In this episode, we will talk about emotional codependency. How does this show up in your relationships? Do you think you were too over-responsible growing up as a child? Did you feel uncomfortable asking for your own needs? Did you get guilted for being disrespectful when you did not do what your parents wanted? Were you dismissed when you told your parents to stop doing something that hurt your feelings?
Emotional codependency often stems from childhood experiences where boundaries between the parent and child were blurred. Children who felt responsible for their parents' emotional states may grow into adults who struggle to differentiate their own needs from those of their parents. This can manifest as excessive caretaking, guilt over pursuing personal goals, or difficulty making decisions without parental approval.
Did you experience any disappointment lately with your family after the holidays? Do you feel disappointed with how your year turned out in 2023? Are you trying to figure out how to make this year better than last year? In this episode, join me as I dive into how to set realistic, specific, and achievable goals, create a clear plan, stay adaptable, and foster a positive and resilient mindset throughout the journey. Stay tuned for a challenge you can take on today to start changing your mindset.

In this episode, I invite Amy Wada the lead actress for the production play called “The Chinese Lady”. The play is about a forgotten Asian historical figure named Afong Moy - America’s First Chinese Woman. During her time in America, she became an unintentional cultural ambassador, offering Americans a glimpse into Chinese traditions, clothing, and customs. Her public appearances, dressed in traditional Chinese attire, fascinated and sometimes mystified American audiences, sparking interest in Chinese culture. Join me as I interview Amy on how she got involved with theater, her relationship with her cultural identity, and her experience starring in a production called “The Chinese Lady”.
In this episode, we are going to take a deeper dive into understanding the divine masculine and how to maintain sexual polarity. You may think that this episode is dedicated to men only but it also helps to know that the divine masculine and divine feminine work in tandem, in constant flux. When they're balanced, both within us and within the world, we're all much better off.
These energies can either complement each other or it can cause clashes in a relationship. When they clash, it’s usually because one person’s masculine energy overpowers the other person’s feminine energy. Divine Masculine has been suppressed for thousands of years by religions that have taught us to suppress our emotions, feelings, and intuition (all aspects of the feminine). This repression has created an imbalance between masculine and feminine energies in society as well as within ourselves.
For a relationship to truly work, it needs both love and passion. Sexual Polarity is the key to unlocking that passion.

In this episode, we are going to share with you my spiritual journey so far and how I keep building and strengthening my relationship with myself to live aligned with my highest self and my life’s purpose.
What is your highest self? It is a place of peace and contentment. It’s a place of calm and resilience. Your highest self is your connection to your unconscious. The higher self is the part of you that has not been wounded by judgments or prejudices. It does not view life through murky-colored filters tainted by past experiences. Nor is it a reflection of your wishes or expectations, although your higher self can assist you by clearing a pathway so you can attain your dreams faster or more easily.
This episode is for you if you have been finding conflicts with your religious beliefs and are looking for other resources and perspectives.

In this episode, we are going to talk about forgiveness and compassion for the inner critic. Our inner critics can sometimes be loud and relentless and serve us a purpose to keep us safe so the goal is not to eliminate the inner critic entirely but to change our relationship with it and lessen its power over us. Life circumstances, stress, and self-doubt can sometimes trigger their presence within us. So if you feel that you typically tear yourself apart when you or others fall short of your expectations, this episode is for you.

In this episode, I will cover 7 reasons why people overthink and 7 practices that you can try right away to use your intuition for decision-making. Overthinking can be common when you don’t trust yourself, and you find yourself stuck on taking action. It has a negative impact on one's mental well-being and decision-making abilities. Coming from an unpredictable performance-based household, I have been dealing with managing my anxiety all my life on my own without any help. On top of that, I struggled with being a perfectionist as a way to gain control of my life. I did not know that you can make decisions without thinking about all the worst-case scenarios as I thought that was the "right way". When fear is the sole driver of your decisions, it can hinder personal growth, limit opportunities, and lead to unfavorable outcomes. Intuition is a personal and unique inner compass. It takes practice and trust to develop and rely on your intuition for decision-making.

In honor of Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, I have challenged myself to be curious and learn about significant historical events and figures. In addition and learn more about different cultures within the Asian ethnicities other than East Asians. So today, there are 3 destinations and other key moments in Asian history that were either downplayed or our educators have left out the “ugly truth” of what really happened during those time periods. Why is this important to know? For centuries, the narrative has favored a certain group of people. Knowing your human rights and understanding what our ancestors have fought for keep us grounded, grateful, and rooted in the present day. Hope you enjoy and continue to celebrate your unique multicultural background!
