Life's Happening Devotional
IT WILL TAKE YOU!
It Will Take You! Today’s Scripture: Psalms 1:3 NIV God is not going to do it for us; it will take us to get the blessings and the things God promises. It is very clear in Scripture. Nothing happens in the kingdom or in our lives without us. God says he will favor us, but it still requires us, our participation, our getting up and doing the work. God's promises are not in isolation from our participation. He said: Deuteronomy 28:12 NIV The Lord will open the heavens, the storehouse of his bounty, to send rain on your land in season and to bless all the work of your hands. You will lend to many nations but will borrow from none. Let's not miss this, he is sending rain, he's opening the heavens, and storehouse of his bounty in season to bless all the WORK of your hands. The work of your hands means it will take your involvement. If there's no work of your hand then there is nothing for God to bless or rain down on because we haven't put the work in yet. Family, Believing is not just saying you trust or agree with something—it’s acting on that belief. Faith and work go hand in hand. Faith is trusting God, and works are the steps you take to show you trust Him. If you trust him you must get involved, and do the things required to get to that next level in your life. Here are a few examples from the Scriptures of Faith in Action: 1. Noah (Genesis 6:9-22) Noah believed God’s warning about the flood, but his faith was shown in action by building the ark according to God’s instructions, even when it didn’t make sense. 2. Abraham (Genesis 12:1-4) Abraham believed God’s promise to make him a great nation. His faith was active when he left his home, stepping into the unknown, and trusting God to guide him. 3. Moses (Exodus 14:15-16) When the Israelites faced the Red Sea, Moses believed God would deliver them, but he had to lift his staff and stretch his hand over the sea for it to part. 4. The Woman with the Issue of Blood (Mark 5:25-34) She believed Jesus could heal her, but her faith moved her to push through the crowd and touch the hem of His garment. 5. Peter Walking on Water (Matthew 14:28-31) Peter believed Jesus could enable him to walk on water, but it wasn’t until he stepped out of the boat that his faith became action. Without a shadow of a doubt, it will take you. Get involved and you will evolve and become that which God promises in your life. God bless you. Life's Happening Devotional
Results PREY
Today’s Scripture: Psalms 27:4 NIV One thing I ask from the Lord, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the Lord and to seek him in his temple. Focus: I pray for results, and if those results don't show up, I stop praying, instead of praying to God for God meaning that I pray from a place of love for God and to God. I pray for results. I'm a results prey. I've become a prey to results, I'm a victim to results. If the results never show up then I stop praying. My prayers are results based not relationship based. So, God has to perform for me to pray, God has to do a particular thing for me to pray and remain faithful in prayer. So my prayer life becomes conditional instead of a conviction. There's no conviction to pray because it is not relational it is conditional. When this happens we have become results prey, and God doesn't move because God wants to be first in our lives he's not trying to be our genie in a bottle that we rub 3 times and make a wish and results come based on what we asked for. He's too big for that. He wants a relationship, not a "result ship" we've become results prey. The enemy can have his way with us because we are inconsistent in our prayer life because God doesn't respond to results prayers he responds to relationship prayers. Point 1: Relationship vs Result-ship Matthew 6:33 (NIV) "But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." This verse emphasizes the priority of seeking God above all else. It reminds us that our focus should be on God’s kingdom and righteousness rather than the results or "things" we desire. The results come as a byproduct of our genuine pursuit of Him. Point 2: Conviction vs Conditional Psalm 27:4 (NIV) "One thing I ask from the Lord, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the Lord and to seek him in his temple." This verse highlights a heart posture of seeking God simply to enjoy His presence and beauty, not for any specific outcomes. It’s a great example of loving God for who He is. Point 3: Consistency vs Inconsistency Jeremiah 29:13 (NIV) "You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart." A reminder that wholehearted pursuit of God leads to finding Him, not just the results we want. Family, this is consistency. God is telling us that when it comes to seeking him we must remain consistent which is seeking him with all our hearts. This is where our treasure is, he wants to become our treasure. Inconsistency comes when we seek him for results and not for him. The Challenge Today is: We need to evaluate our prayer life—Are they result-focused or God-focused? Here are some questions: “When you pray, is your focus primarily on asking God for things you need or want?” “Do you feel frustrated or disappointed when your prayers don’t seem to ‘work’?” “How often do you pray simply to connect with God without an agenda?” Family, let's shift our prayers from being results-driven to being relationship-driven: Ultimately, the purpose of prayer is to connect with God, know Him more deeply, and align with His will. Life's Happening Devotional
God Sees You
Text: Genesis 16:13 NIV [13] She gave this name to the Lord who spoke to her: “You are the God who sees me,” for she said, “I have now seen the One who sees me.” Points: 1. God sees us even when things are dark When we are dealing with situations that are too hard to bear and just overwhelming And we think that God is not there Today he wants you to know that he sees you. Hagar was going through the wilderness, a storm, a situation that could take her out and would take her out but God saw her and because he saw her she acknowledge him as El Roi, that is " The God Who Sees". Today, I want you to know that God sees you in your wilderness of decisions, pain, suffering, stress, he sees you and he says to you today, I see you and I'm with you. You can trust me. I am God, the God who brought the children of Israel out of Egypt, turned water into wine, healed the blind, raised the dead man Lazarus, there's nothing too hard for me. I See You! It might be very dark right now in your life, but do you know that God see you in the dark? Yes he does. 2. God sees us when we can't see him There are times when our situations clouds our vision to the point where we can't see God. Have you ever experienced a situation where all you're seeing is just dark and cloudy, nothing seems to be clear in your life? In these moments we must trust God and rely on His Grace and Mercy. We must rely on his reputation, the thing she has done before in our lives. Remember when you had that car accident and almost died but the Lord saved you, even the emergency responders clips not believe that you were the one that was in the car! God sees you! You might not be able to see him because you are going through a difficult season of life, but God sees you. 3. God sees us when we feel alone and Afraid Hagar was afraid, and she felt all alone in the wilderness of decisions and darkness. She wondered and wondered does God see e, does he even care. If he does why am I dealing with this divorce, why am I dealing with this miscarriage,.why am I dealing with this cancer, why am I dealing with this sickness and depression. Life's Happening Devotional
Under Construction
Philippians 3:12 NIV Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. Let’s Look at 5 points that Take Place While we are Under Construction by God. 1. Change Change is hard. Construction can be uncomfortable, change is uncomfortable because we are creatures of routine, repetition, so when changes are introduced into our lives we get out of sorts because it disrupts our norm, the system that we've put in place. For example, construction on our route to work, a very familiar route can be very disruptive and uncomfortable for us. Why?...because it changes everything that is our norm, our routine. It can make us late for work and frustrate us because it doesn't lend itself to our norm. 2. Growing Growth never happens in stagnation or routine, it never happens where there's no disruption. Change is inevitable for growth. Most of us want to grow but do not want the disruption growth brings. Pregnant Mothers: Babies never enter this world without changes to the mother's life. They never come without disputing our norms and routines. As the baby grows within the mother's womb, the baby causes changes in the mother that are disruptive and painful at times. When we are under God's construction and development, it will be painful because it comes with changes and growth, and the two are interconnected. 3. Gaining Weight In your growth, you always gain weight. When God's developing us, we often get uncomfortable because again, like the pregnant mothers the baby is growing and developing within her and it causes her to gain weight. The weight gain is a sign that growth is taking place. It is a sign that you are being equipped to carry that which God has gifted you with and trusted you to do. 4. Grace Construction is disruptive but it's really God's mercy at work in our lives. The Bible says whom the Lord loves he corrects. Most of the time construction is always to improve and make better. God's construction in our lives is a sign of his grace and mercy towards us. Embrace his grace for the season of construction in your life. You are under construction and it is your development process to bring about your Greatness. Grace is the unmerited favor that strengthens us when we fall short. It’s God’s assurance that His power works best in our weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). 5. Guidance Construction comes with new signs, on the highway when there's construction, it always has lots of signs to guide us in the midst of the disruption. Sometimes they give us another route to take, sometimes they change the speed limit to a slower speed. Sometimes it says narrow lanes, or stay in your lane, it also says, detour and it gives you another route that you might not be familiar with. However, all of these signs are for us to get to where we were going in the first place. They are there to guide us. It's guidance. Construction is guidance, family. We are under construction. Our entire life is one big construction project for God. Embrace it and become all that God has created you to be. Please share this episode with someone else and be blessed. A CHRISTMAS MESS
Scripture: Luke 2:7 and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger because no guest room was available for them. But the first Christmas was also filled with doubt, relational conflict, danger, and grief — all under the sovereign watch of Father God. Yet these conditions make Jesus' arrival so hopeful and relatable. The blessing of the first Christmas wasn't in perfect circumstances — it was in God's kingdom! I would have expected everything to be nice and neat, and you would have too, this was Jesus! The Son of God being born into the world. I expected trumpets to be echoing loud angels flying all around and sweet music while Jesus was ushered into the world. But instead... He came into a messy situation, but this was intentional because if he had come the way I expected or imagined, we would have missed God's presence in our messy situations. Christmas includes stress and conflict for everybody. It can feel heavy as you process pain and loss. The pain of not being with family. The Loss of a loved one. Children are not able to come home for Christmas because they are deployed. Not having enough money to get the things you wanted or to give the type of gifts you wanted. Disappointed because you are alone for Christmas because family is far or left in another country. The List goes on and on... we are dealing with real messy situations, but the great thing here is that Jesus is not a stranger to this becuase for this cause he came into the world, yet when he came, he came into a mess. His coming wasn't perfection it was chaotic but nontheless he came. This shhould give us the confidence to know that even when Christmas get messy and become overwheling for us, we can lean on Jesus and take refuge and find hope in him. He came to bring us peace and joy, the bible says it was peace on earht and joy, he came in a mess yet there was peace and joy on earth because he came , he is our hope this Christmas. I encourage us to return our focus and our gaze on Jesus who came to be with us and to bring us hope, joy, and peace, glad tidings all around because he is our hope. Christmas should always remind us that Jesus is in our mess with us and give us hope for a future that is brighter and better, he is the light of the world and he is with us, Emanuel God with us. You are not alone, your mess is not new to Jesus, he is in it with you and he is never going to leave you not forsake you. Shake off the pain and enjoy your Christmas because after all it is about Jesus's birth, though messy brought us hope and eternal life. Please share this episode with someone else and be blessed. Getting honest about your experience with someone you trust and can open up to will help you open your heart to seek Jesus' healing, care, and comfort. This helps you shift your perspective off of yourself and focus on his presence and goodness in everything — even the hardships of the holidays and life. Remember that God is working all things for your good. Jesus was born in chaos, in imperfection. We cannot expect that because we are believers that life will be perfect, or that Christmas won't be a mess. But there's hope in our Christmas Mess ... why? because Jesus, Emanuel has come and he's God with us.

SOAR TODAY!!!

Shake off Anxiety/ Shake of Fear

While sitting and listening to a Podcast, I saw a bird and it was on the ground. But out of nowhere it just took off. It started flying, And in that moment I saw that the bird had no fear of flying. What then dropped in my spirit was that the bird was so free as I watched it fly. The bird 🐦 🕊️ was doing what it was designed to do: FLY!!! Effortlessly and free.

In that moment I realized that when we are in the space that God created us to be in we are FREE and we have no FEAR. What God designed you and I for is to SOAR like the EAGLES 🦅, but when we stay on the ground we stay in fear because it's not where He designed us to be (Isaiah 40:31).

We stay where people think we should be, we stay where we believe we should be. We stay in mediocrity and lack. We stay where we are not free, we stay in the low places. In other words, we are out of alignment based on the designer's original intent. What God designed you to be!

That bird was FREE and God made us to SOAR, but because we are still on the ground and FEAR has held us down we haven't soared to our Potential. We do not step into that space where we are most FREE.

Don't stay on the ground, take FLIGHT ✈️!!! And SOAR TODAY!!!

Take that first step 🪜 !!! and see that what you're afraid of you were actually designed to conquer and SOAR above. Shake off the ANXIETY, Shake of the FEAR! and SOAR TODAY !!!

Suffering: The Requirement For Upgrade

Romans: 8:16-18 16 The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children. 17 Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory. 18 I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. 1. Present Suffering: Paul acknowledges the reality of suffering in the Christian life. Earlier in Romans 8, he speaks about the challenges of living in a fallen world and the groaning of creation (Romans 8:22-23). This suffering can include persecution, trials, and the struggles of living for Christ in a sinful world. 2. Future Glory: Paul contrasts these sufferings with the "glory that will be revealed in us." This refers to the ultimate redemption and transformation believers will experience when Christ returns. It’s the hope of being fully united with God and transformed into His likeness. 3. Eternal Perspective: Paul encourages believers to adopt an eternal perspective. Though painful, the trials we endure now are temporary and pale compared to the eternal joy, the restoration, and the glory we will experience. God often uses suffering to prepare us, refine us, and position us for greater things. 1. Suffering as Preparation: Joseph, endured years of suffering before stepping into his role as Egypt's second-in-command. His suffering refined his character and prepared him for his future glory. 1. David: From Shepherd to King Suffering: David was anointed king as a young shepherd, but he didn’t step into his kingship immediately. Instead, he endured years of suffering, including being relentlessly pursued by King Saul, who wanted to kill him. David lived as a fugitive, hiding in caves and facing constant danger. Glory/Upgrade: Through this suffering, God shaped David into a man after His own heart (1 Samuel 13:14). The trials taught David dependence on God, humility, and trust. When he finally became king, he was not just a ruler but a shepherd-king, one who cared for God's people with wisdom and compassion. Here me, what is your trial teaching you, or better yet, what are you learning from your sufferings? They come to teach us something, I’m afraid that if we don’t learn the lesson we repeat the sufferings. Let us learn so that we can go to the next level and upgrade to better. Sometimes, God allows us to go through a "wilderness" season to refine us, grow our faith, and prepare us for greater responsibility and influence. You can influence people when you’ve been through something, not when you read about it. 2. Suffering as a Pathway to Glory: Jesus example. He endured the cross ("present suffering") for the joy set before Him (Hebrews 12:2). His resurrection brought glory not only to Himself but also to all who believe in Him.

Life's Happening Thanksgiving

Today is a day where we pause to reflect on the goodness of God, His faithfulness, and the many blessings He’s poured out in our lives. No matter where you are or what your circumstances may look like, I want to remind you of 1 Thessalonians 5:18, which says, 'In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.'
Thanksgiving is not just about what’s on the table but who we get to share it with and the God who provides for us every step of the way. I am so grateful for all of you—this amazing Life’s Happening Devotional family who has been part of this journey. Your support, prayers, and encouragement continue to inspire me to press on.
As you gather with loved ones today, take a moment to reflect on the “all things” in your life that God has been working together for your good, even those hard and challenging moments. Trust me, He is weaving a masterpiece!
From my family to yours, may your Thanksgiving be filled with love, laughter, and the peace of God that surpasses all understanding. And if this season finds you in a difficult place, I pray that the Lord's presence will fill your heart with hope and gratitude for His unfailing love.
Thank you for being a part of this journey with me. Until next time, remember: all things work together for good for those who love God and are called according to His purpose.
Happy Thanksgiving, and God bless!"

Life's Happening Devotional
The Message

My Response Is Rejoicing! #rejoice #jesus #podcast Scripture: Habakkuk 3:17-19 MAIN POINT: what's your response? Your response will determine your destiny, your future, and your Victory! My response is God you're worthy, my response is praise! I will always bless the Lord, and his praise shall continually be in my mouth! What's your response? My response is rejoicing! Reference Scriptures: Psalm 46:1-4 Philippians 4:4 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 James 1:2 Proverbs 17:22 Nehemiah 8:10 The book of Habakkuk is a dialogue between the prophet and God. Habakkuk begins by questioning God about the injustice and suffering he sees around him (Habakkuk 1). God responds by revealing His plans to use the Babylonians to bring judgment. While this response initially confuses Habakkuk, he eventually comes to trust in God's sovereignty. Modern Interpretation of the Symbols The Fig Tree: Represents personal accomplishments, opportunities, or sources of comfort that yield satisfaction. The Grapes on the Vine: Symbolize joy, abundance, and celebrations in life, such as milestones or achievements. The Olive Crop: Reflects long-term investments, steady growth, or things you’ve worked hard for, which are expected to bring security. The Fields Producing No Food: Represents career, business, or projects that fail to yield expected results. The Sheep and Cattle: Symbolize wealth, stability, and essential resources that sustain a livelihood. Modern Perspective: Why We Rejoice Even When Things Fail 1. God’s Sovereignty and Faithfulness Despite external failures, God's character and promises remain unchanged. He is still sovereign, and His plans are ultimately for our good. When we rejoice in Him, we shift our focus from temporary circumstances to His eternal nature. 2. Strength in the Lord Habakkuk says, "The Sovereign Lord is my strength; He makes my feet like the feet of a deer" (v. 19). This indicates that God provides the stability and ability to navigate tough terrain. Even in the face of loss or failure, He empowers us to keep going. ******************************* Please share this episode with someone else and be blessed. All Things Work Together for Good II

Today’s Scripture:

Romans 8:28

If you remember in our last episode or part one of All things work together for Good. I said that God sees all and knows all and when he is developing us and we experience storms or struggles he allows it because it draws us closer to him. So, there are times when God allows it to continue because now we are praying and seeking his face more than before.

You see, our trials and struggles, storms, and hardships all work together for good because it is orchestrated by God and he is in control. He is never surprised by the storms in our lives. Some things come into our lives that we cannot explain, loss of a loved one, sickness, and also financial stresses and I'm telling you that it's working together for good?!

These are the experiences that make us wonder how can God be good and how this will work for good. Can I be honest with you and transparent: Sometimes we have no explanation of the situation, only God can help us in some of these situations. I can't explain it or why. Only God can. You see, My life is inconsistent but God's word is consistent and it applies in all situations because he said all things not some things but all things work together for good.

It's not about my expected outcome but what does God want to work out in my life through this situation that I am dealing with? Is he trying to mature you?

Build your trust? make you into a greater version of yourself? God is doing something when things are going in the wrong direction for us.

The Bible says, "If you falter in a time of trouble, how small is your strength!" (Proverbs 24:10), another version says, "If you faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small". God in our different situations is building us up to have the stamina and the endurance to make it no matter what we face in life.

In other words, it's an I will get through this attitude that we need to have. When we say it's working for our good, we are saying we will get through this, somehow, some way God will come through. We know this because he's done it before. What do we need to endure these seasons of testing, storms, trials, and hardships? We need Strength. God's strength.

He says, "He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak." (Isaiah 40:29). He also says in verse 31, "Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. Family, you will get through this? But it won't be painless?

That situation in your marriage will not change instantly that chemotherapy session might not have been your last Did God promise you the absence of trouble and just happiness and joy in this lifetime, no, he never did. But what he does say to us is that all of the struggles, the pain, and the setbacks are working together for our good. Please share this episode with someone else and be blessed. Life's Happening Devotional
All Things Work Together For Good

Today’s Scripture:

Romans 8:28

Someone is saying, where is God in this my storm, my struggle, my sufferings? Where are you God. But God is saying it's working for your good.

But you with your wisdom and understanding is saying God how can this be working for my good?

There are things that comes into our lives that we cannot explain, loss of a loved one, sickness, and also financial stresses and I'm telling you that it's working together for good?!

These are the experiences that makes us wonder how can God be good and how does this work for good? Sometimes we have no explanation of the situation, only God can help us in some of these situations.

But if you can still praise God in these situations you have what it takes for the goodness of God to work in your life.

Life's Happening Devotional
Give God Something To Work With

Today’s Scripture:

James 2:17 (NIV)

"In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead."

This scripture highlights that faith must be accompanied by action. We need to step out in faith, giving God something to work with, rather than remaining inactive. Nothing happens until we give God something to work with. We think God is going to do it for us, but the truth is that we must participate and give him something to work with.

Here's the thing: We need to offer God what we have even if it seem small to us. In 2 Kings 4:2-3 (NIV): the Bible says, "Elisha replied to her, 'How can I help you? Tell me, what do you have in your house?' 'Your servant has nothing there at all,' she said, 'except a small jar of olive oil.' Elisha said, 'Go around and ask all your neighbors for empty jars. Don’t ask for just a few.'"

In This text, this widow only had so much, but she thought she had nothing, Elisha in essence, told her you must give God something to work with. This passage shows how God used the widow's small jar of oil to perform a miracle of provision. Even when we feel we have little to offer, God can work wonders when we present it to Him. The key is to give God something to work with, no matter how small it may be. What can you give God today that he could work with in your life?

I can attest to this in my life recently. I finally understood the faith without works , or Faith by itself, if not accompanied by action is dead! I recently completed and publish my first devotional book. It was not easy, let's be real it was hard. The process was no joke. But the results are beginning to show. But if I didn't give God something to work with, there would be no book and there would be no opportunity to be a blessing to others through this book which is something have always wanted to do.

There were no success in my life where faith and desire was concerned. It was was faith and action. The action part of faith is when we give God something to work with.

1. Imagine someone praying for a job or promotion, but they don't invest time in learning new skills or improving their current ones. By taking online courses, reading books related to their field, or seeking mentorship, they are giving God something to work with.

God might want you to go back to school but you don't think much of it, but that's where you give him something to work with and then later on you graduate and step into the field that you've always prayed about and dreamt about but it's not going to happen until you do your part by enrolling into college and getting to work.

*** It’s not about the size of what we give; it’s about our willingness to place it in God’s hands.***

***Therefore, Action paired with faith invites God's divine intervention***

Family, give him something to work with, I gave him my time, devotion, manuscript, and he made a way for me to produce a devotional book now available on Amazon. It's not that I was great at writing, but the little I had gave God something to work with, which resulted in others benefiting from it's content by God's grace.

I challenge you to give God something to work with, no matter what others are saying. Give it to God and He will bring about a miracle in your life.

Life's Happening Devotional
The Fire of God's Grace

Today’s Scripture:

1 Kings 18:38-39

Then the fire of the Lord fell and burned up the sacrifice, the wood, the stones and the soil, and also licked up the water in the trench. When all the people saw this, they fell prostrate and cried, “The Lord—he is God! The Lord—he is God!”

When the fire fell and the Lord answered by fire to Elijah he answered by the grace of his power. Which was represented in the things that the fire consumed. There were 5 things that the fire did. It burned up the sacrifice, the wood, the stones, the soil, and licked up the water! That's God's grace at work. The fire of God's Grace was evident and he showed grace to his servant Elijah.

God's grace always caused him to respond to his people because he is full of grace and mercy. We are building our prayer altars, the Lord moved after the things were structured, he responded by the fire of His grace. God wants to show grace to us. When he answered by fire the people confessed that the Lord he is God.

God is graceFUL, and he is merciFUL, it is who God is. When we repair our prayer altars, we get the results of a God who shows grace to us and mercy. As you begin to put things in place and seek God, God will answer by the Fire of His grace. Trust him and expect the fire of his grace to show up in your life.

Life's Happening Devotional
The Set Time

Today’s Scripture:

1 Kings 18:35-37

The water ran down around the altar and even filled the trench. At the time of sacrifice, the prophet Elijah stepped forward and prayed: “Lord, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Israel, let it be known today that you are God in Israel and that I am your servant and have done all these things at your command. Answer me, Lord, answer me, so these people will know that you, Lord, are God, and that you are turning their hearts back again.”

The Bible said at the time of sacrifice, which lets me know that there's a set time for sacrifice. We can miss a move of God when we do things haphazardly without order and we miss a great move of God. But this was not Elijah's case, he did the sacrifice at the time of sacrifice, guaranteeing the move of God.

There is a set time for Prayer and a set time for Sacrifice. Elijah did the sacrifice at the Set time, guaranteeing the move of God. The Set time means that’s when God deploys his angels to go to work on our behalf. Daniel prayed at a set time. If we miss this set time we miss the move of God. What is your set time of prayer? We must have set times when we read the word of God when we pray, when we meditate upon the word of God. We must pray and pray at a set time. Life’s happening, but we must never forget that God moves at the set time. Blessings.

Life's Happening Devotional
Invoking The Trinity

Today’s Scripture:

1 Kings 18:33-34

He arranged the wood, cut the bull into pieces and laid it on the wood. Then he said to them, “Fill four large jars with water and pour it on the offering and on the wood.” “Do it again,” he said, and they did it again. “Do it a third time,” he ordered, and they did it the third time.

Elijah invoked the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit by having them pour water upon the sacrifice. He was simply ensuring that the Trinity would be present to respond by fire because the Holy Spirit had to be present, and we know water represents the Holy Spirit in the scripture.

By the pouring of the water three times he was simply representing the presence of the Holy Spirit. He did this so that Father, Son, and Holy Spirit would be present. We must come before the Father through the Son in the Holy Spirit so that God can respond. Elijah poured the water upon the sacrifice three times so that it would be effective, guaranteeing that the Spirit of God would move.

Our Prayer Altars are being rebuilt and we must invoke the Trinity, all of God, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit is present. Our prayers are a sweet fragrance before God. We must invoke the Trinity. Family, don’t miss the order, you must acknowledge the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God will respond, we would love to hear from you this week. He longs to hear you and we know he will respond to you. Be Blessed.

Life's Happening Devotional
Invoking The Name of The Lord

Today’s Scripture:

1 Kings 18:32

With the stones he built an altar in the name of the Lord, and he dug a trench around it large enough to hold two seahs of seed.

Elijah didn't just invoke the word but he also invoked the name of the Lord. He knew that he needed the word, but he also knew that he needed the word of the Lord. We must always invoke the name of the Lord upon our prayers alatarts.

Without the name of the Lord, our prayer altars are ineffective. Our prayer altars must always have the name of the Lord upon them. His name is the seal that gives the authority for God to move and to do what we are asking him to do. His name must be upon our prayer altars so that the prayer altar can be effective.

You cannot have an effective prayer altar without invoking the name of the Lord. Don’t forget to invoke the name of the Lord when you pray, results will show up and chains will break. God bless you.

Life's Happening Devotional
Invoking The Word of The Lord

Today’s Scripture:

1 Kings 18:31NIV

Elijah took twelve stones, one for each of the tribes descended from Jacob, to whom the word of the Lord had come, saying, “Your name shall be Israel.”

Elijah remembered the word of the Lord and he invoked the word of the Lord. God responds to his word and he exalts his word above his name. So Elijah honored the word of God by invoking it upon his prayer altar. God’s word is integral to prayer, and we cannot build up our prayers altars without the Word of the Lord.

He decided to build the prayer altar based on what the word of the Lord says. God responds to his word and is obligated to respond to his word. If we speak God's word, God is obligated to respond. But altars without the word of the Lord are weak and your altar does not reflect anything that commands the move of God upon our lives.

Elijah honored the word of God by invoking it upon his prayer altar. When there are no results when we pray, it is missing the word of God upon our prayer altars. Use the word of God's family, pray it, and invoke it in your prayers and God respond. Without we have ineffective prayers and we live in weakness, peril, and lack. I encourage you to invoke the word of the Lord in your prayers and that will bring about results. God bless you.

Life's Happening Devotional
Repairing The Prayer Altar

Today’s Scripture:

1 Kings 18:30-39 NIV

Then Elijah said to all the people, “Come here to me.” They came to him, and he repaired the altar of the Lord, which had been torn down.

If we must hear from God in this season of our lives, we must repair our prayer altars, we must pray again like never before. We must repair the broken communication between us and our God and repair our prayer altars. Elijah knew something about God that he answered by fire based on his experience with God before making this challenge.

I believe a lot of our prayer altars are torn down. Elijah made it clear that the prayer altars of the Lord were torn down. That means people were not praying and seeking God. God is always listening to our prayers and he wants to hear from us. Elijah repaired the altar which was torn down. We cannot ignore our prayer altars.

When was the last time you prayed? When was the last time you said Lord I am not leaving here until I hear from you? The more we pray and seek God in our prayer closets that is how we build up our prayer altars. The systems of this world are always coming after us. It causes us to be distracted from praying. You must build, and repair your prayer altar by spending time before God in prayer. You cannot afford not to pray, it is where your power lies. Prayer is the key to your miracles.
