I sit down with 2 really good friends of mine - Kemal and Mims. I’ve been saying to Kemal that I’ve wanted to do a podcast with him for the best part of a year. In that time I’ve met Mims and knowing how much banter there would be between the 3 of us, asked her to be on the episode too (plus her flat provided the perfect recording space for us - thanks Mims).

When I first started getting to know Kemal I knew I wanted to share the journey he went on. In this episode (after about 5 minutes of us trying to do ASMR) Kemal shares his story. He talks about what it was like going to one of the most prestigious stage schools in the country and working as a child actor. In this episode I sit down and talk with my incredible mum - Eileen Bradley. We talk about her upbringing and I struggle with dates which quite frankly is embarrassing which I make unnecessarily complicated. But moving on from that.. I’ve always been fascinated with my mum and dad’s early lives, especially post war. So I wanted to pick her brains.

I sit down with my good friend Jason Moore and his friend Markias LittleJohn. You may know Jason from my last episode and our other popular show "Don't Be So Dramatic". Jason is transformational speaker and mentor who has brought mindfulness to children all over the country through his Mindfulness club and workshops with Future Foundations.

Markias Little John is a therapist based out of California. I was introduced to Markias through Jason and was lucky enough to sit down with him whilst he was visiting the UK. 

In this episode we talk about how he became a therapist and the role he played within his large family.

There’s so many incredible words of wisdom in this podcast I found it so enlightening and learnt so much about the effect our upbringing can can have on us fundamentally as adults.

We also touch upon personality disorders and highlight misconceptions around them. We talk about narcissists and gaslighting and what to do if you want a relationship to change.

It’s been a while! Going to be going through podcasts I’ve recorded this year and finally editing and uploading them haha! Jason Moore is a very good friend of mine. In this episode we talk about letting go of the arts (and letting go in general) as well as Jason’s experience with mindfulness in children and the importance of well being. We ask the questions - why is mindfulness important to young children? How do you go about teaching mindfulness to children? Further from that - what is mindfulness?! We talk then talk about his work with future foundations and young adults. Lastly we talk about stripping away filters we have, the masks and being yourself.
