As Black History Month begins, I would like to share many new books that have read that escapes the slave narrative of our culture and our history. I will focus on innovators educators as well as motivators. I want to show the rich and beautiful side of black history, and not just the side that is always told to us through slave depictions, I can’t wait for you to hear what I have in store.
