This episode is an intimate reflection on Micayla’s journey of praying to God for the courage to truly see herself.
The year began in silence — a silent retreat that opened the door to an intensive healing journey. What unfolded brought her back to the deepest lessons: feeling her feelings, praying to god for the courage to see herself, and learning how to express honestly.
At one point, Micayla could not recognize herself in the mirror. She could see a reflection, but couldn’t connect to the person looking back at her. The fear was overwhelming. She physically couldn’t bring herself to look — it became a psychological and emotional battle.
Through this healing portal, Micayla’s body finally felt safe enough to release what had been stored inside for so long. She believes God trusted her with this journey and saw strength in her even when she couldn’t see it herself.
Moving her body daily became a powerful unlock for stagnant emotions and a pathway back to self-expression. Giving her body space to feel and move helped emotions flow instead of staying trapped.
This episode is about surrender, courage, embodiment, and the sacred process of learning how to see and love yourself again.

In this episode, Micayla Jean talks about how we are going to change the narrative that "The Holidays are Chaotic" so that we can show up as the most grounded and least overstimulated versions of ourselves this holiday season.
First she talks about 5 ways your home might be over-stimulating your nervous system. Little things we might be overlooking because they have just become a part of our lives.
Once we have awareness of the ways our homes (which should be our sacred space!) could be creating over-stimulation, she talks about the different ways we can bring Life Force Energy into our homes, to ground us, and set us up for being less over-stimulated this holiday season.

She also shares with us her NEW OFFERING: tune in to find out how you can work together with Micayla IN PERSON!
the thing about relationships is that they are always maybe. they aren't promised. they are built off of continuous vulnerability. constantly pushing our edges of what is comfortable to continuously explore new levels of intimacy. with the same person. over and over again. it's always a maybe. because free will. anyone can leave. anyone can die. anyone can change this. relationships are built off of maddeningly courageous acts of trust and courage. relationships are a constant testament to our ability as humans to push our limits, walk in fear and love over and over again. they are a constant place of maybe, everyday, no matter how strong your commitment is. or theirs. it's a forever walk of maybe. and that is terrifying. and absolutely beautiful. I've hurt you and you've hurt me, and still I choose you. because love forever can outweigh fear. but it's this wild dance of two people playing a game of maybe.
what a delightfully unique human experience. full of pain, grief and finding ourselves more deeply, over and over again.

Almost 15 years ago a dark place brought me to newfound understandings of what I needed to do in order to find my roots, listen to my body and heart, lean into freedom, bliss and learning to listen to my intuition.
Language isn't really what allows us to communicate.
We are sure reliant on our sense and we can be very judgmental as beings, but we can all understand and connect with resonance.
When we replace curiosity with judgement we lean deeper into compassion.
What happens when we slow down? Are we more likely to call in the support we need next?
It can be really detrimental to our growth if we ditch humanity and try to do it all on our own.
The major themes I bring forward: How do we replace judgement with curiosity? And how will that serve the world?

How do we show up each day as our authentic, worthy, loving selves in a world where there seems to be a massive crevice that keeps people apart and creating division?
How do we find the courage to jump into the mysterious unknown and make a difference for the greater good of all?
How do we begin to re-member that we are here to be in community and love one another, while also staying true to who are?

In this episode Micayla Jean talks about 5 Uncommon Ways to Bring Peace into a Chaotic World.
What happens when we return to our body and when we come back to the present moment?
It's not our responsibility to change everybody else (we cannot!) - we have to start with ourselves, and see within our own bodies and lives where we are not living in peace. We must begin within our own hearts, and then, in patience and kindness, with an abundance of compassion for each other's unique journeys, we WILL inspire one another.

In this episode with Micayla Jean she outs some of her most challenging shadows and what it has meant for her this year to step into her edge a bit more when feeling uncomfortable being seen. She talks about how healing in community has been life-changing and life-giving and the importance of putting ourselves out there in the sun and with other people when we are having tough seasons can truly change the world. Community heals. In a world of so many eyeballs locked in on screens in can be seemingly hard to make friends and find intimate and meaningful community and relationships. In a world of botox, filters and reality TV it can be extremely painful to be with our imperfections when everything our eyes are seeing is seemingly perfection. (It's not). Reminder: everyone has shadows. It's how we become friends with them and how we allow the container of community to hold us in vulnerability and allow ourselves to be seen and see others that can truly change ourselves the world and beyond.
"If we want more peace, we must learn how to cultivate more peace not only within ourselves but within our most intimate relationships." - Micayla Jean
