Disco F*cks!
You've probably heard the phrase "disco sucks!" thrown around when people start talking about disco or macho rock culture from the 70's. Disco is rooted in black and latinx culture and music, and was huge in gay nightclubs, so, the hatred of disco was wrapped up in racism and homophobia. This hour, I wanted to offer a shout out to disco new and old! Cause Disco F*cks!

Millennial Line!

The Federal Election is today, so here are 15 reasons to VOTE!

REASON 1 - YOU CAN - democracy is a precious right, and not something we should take for granted. Protests in China and Chile are examples of what the alternative looks like. Change is slow, and voting is not going to solve everything, no. BUT, it helps! It’s harm reduction!
REASON 2 - Pharmacare - people need meds and a lot of them are very expensive. If you don’t have coverage through work, a lot of people cant afford the prescriptions they need to live.
REASON 3 - Indigenous Land Sovereignty
REASON 4 - Climate Change
REASON 5 - Dental coverage
REASON 6 - Electoral Reform
REASON 7 - Having a PM who hasn't worn black/brown face, and doesn't prop up white supremacy

The youth are leading climate action globally, and right now all eyes are on Greta Thunberg following her address to UN climate action summit. Thunberg is right to centre Indigenous activists in the movement, as they have been raising these issues and mobilizing for years before the world was paying attention.

I also talk about Enby Party, a music label, festival, and collective by and for non-binary artists.
