The word "burgeon" refers to the beginning phase of growth, when something increases rapidly or when something flourishes. It is, therefore, no surprise that Matthew du Toit, the man behind Burgeon Financial, is passionate about helping small businesses in South Africa with their tax. Yes, we said TAX. In this week's informative episode the Five 2 Nine Team learn more about tax deductions, tax directives for freelancers, registering a business, and tax benefits for small businesses. Matthew was kind enough to share a lot of tips and tricks with us, and we can honestly say that TAX does not scare us that much as it did. Matthew is a new father who works from home and loves plants, his dog Indie, kite surfing (although he has a major fear of sharks), and sharing knowledge in order for others to burgeon as well. With tax season around the corner, we hope this episode will guide you and your Five 2 Nine hustle to flourish financially. Lekker luister!
