Scott’s journey is a powerful picture of what masculine faith in action really looks like. To carrying his testimony on his skin through tattoos that spark conversations, to learning, through deep loss, that true spiritual strength is found in surrender. As a husband, father, and entrepreneur, Scott embraces the grind while rejecting the “lone wolf” mentality.
The KEYS to VICTORY inside this episode...
🎙 “God is my GPS, I manage the brake and the pedal.” -Scott
🎙God wants relationship, not religion, and that faith isn’t confined to a book or a building.
🎙He urges men to begin change with an internal inventory of how they spend time and energy, identifying inputs that don’t produce fruit.

Army veteran and gunsmith Stephen Copp (Valley Forge Weaponry) sits down with Luke to unpack what it really means to “protect and serve” as a civilian dad in today’s climate. They cover Stephen’s path from the military to the bench, the COVID gun-buying surge, and why first-time owners absolutely must prioritize training, storage, and scenario-based reps over gear. Luke shares his six-step self-protection framework, avoid, de-escalate, run, fight, improvise, and only then draw. Stephen adds practical layers on close-quarters realities, safe habits at home, and the mindset of a consistent protector rather than a provocateur.
The conversation widens to culture and fatherhood: why speaking up for the Second Amendment starts with using the First, how community training days (“Nobody Is Coming to Save You”) build competence and calm, and why many public safety problems trace back to broken homes and a lack of strong male role models. The pair challenge men to lead with love, show up for their families, and train responsibly, because the most “manly” outcome is getting home safe. CLEAR!

Chase Thacker, a leader whose passion for people supercharges everything from freight and shipping to family and faith. Chase recounts the rapid “Mission to Maui” response after the August 2023 Lahaina fires, mobilizing containers of water, generators, Starlinks, and medical supplies, showing what servant leadership looks like when the stakes are high. He traces his unexpected path into logistics, the customer-service roots that drive his work, and a bold family move to Houston to seize a new sales opportunity. Along the way, Chase unpacks building teams through love and loyalty, navigating acquisitions, and the simple mandate on his desk: leaders make leaders.
We also go deep on the man behind the metrics: habit stacking and morning activations on Camelback, a dramatic health reset through fasting, thoughtful guardrails around alcohol in a high-pressure industry, and a “travel-ready” fitness routine that needs zero equipment. Through the lens of Fathered by God (boy, cowboy, warrior, lover, king, sage), Chase identifies himself in the warrior season, pursuing excellence at work while protecting and serving at home. He shares practical fatherhood lessons, nurturing a strong will in his daughter and emotional intelligence in his son, and how presence in the small moments adds up to a legacy. Common men with uncommon passions: protect, serve, defend, preserve. This episode shows you how.

Welcome back! In this raw and unfiltered episode, Luke sits down with lifelong brother and guest Alex Herrera to uncover the real story behind the man he is today. From sneaking out at 14 for his first rock concert, to running the streets of Houston and Laredo, to surviving addiction, prison, and betrayal, Alex opens up about the chaos, the pain, and the grit that shaped him. This isn’t a highlight reel, it’s the hard truth about rebellion, consequences, and the moments that forged a fighter’s frame for life.
But this story isn’t just about the past, it’s about the powerful pivot into faith, fatherhood, entrepreneurship, and legacy. Luke and Alex explore how the scars of yesterday can become the foundation of who you are meant to be today. If you’ve ever felt stuck, lost, or unsure of how to create lasting change, this conversation will challenge you to stop running, face yourself, and step boldly into your next chapter. Don’t just listen, show up, don't quit... Like Alex, it's time to take action.

This week on the FATHERS of the FUTURE Podcast, Luke sits down with professional skydiver and former British Special Forces veteran Jules Ratcliff, who has completed over 2,100 jumps and served in combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. Jules shares his near-death experience for the very first time when a parachute malfunction in June 2024 ripped his leg off mid-air at 4,500 feet. Drawing on his military training, he applied a tourniquet on himself while free-falling, a decision that ultimately saved his life. After being placed in a medically induced coma for six weeks and enduring multiple surgeries, Jules takes us inside his fight to recover and the mindset shifts that carried him forward.
In this powerful conversation, Jules opens up about memory loss, the raw emotions of rehab, and the two guiding principles that helped him push through: every day is a step forward, and self-pity has no place in survival. His unwavering faith and gratitude thanking God for allowing his son to still have a father shine through his story of resilience. As Jules continues his long journey of recovery and major surgeries, we invite listeners to support his story and apply the same mindset in their own lives.

Matt Ryan's story, shared on the Fathers of the Future podcast, is a testament to the power of resilience and personal growth through life's challenges. As the first client of the host's coaching program, Matt's journey began with a seemingly perfect family life, captured in a video showcasing peak performance coaching. However, his world shifted dramatically with a divorce that blindsided him, forcing him to confront unaddressed patterns from his upbringing. Despite the emotional turmoil of leaving his home and navigating a prolonged divorce, Matt's commitment to his two sons, Cole and Breck, remained unwavering. His story inspires us to face adversity head-on, learning from setbacks and rebuilding with intention. By prioritizing presence, play, and connection with his boys, Matt transformed pain into purpose, proving that even in the face of unexpected challenges, we can rise stronger.
The podcast also highlights Matt's spiritual awakening, a pivotal shift that anchored his reinvention. Initially distant from faith, Matt found divine guidance through serendipitous moments, like discovering a coin inscribed with "With God, all things are possible" on the day of his grandmother’s funeral. This sparked a journey back to faith, which became the foundation for his life’s priorities—God and relationships over material success. Transitioning from a high-stress career in commercial real estate to a dynamic role in a small cybersecurity firm, Matt embraced a new professional identity that allowed authenticity and growth. His message to future generations is clear: a life well-lived is built on faith and meaningful connections, not just achievements. Matt’s evolution from heartbreak to hope inspires every listener to get back up, learn from life’s trials, and lead with love and purpose as fathers, partners, and men.

A Stoic wants to live well— and living well means dying well, too. A Stoic lives well through having a good character, and death is the final test of it. - Seneca
This very well could be the most meaningful podcast I've ever recorded. My conversation with Billy Aiton, a former client from CrossFit Scottsdale, was more than just a reminder that life is fragile. He shows us, shows me that every second counts.
This is coming from a man who's been given 60 days to live as of the recording of this episode. And as much as I don't want to see a friend leave this life to soon, the reality is he's facing his mortality.
But if you listen closely, you'll hear the will to live in every sentence he speaks. When he talks about his kids and how proud he is of them, you can't help but want to be like him.
To those who know Billy, I pray this episode encapsulates the man you love. I hope it inspires you to hear your dad, husband, brother, and friend speak and be so thankful for you. He loves you.
In my line of work, I get the privilege of meeting so many people who inspire and motivate the world. Billy may very well be at the top of the list.
Billy Aiton, I love you and am grateful I got this distinct opportunity to sit down with a friend and have a conversation far beyond us both. Let's keep Fighting, my brother!
We Love you, Billy…
The LaLanne last name is not just famous in the fitness world, but everywhere else too if you were around in 1951 to the 80s. We've probably all heard about Jack LaLanne, the health and exercise expert a.k.a the Godfather of fitness. The one member of his family that followed in his footsteps was his nephew, Chris LaLanne.
Chris was always into sports, but chose a different route with his competitive nature. He found success in bodybuilding and helping those he cares about get strong. He got a degree in Kinesiology from San Diego State and became a mastermind in fitness. Then, in 2006, he discovered CrossFit and never looked back.
One of the main things Chris teaches is how to be fit between the ears. He systematically walks his clients through changing their life by how they think. Once that's in motion, physical peace follows. A key ingredient to his program is fasting and letting the body heal. This IS a major part of the definition of being "physically fit."
Chris LaLanne's got an awesome presentation and can help you live your best life. He's been at it for 30 years and knows all the tricks on how to lead yourself. In this episode, let Chris' story help you start taking charge of your life. "Let's get you a custom plan to crush it mentally!"
