Since its opening there has been countless suicides and murders; as well has being a base of operations for multiple serial killers such as Richard Ramirez(The Night Stalker) and is also the location of the bizarre death of Elisa Lam. He sent cyphers and letters to the media and police bragging about his crimes. All of this could be found in the book "Zodiac" by Robert Graysmith.
