In this episode of Girl, You So Random, I have the pleasure oftalking with Chantell Black who represents Brooklyn with Caribbean roots. Her bold and descriptive performances have taken her across the country to Las Vegas, New Orleans, and New York City on shows like the nationally renownedCrack ‘Em Up Thursdays in the Belly Room at the Comedy Store in Hollywood and Don’t Tell Comedy, Utah where she blew up their comedy scene with her Seasoned Saturdays show, local open mics and at the nationally known Wiseguys Comedy Club. She recently relocated from Utah to Atlanta and is looking forward to getting into the local comedy scene and traveling around the east coast sharing her experiences.

Studying under the “Comedy Teacher’s Teacher,” Greg Dean, as well as the comedic legend and “King of Venice Beach,” Michael Colyar, D’Marie’s act can range from her family, to her relationship and slight addiction to Randy’s Doughnuts, all the way to exploring why men over 75 always seem to approach her - don’t ask.
