Un episodio que ha contrapuesto la estrategia de ataque de Ivar y el poderoso ejercito Rus de Oleg, con la de defensa de Bjorn con el incompleto ejercito del Rey Harald. Por fin se ha producido la excepcional batalla entre los dos bandos que ha dejado atrás la tragedia: con Harald violando a Ingrid por odio a Bjorn, con la pérdida del bebé no nato de Gunhild por el esfuerzo físico, y con las -aparentes- muertes de Harald y Bjorn.  Vestfold ha caído en las manos del invasor, y no será hasta finales de año que sabremos como continúa esta historia y si, finalmente, el dios cristiano ha derrotado a los dioses vikingos.
