Chuck Nice is a stand-up comedian, longtime StarTalk co-host and one of the sharpest minds at the intersection of humour, science and culture. In this episode, he opens up about his week-long ayahuasca experience in Costa Rica, how it ended his depression, shifted his bipolar symptoms and forced him to confront the parts of himself he “absolutely abhorred”. We dive into ego death, the “beings between dimensions” he met, the cosmic perspective it gave him, and how the experience reshaped his views on faith, power, mental health and what it means to be human. This is one of the most honest and thought-provoking conversations we’ve ever recorded.

Introducing Chris Murch AKA Nigel Roxbury...
Chris Murch, better known as Nigel Roxbury, is a New York–based content creator and host who first gained traction with TikToks about NYC history and culture, later building the popular NYC History Hub account and launching the viral street-interview series Dumb Hot. Once deeply tied to the downtown nightlife scene, he’s been open about getting sober in 2024 and how it transformed his health, mindset, and creative output. Today he’s known for blending humour, storytelling, and cultural commentary, with an eye toward building a host-driven show that fuses Conan O’Brien–style comedy with Anthony Bourdain–style exploration.

Today I sit down with Campbell Walker — aka Struthless — illustrator, YouTuber and bestselling author of Your Head is a House Boat, and Doom and Bloom.
We explore why life can feel like doom in a world of abundance, how social media became an outrage machine, and why creativity is the antidote. Struthless also opens up about self-help, suicide, humor as a survival tool, and how to be creative even if you don’t think you are.
This is a raw, funny, and practical conversation on turning doom into bloom.
