The Kameron Show
Christmas Came Early (with Jennifer Bailey)

It's time for our special holiday episode, posted a little ahead of schedule. My guest is my sister, Jennifer, and together we spend the entire episode playing a festive SIP/SAVOR/SPILL game, where every question answered earns us one more ingredient for the Christmas cookies we’ve loved making since we were kids. Along the way, we cover everything from our fantasy pets to our pettiest moments, plus the lessons we’ve learned from the miscommunications that shaped us.

The whole thing feels soft and cozy, exactly the kind of holiday warmth we hope finds you wherever you’re listening. Happy holidays, from all of us at The Kameron Show!

The Kameron Show
Conchita y Esteban (with Miranda Clemenson)

This week’s guest is my friend Miranda Clemenson, who's one half of the music duo Yarrow. She's a local celebrity, and the only singing bartender I know who can pour a drink and hit a harmony at the same time. Miranda and I have drifted in and out of each other’s lives for more than twenty years, yet every time we sit down together it feels like we never missed a beat.

In this episode, we cover everything from setting boundaries with parents, to trans rights, to our coffee orders, to the fairy tales we like most. I’m not convinced I’ve ever laughed harder in a single recording. It’s chaotic, real, and exactly the kind of conversation I treasure.

The Kameron Show
To Feel is to Heal (with Cory Kilgore)

On this week’s episode, I sit down with my friend Cory Kilgore, whom I lovingly (and jokingly) call my dad. We’ve known each other for more than a decade, long past our days working in the same office, and he remains one of the calmest and kindest people in my life. Cory contains multitudes: he’s an Army veteran, a devoted volunteer, a member of a motorcycle club, and a man who somehow carries both grit and gentleness without contradiction.

For this conversation, he gives me full permission to ask anything I want… and I do. We talk about his time in the military, the difference between a bruised heart and a bruised ego, and even settle the very important matter of the best candy on Earth. It’s candid, generous, and funny—just like Cory.

The Kameron Show
Millennial Politics (with Tyler Quick)

On this week’s episode, I sit down for my very first real conversation with someone I’ve known at a distance for nearly fifteen years, Tyler Quick.

Tyler is my age, and he’s running for County Commissioner in Westminster—a fact that honestly blows me away. There’s something grounding about meeting a millennial who isn’t complaining about the system from the sidelines, but actually stepping into it with a plan, a backbone, and the skillset to make real local change.

We talk about it all: the strange identity of our generation, what leadership actually asks of a person, and the old mistakes we both seem to keep tripping over. Tyler is thoughtful, practical, and committed in that rare way that makes you want to sit up straighter. I’m grateful he came on the show, and I’m even more excited to support him as June’s primaries get closer.

The Kameron Show
The Grati-Tour (with Varinia Winters-Rodriguez)

This week, we're here a day early! I get to spend the day before Thanksgiving with someone who’s been in my life since we were awkward teenagers trying to make sense of the world: my friend Varinia Rodriguez—poet, writer, and the author of The Jellyfish Dream.

We sit down for a cozy holiday episode and play my a new Turkey Day game, Kameron’s Cute Little Thanksgiving Grati-tour, where we trade stories about the things we’re genuinely grateful for. I also read the section about Varinia from A Mural in Space, which somehow manages to be both sentimental and grounding at the same time—exactly the way our friendship has always worked. Then we shift into SIP/SAVOR/SPILL, answering questions about our most vapid takes, what we’d do if we suddenly had all the money in the world, and the things we used to think were dealbreakers in a partner… until life taught us better.

It’s warm, honest, funny in the right places, and exactly the kind of conversation that makes the holiday season feel like something worth celebrating.

The Kameron Show
Lukas Turns Five (with Jessica Moore)

For the fifth anniversary of my first book, Lukas with a K, I'm sitting down with someone who's been cheering me on for two decades: my friend Jessica Moore. Jessica was one of the first people to ever read 'Lukas,' and and one of the steady voices reminding me to keep creating, even when I doubted myself. It felt right, and almost inevitable, to have this reflection with her and look back on the book that started so much for me. We talk about the early days, what surprised her then versus now, and how our lives have shifted around the stories we’ve told.

We also play SIP/SAVOR/SPILL and dive into the fun stuff: our karaoke go-tos, the parts of ourselves we actually find lovable, and what kind of drunks we are.

It’s nostalgic, honest, and a reminder of why long friendships matter. This one feels like a celebration in more ways than one, and I think you’ll feel that too.

The Kameron Show
Another Six Cents (with Bekah Gallegos and Kelsey Arneson)

This week on the show, I’m joined by two of my favorite girlies to give advice that is equal parts practical and unhinged: Bekah Gallegos and Kelsey Arneson are here! Together, we tackle the real stuff, like rebuilding confidence after a setback, navigating public speaking without spiraling, and how to handle the delicate situation of… not liking your friend’s boyfriend.

We also play a round of SIP/SAVOR/SPILL that pushes us to get honest about what we’ve outgrown, heartbreaks that reshaped us, and which cartoon universe we’d happily disappear into. It’s warm, it’s chaotic, it’s funny, and, somehow, we actually land on real wisdom.

If you need the kind of advice that feels like laughing with your friends, this one's for you.

The Kameron Show
Buen Amigo (with David Blatt)

Today I’m sitting down with my friend David Blatt, who produces Colorado’s chapter of Mortified. You know… that stage show where brave adults read their most humiliating teenage writings out loud? (Yes, it’s as chaotic and delightful as it sounds.) David chased rock-star dreams in his twenties, found a whole new chapter through acupuncture, and somehow manages to be the calmest, and best-voiced, presence in any room.

We talk about acupuncture in a way that finally makes sense to me, including what it can do for anxiety, emotional regulation, and creativity. We also play SIP/SAVOR/SPILL, where David and I reveal our comfort shows, the musical dreams we never let die, and the day we’d each relive if we had the chance.

And don’t forget to check out Mortified! If you’re in Colorado, follow @mortified.colorado on Instagram, or search “Mortified Colorado” on Facebook to keep up.

The Kameron Show
A Golden Halloween (with Alex Mezzetti)

It’s a golden kind of Halloween on The Kameron Show because my guest is my friend (and yes, my ex-husband) Alex Mezzetti. He showed up as a golden retriever, I showed up as a black cat, and together we proved that sometimes opposites really do attract… at least for one spooky night.

We talk all things Halloween, from our favorite memories to our most questionable costume choices, and play two festive games: “Boo! or Bust!”, where we rate seasonal trends, and “Legend or Legendary?”, where we decide which spooky stories are true and which are total tricks. It’s playful, nostalgic, and just the right amount of chaotic.

The Kameron Show
Concrete Angel (with Maitri Jensen)

[Trigger warning: This episode includes discussion of childhood abuse and trauma.]

In this powerful episode, I sit down with my friend Maitri Jensen. Back when we went to school together, I didn’t know the level of abuse she was living through at home... until she suddenly disappeared. Years later, she’s not just surviving, but thriving. Now a social worker and creative, Maitri's turned her pain into purpose. We talk about our friendship, her tumultuous journey, and the joy she carries despite everything she’s endured. This is a story of resilience, light, and the strength it takes to grow through what (and who) tried to break you.

The Kameron Show
Girl Husband (with Mackenzie Proctor)

For our first episode back, I’m joined by my dear friend (and former roommate!) Mackenzie Proctor, whom I lovingly called my “girl husband” back in the day. We reminisce about our friendship’s origin story and the years we spent sharing space, laughter, and way too many late-night conversations.

Mackenzie is now a dietitian, so we go deep into the world of food—from Ozempic and body image to what healthy eating really means in 2025. I even read aloud part of my memoir, where I write about Mackenzie as the personification of spring: steady, bright, and full of renewal. It’s the perfect way to open a new season—with one of the people who has grounded and loved me most.

The Kameron Show
Full Circle (with Shala Fjetland)

In our first season finale, I’m joined by the woman who helped me find my voice in the first place, my high school English teacher turned lifelong friend, Shala Fjetland. She’s the reason I ever believed I could write at all, and now here we are, decades later, co-piloting a podcast episode that’s part reunion, part reflection, and all heart.

We talk about everything: how she became such a towering influence in my life, why she hasn’t (and won’t) read my memoir, how teaching has changed since the days of overhead projectors, and what our love languages say about us. But maybe most deep of all, we ask each other what truths we’ve been afraid to say out loud.

It’s honest, it’s funny, it’s full of nostalgia and insight. I wouldn’t be who I am without Fjetland, and there’s no better way to close this chapter of The Kameron Show than with the teacher who helped me get here.

The Kameron Show
Stay Soft (with Ryder Leo)

We’re almost at the end of our first season.

Can you believe??

Anyway, I couldn’t think of a better penultimate guest than my longtime friend, Ryder Leo. Ryder and I go way back—like, middle school back. In this episode, we look at how two queer kids from religious upbringings grew into fully-formed (and still-evolving) adults. We talk first crushes, faith and fallout, and the power of finding each other again after Ryder moved to Chicago. Ryder brings humor, heart, and a whole lot of clarity to the mic, and I’m so proud to share his light.

One message we both believe in? Stay soft.

The Kameron Show
Elder Millennial (with Chad Hinton)

In this episode, I sit down with the one and only Chad Hinton, who I lovingly refer to as my big sister. Chad has always been a compass for me, especially when it comes to figuring out the kind of friend, gay man, and human I want to be. He’s confident, hilarious, and carries his heart on his sleeve. We talk about his southern roots (yes, including the time he helped birth a cow), the hilarious fallout from giving himself a fake name, and some tender stuff, too—diving into conversations about grief, vulnerability, and what it really means to open up to the people who love you.

This episode is full of laughter, insight, and warmth. I’m so honored to share this conversation with someone who’s shaped me more than he knows.

Buckle Up (with Ben Schmitt)

In this episode, I’m joined by rollercoaster enthusiast and expert Ben Schmitt for a ride you won’t see coming. We take a deep dive into the surprising world of rollercoaster fandom — a community filled with more twists and turns than the rides themselves. From museum scams to murders, marriages, and tragic deaths, there’s so much more behind the scenes than I ever imagined. We also play SIP/SAVOR/SPILL, and both open up about loneliness, self-discovery, and certain unforgettable fashion choices.

On Becoming (with Jessie Chateau)

In this episode, I sit down with my friend Jessie Chateau—a fiercely empathetic, feminist, big-hearted woman who’s lived a life that defies any single label. We get real about the winding roads we’ve both traveled: from dating mishaps to sugar baby adventures, from profound grief to powerful boundary-setting with family. Jessie opens up about what it means to grow, to heal, and to keep seeing yourself—even when it’s hard. This conversation is full of laughter, honesty, and a reminder that becoming your best self is rarely a straight line.

Motor Mouths (with Davanta Greer)

In this week’s episode, I sit down with my dazzling friend Davanta Greer—a therapist, fashionista, socialite, and someone who lights up any room he walks into. This might just be one of the funniest episodes I’ve ever recorded, but it’s also one of the deepest.

Davanta and I open up about our complicated relationships with alcohol, our evolving family dynamics, and most importantly, how we’re learning to show up for ourselves. We reflect on the risks we’ve taken, the pride we carry, and the joy of forming new friendships in adulthood.

I loved every second of this conversation, and I’m so proud to share this blooming bond with all of you. You’re gonna laugh, you’re gonna think, and you’re gonna fall in love with Davanta—just like I have!

Meet Me in ABQ (with Molly Smith)

This week’s episode is a special crossover event! I’m joined by Molly Smith, host of the brilliant podcast Did That Age Well?, where she and her guests take a fresh look at films from the past and explore how they hold up today. Together, we dive into one of my all-time favorites: the 1944 classic Meet Me in St. Louis. We unpack its legacy, its mid-century charm, and what still resonates—or doesn’t—in today’s world.

But this episode isn’t just about the movie. Molly and I also get personal during a round of our signature game, SIP/SAVOR/SPILL. From childhood heroes to the parts of ourselves we’ve learned to embrace, to what we choose to share (or not share) with the world—we cover it all with humor, heart, and a little bit of nostalgia.

Sax in the City (with The Orchestrator)

In this episode, I sit down with my friend Brandon Theis (known onstage and in the studio as The Orchestrator) to talk about more than just the music. Brandon is a powerhouse: a gifted saxophonist, creative visionary, businessman, and devoted husband. We dive into the origin story of The Orchestrator, from the first spark of inspiration to the high-energy performances that have made him one of Denver’s most magnetic musical forces.

But this conversation goes beyond the stage. Brandon opens up about what’s been on his heart lately—not just in the ever-changing music industry, but in the world at large. We talk about identity, community, ambition, and the tension between creating art and sustaining a career. And Just Like That… (with Ryland Hansen)

I couldn’t help but wonder… When life steals your car—or your car steals your bullets—is it all for a scene-stealing story?

This week, I’m joined by one of my favorite gal pals, Ryland Hansen, for a Sex and the City-inspired chat to celebrate the new season of And Just Like That… on HBO Max. We talk about love, friendship, family, and the kind of pie-in-the-face moments that no one (not even Miranda!) could see coming. Ryland tells the jaw-dropping story of her stolen car, and I recount my own slightly disastrous foray into the world of bullet jewelry. (Spoiler: I will not be launching an Etsy shop.)
