Young Black and Bookish:Thug Series part one
Welcome to this segment of Young, Black, and Bookish where I'll be discussing one of my favorite book series - the Thug series by Wahida Clark. The author, who has spent time behind bars, has done an excellent job of keeping her readers engaged in this series. Initially, each chapter was broken down by character, which made it easier for me to keep up with the story and remember all the details. However, as the series progressed, the author changed her approach, and stopped breaking down the chapters this way. Despite this, I still enjoyed the series. For this segment, I will introduce you to the main characters of the first two books in the series, so that you can get a feel for their personalities and what's going on in their daily lives.
