In today's epsiode we talked about the recent shootings in Buffalo, NY and Uvalde, TX. These shootings were terrible events where 10 people were killed for the color of their skin and 19 children and others were killed during school time. These events outraged many people, and it is a calling for us to take action. That action is pretty clear compared to the reasonings to why these events happened. Is it because of jealousy, anger, etc. Most importantly, why do we have people who hate each other because of their skin color and why would God let this happen?

In today's episode, we talked about the NCAA Tournament Championship game consisting of North Carolina vs. Kansas, and UCONN vs. South Carolina. We went over how each player should take this loss and use it as a motivation to become an even better basketball player/leader. To handle this tough and emotional defeat, you need to first give credit to those that beat you and sit yourself down and understand what it is that you need to do to achieve greatness. This even goes to the winners, in which they could show great sportsmanship of a leader by giving their support to each player/coach before celebration. Overall, a leader would swallow the pain that they are facing and push themselves and their team to be even better.

In today's episode, we continued a conversation that we left off a couple episodes ago. For some reason y'all loved the topic of being yourself and why it is important, so today we talked about why it is dope. We first mentioned that some people are introverts and some are extroverts, and that there are people who would try to tell you to be different. They think that their ideas are always right and that they could never be wrong, but in reality that is wrong. As a human you do not have the right to tell others how to live because you would not want someone to tell you how to live your's. Then we talked about taking criticism and not listening to it. There are people out there who might tell you that you are not good enough and they could not be more wrong. You are good enough because you are yourself and being yourself is dope!

In today's episode we talked about the problem we all face in our life, which is not knowing what we want to do for a living. At the moment, I am going through this problem and it got me thinking about many things. I realized that we choose a job to fill a spot, and not pick a job where our skills and talents will be utilized to their fullest potential. By doing this and by picking a job where we are happy, we would thrive in work and in life. I also came to realize that life is going to be fine. There will be times when it may seem terrible and that God is not on your side. However, this more of a lesson for you to understand that the present is what is most important.

In today's episode we talked about sacrifices that we have to make on a daily basis in order to become successful. These sacrifices could be in business, whether that is investing or even in sports, where you have sacrifice time to become a better player, etc. Making a sacrifice may take a toll on relationships, but if you are invested in great people they would realize that you are making that sacrifice to improve yourself, and they would accept it. We also talked about sacrifices that we all have to make in the world that we live in at the moment. Where we have to realize that we need to start thinking about those around us, instead of just ourselves. Hopefully this episode makes you realize that your life has great potential and that in order to achieve what you want, you need to make some sacrifices!

In today's episode, we talked about the importance of being yourself. There are many scenarios in which being yourself is the best thing to do. They include going up to someone you have a crush on, or going up to a group of people that you would love to be friends with. When being yourself, you are showing honesty and the flaws that you have. All humans have flaws and that's what makes us human. On the other hand, being yourself could hold you back. Life is full of beautiful and terrible times, and the only way for you to grow is by getting out of comfort zone. Which means that you should not be yourself, but actually explore yourself. In the end, be yourself when the right situation is at hand because it will lead you down the right path.

Also here is a quote from Winston Bishop on New Girl that talks about being yourself!
Schmidt: You can’t go to the station like that! They’ll make fun of you.
Winston: When are you going to stop worrying about what people say? When I look into my suggestion box, it is full. [chuckles] People have a lot to say about the way I live my life, but there is only one comment card that I pay attention to. And you know what the card says? It says “Great job!” And “keep it up!” And you know who filled out that card? Me. You know how I know? Because I recognize my mother frickin’ handwritin’. [drops sweatshirt like he’s dropping the mic and walks away].”

In today's episode we talked about preparing for your finals, whether that is an exam or a presentation. The first thing you need to do is study and that is different for everybody, but find the way that best works for you. Second, you need to take the exam or get started on the presentation. Just do the work right away, because you would be able to focus on other classes in the future or have time to yourself. Also, if you are having problems do not be afraid to ask for help. Asking for help lets your professor know that you are serious about the class and that will be taken into consideration. Finally, there will be times of stress and do what is best for you. Take the day off if you are able to, go out with friends and have a good time, but after that get back to it. Overall, a grade does not define you, but the actions that you take after learning about that grade do.

In today's episode, we talked about the false narrative on what love is suppose to be. People say that love is suppose to be painful, and devastating. But, in reality love is not suppose to hurt. In the show Scandal, there was a scene where two characters were talking about their relationships status. In the scene the woman says that she does not want a good life, but a life full of painful love. The man then proceeds to say how love is not suppose to be that way, and leaves her speechless after he walks out the door. There is also another show called New Girl, where the girl Jess, was telling her roommate that she wants love that is painful even if it hurts more. The roommate also says that love is not suppose to be painful. So it leaves us with a question, is love suppose to hurt?

In today's episode we talked about the power of kindness. We first discussed what it means to be kind, and its basically a person who is loving and giving out of the goodness of their heart. By being a kind a person, you are able to change the world. For example, if someone new moved into your neighborhood, you could ask them what their name is and if they like living there. That one act of kindness, makes that person feel more comfortable and overall makes them happy. After this encounter, they are more likely to be nice to someone else, because they realized the great feeling that they received and want others to feel that as well. Overall, we should all be kind because it will change the world.

In today's episode, we went over the topics of professionalism, "look good, feel good", and astrology. I gave my opinion on all three and said why I believe that all of them is false information. How you dress and how you are write is not important, but making sure people understand you and getting the job done is. It will never be "look good, feel good", but it will always be "feel good, look good". Finally, astrology is just an excuse to back up your mistakes. It does not define who a person is, but the actions and thoughts of a person do.

In today's episode we talked about a recent failure of mine. I talked about how this failure affected me personally, and what I did to move on from it. The biggest thing about failure, is that it doesn't mean anything on the grand scheme of things, but its the actions that you take after your failure that mean everything. These actions define who you are as a person, and are a sign on if you are going to succeed the next time you give whatever action that is another shot. Overall, do not be scared to fail and do not be afraid to go out there and tell the world that you failed. Just go out there with your head up, and try again!

In today's episode we talked about how crazy life really is. This was an unscripted speech where we talked about how one little action could change your life forever. Just taking that action, could lead you down a life of prosperity and happiness. It's also crazy to realize that one day you could be a little kid, just having a good time with your friends, but all of a sudden you are an adult driving a car, who is going to college or work. Finally, it's just crazy to imagine that one word "hello" or a wave to a certain person, could form a liking or a relationship between two people.

In today's episode we talked about assessing one's strengths and weaknesses. A good leader is someone who realizes what their own strengths and weaknesses are as well as others. Even though you do have a weakness, you could eventually turn it into a strength through learning or practicing. Overall, the biggest strength is admitting that you have a weakness, and good leaders are willing to work at it. We also went into personal stories and talked about how I flip a switch in my mind and become someone called "Will", a man who is never going to give up.

In today's episode we talked about relationships in the workplace, friends, as well as significant others. We talked about how relationships in the workplace could go with coworkers as well as your boss, and how you should do a job that you love to do, with people that you love to work with. For friendships, it is key to understand that friends are suppose to be there for when you fall and vice versa. It may be tough to make friends depending on who you are as a person, but JUST GO OUT THERE AND MAKE FRIENDS. Finally, for significant others we found that it is okay to be alone sometimes, and that you shouldn't worry about if you are going to find someone.

In today's episode we talked about the importance of self-care. I first gave the dictionary definition and then went into a class that I am currently taking in college called Junior Seminar. In this class, we explore a certain topic throughout the semester and this semester's topic is one's health. This week, we were talking about self-care and the professor asked us a couple of questions for HW, and here are my answers. In the answers, I gave some back stories of me and current things that I am experiencing in my life. Hope y'all enjoy!
