Women's Seasons and Simplified Living with Jade Alexander
In todays episode, I am joined by the amazing Jade Alexander, for one of the most refreshing conversations I've had all year. As 2026 approaches, you might be feeling the hustle of the holidays, or pressure to hit the ground running in the new year. In this episode, we talk about a completely different approach: living seasonally, intuitively, and simply. We explore the internal seasons of a woman’s cycle and the seasons of life, and how honoring both helps create more ease in life, releases judgment and shame, and simplifies life over all. You will love this conversation if you are interested in slowing down, living more intuitively, and if you want a simple introduction to understand your internal cycle as a woman. You can connect with Jade on Instagram, and make sure to tune into her podcast, Simplify, as well! https://www.instagram.com/thesimplifypodcast?utm_source=ig_web_button_share_sheet&igsh=ZDNlZDc0MzIxNw== https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-simplify-podcast/id1761970390

Commitment Over Motivation
This episode is perfect for two different kinds of people. Maybe you're ready to get a head start on 2026 and want to actually stick to your goals and visions for the year. Or maybe you're feeling a lot of pressure. Like there's so much you should do or have to do... and being consistent with you goals doesn't feel very fun or doable anymore. In this episode, I break down why motivation is good, but it's not the thing that's gonna get you through the hard part. Instead, commitment will. I walk you through how to pick a compelling why to help you develop more commitment, so it's easier to stick to the things that matter most to you. I purposefully crafted this conversation as partially a wake up call that you don't need more motivation, but mostly as a reminder that it doesn't matter how much you do. What matters is who you are being, who you are becoming, and the deeper reason why it matters so much to you.  Thanks for listening! Want help figuring out your why? Send me a message on IG and I am happy to help :)  https://www.instagram.com/emilycheneycoaching/ Visit my website to set up a call to work together. https://emilycheneycoaching.com/

Better Problems, Having Fun, and Identity Shifts
In this episode, I share some off-the-cuff thoughts about what it means to grow, have fun, and stop getting caught up in the small stuff. I talk about “better problems,” the kind that come from having bigger goals and a clear vision, and how that focus helps keep perspective in both life and relationships. You’ll also hear about the importance of letting things be fun and easy instead of forced, and how identity shifts are simply a part of becoming the next version of yourself. It’s honest, lighthearted, and full of those reminders you didn’t know you needed. Connect with me on Instagram if you have an episode request! How to Say No Without Feeling like a Bad Person
Here’s the truth: saying no is hard for a lot of women because we tend to tie our worth to how much we do and how happy we can make everyone else. But if you are always trying to prove your worth by how much you do or by how other people perceive you... it will never be enough. In this episode, I break down the misconceptions that make saying no so hard, plus two pieces of advice that aren’t actually helping. Then I’ll share a list of practical ways and mindset shifts that make saying no easier, so you can protect your energy and focus on what actually matters most to you.  You'll find saying no isn't as black and white as it seems, and when you root yourself in your true identity and worth, knowing when to say no, or yes, gets a whole lot easier.  If you loved this episode, will you share it with a friend or on social media? Comfort and Capacity: You Were Made for More
We live in a world that makes it so easy to stay comfortable, and our brains are wired to chase comfort too. But if you want a big, bold, extraordinary life, you have to build your capacity for discomfort. In this episode, I share why seeking excessive comfort isn't serving you, how leaning into the hard actually expands what’s possible for you, and why the ability to handle stress, risk, and even failure is what separates an average good life from a life that feels alive, fulfilling, and extraordinary. You’ll hear real stories, practical examples, and a new way to look at discomfort. Because in the end, you were made for more than average. It's time to level up, lean in, and expand your capacity to hold the life you were designed for.
