this big part of our walk with Jesus. This is not the only episode that we cover about sin, almost every episode we make can be related to sin.
Although this episode may be dawnting to some, our aim with this episode is to connect sin to yahad without any sort of condemnation or intentions of causing bad feelings about sin. Listen and see how we define sin in the context of yahad.
In part 2 we look at 1 John 3:1-9, a passage of scripture not commonly preached in church because of its ability to confuse those who don't understand the context. This episode may open your mind about who we truly are in Christ, listen and share if there is any wisdom you think must be heard by others from this episode.
.In this first part of a two part series, we lay a little foundation for us to tackle some challegning scripture about righteousness and identity in Christ. This will be unpacked in part 2, but for the sake of clarity we have decided to split this episode so this message is best recieved.
