Why I Don’t Fit Into One Spiritual Box - S2E21

Have you ever felt drawn to more than one spiritual or religious tradition, yet didn’t feel like you fully belonged to any single one? If so, you’re not alone.

In this episode of Unconditional Joy, I share why my spiritual path doesn’t fit neatly into one box, and how learning from many traditions has shaped my understanding, practice, and connection with God. Over time, I’ve found meaning, inspiration, and guidance in different teachings, stories, and practices, without feeling the need to label myself or choose just one path.

This episode is an invitation to reflect on your own journey and to question whether spirituality really needs to fit into fixed categories at all.

I’d love to hear your experience. Do you feel at home in one spiritual tradition, or do you feel drawn to many? Share your thoughts in the comments.

Why I Stopped Complicating My Spiritual Path

Over the years, I’ve learned that the spiritual path doesn’t need to be as complicated as we often make it. In fact, trying too hard, following rigid rules, or constantly consuming more information can sometimes pull us further away from what really matters.

In this episode of Unconditional Joy, I share how I realized I was overcomplicating my own spiritual work, and what helped me simplify it. I reflect on rigid routines, information overload, and the subtle ways the ego can turn spirituality into another project.

This is an invitation to pause, soften, and ask whether there’s a simpler way to relate to your own inner work.

I’d love to hear your thoughts. Do you feel like spirituality has become complicated for you, or has simplicity helped you grow?

I’m curious to hear from you.Have you ever felt like you were overcomplicating your spiritual path? What helped you simplify, or what are you feeling called to let go of right now?

Thank you for sharing your experience.

Not Everyone Has a Big Awakening (And That’s Okay)

There is no shortage of stories online about big awakenings, kundalini experiences, or dramatic spiritual breakthroughs. And while those experiences can be real and meaningful, they are not the only way spiritual growth happens.

In this episode of Unconditional Joy, I share why I’ve come to believe that awakening does not always arrive as one big moment. Sometimes it shows up quietly, in ordinary experiences that soften the heart, open compassion, or bring tears of connection.

If you’ve ever wondered whether you’re doing something wrong because you haven’t had a dramatic spiritual experience, this episode is an invitation to relax and trust your own path.

I share reflections from my own journey and explore how small, everyday moments can carry just as much depth and meaning.

I’d love to hear from you.Have your spiritual experiences been big and dramatic, or more quiet and ordinary? If you feel comfortable, share a moment that touched you deeply, even if it seemed small.

Thank you for being here and for sharing your journey.

Is God in Artificial Intelligence?

Is it possible to see God in something as modern and human made as artificial intelligence?

In this episode of Unconditional Joy, I share my perspective on God, consciousness, and creation, and explore where artificial intelligence might fit into that bigger picture. Rather than approaching this from a technical or fear based angle, I reflect on AI as a tool created by human intelligence and what that might mean spiritually.

This is not a debate about whether AI is good or bad, or whether it is conscious. It’s a gentle inquiry into how we understand God, creativity, and the tools we create, and whether anything can truly exist outside of the divine.

I’d love to hear your thoughts. Do you think artificial intelligence has any spiritual significance? Share your perspective in the comments.

Why I’m Learning to Build a Personal Relationship with God - S2E17

Lately I have been feeling drawn toward something that surprises even me: building a more personal relationship with God. For a long time, I connected with God as energy, presence, awareness, or life itself. But recently something softer and more intimate has started to open up inside me, almost like an invitation.

In this episode of Unconditional Joy, I share what has been shifting for me and why I am exploring a more personal connection with the divine, even while still believing in oneness. I talk about the moments and practices that are helping me feel closer to something greater, especially during times when I need comfort, guidance, or support.

If you feel connected to God in a personal way, or if you have ever wondered what that might look like, I would love to hear your experience in the comments.

My Zero Effort Ritual for Tough Days - S2E16

On the days when my mind is restless and my emotions feel heavy, I’ve often struggled to sit down and meditate. Over the years, I’ve tried every approach I could think of, yet some days the resistance is just too strong.

In this episode of Unconditional Joy, I talk about a simple ritual that has helped me find calm even when nothing in me wants to meditate. It asks almost nothing of me, yet it shifts my energy in a way I can feel immediately. Over time it has become something I naturally turn to, especially on the harder days.

If you’ve ever felt guilty for not meditating or felt stuck when your mind just won’t settle, this might offer a bit of comfort and a new perspective.

Let me know what helps you find peace when meditation feels out of reach.

How I Got Lost in Spiritual Rabbit Holes (and Found My Way Back) - S2E15

There was a point in my spiritual journey when I thought I was growing, but all I was really doing was collecting information. I went deep into topics like akashic records, sacred geometry, channeling, near death experiences, angels, and anything that felt mystical or exciting. It looked like progress, but it wasn’t actually moving me forward.

In this episode of Unconditional Joy, I talk about how I realized I was using spiritual knowledge as a distraction from the real work. The real work for me has been inner work — sitting with my emotions, unraveling old patterns, feeling what needs to be felt, and letting go of what my ego clings to.

Sometimes it’s easier to chase information than to face ourselves. I share what helped me shift, what I let go of, and how returning to practices like mindfulness, journaling, Kirtan, and emotional presence helped me reconnect with my path.

If you’ve ever found yourself going down spiritual rabbit holes and calling it growth, you’re not alone. Let me know if any part of this resonates with you.

Is Your Reality a Mirror of Your Inner World?-S2E14

What if the world around you is simply reflecting what’s happening within you? In this episode of Unconditional Joy, I explore the idea that our outer reality mirrors our inner world — that our beliefs, emotions, and mindset quietly shape the people, events, and experiences we attract.

When we shift our inner landscape from fear or doubt to gratitude and love, everything outside us begins to change too. Life starts to mirror that higher energy back.

Join me as I share reflections and examples of how changing your inner world can transform the outer one.

✨ Topics we’ll touch on:

How your thoughts and emotions influence your experiences

The energy you radiate and how life reflects it

Why gratitude and love can shift your reality

What’s one way your inner world has shaped your outer reality? Share your story in the comments — I’d love to hear it.

How Soul Contracts Can Help Us Grow - S2E13

Have you ever met someone who triggers you deeply — and wondered why? In this episode of Unconditional Joy, I explore the idea of soul contracts — the spiritual belief that before we’re born, our souls choose certain people and experiences to help us grow.

What if the challenges, heartbreaks, and conflicts in our lives aren’t random? What if they’re lessons we agreed to before we even arrived here?

Join me as I share how this perspective has helped me find compassion, healing, and meaning in the most difficult relationships.

✨ Let’s explore:

Why the people who trigger us can also be our greatest teachers

How pain can become a path to self-awareness

The beauty of seeing life from a soul-level perspective

The Reverse Golden Rule That Changes Everything - S2E12

We’ve all heard the Golden Rule: Treat others the way you want to be treated. But what about the reverse?

In this episode, I explore the Reverse Golden Rule — the simple but powerful idea of treating yourself with the same kindness, understanding, and compassion that you offer to others.

It’s about noticing how harshly we can speak to ourselves… and realizing that we’d never say those same things to a friend.

You’ll hear why self-compassion isn’t self-indulgence — it’s emotional honesty. And how practicing it can change the way you relate to failure, your inner critic, and even your spiritual growth.

If you’ve ever struggled with perfectionism, self-judgment, or feeling like you’re never enough — this episode is for you.

✨ Mentioned:Thich Nhat Hanh quote: “Your compassion is incomplete if it does not include yourself.”The Reverse Golden Rule — a principle of self-compassion

Why I Stopped Chasing Spiritual Knowledge - S2E11

We spend so much of our spiritual journey adding — more books, more retreats, more teachers. But what if true growth begins when we stop adding and start subtracting?

In this episode, I share how my path shifted from collecting knowledge to letting go of old conditioning, attachments, and beliefs that kept me from unconditional joy. Inspired by Alan Watts’ insight — “A scholar tries to learn something every day; a student of Buddhism tries to unlearn something every day” — I explore what it really means to grow through unlearning.

If you’ve been chasing spiritual knowledge and still feel stuck, this might be the missing piece.

Why Sadness Can Mean You’re Growing Spiritually - S2E10

Sometimes sadness isn’t a sign that you’re falling behind on your spiritual path — it’s a sign that something deep within you is healing.

In this episode, I open up about a recent phase of sadness that made me question my progress. I share how I learned that these low points aren’t failures; they’re part of the process. When old emotions rise to the surface, they’re coming up to be released — not to punish you, but to free you.

If you’ve ever felt like you were “doing the work” but still feeling heavy, this episode is for you. We’ll talk about surrender, emotional release, and what Michael Singer means when he says, “What was stored with pain comes out with pain.”

What if your stressful thoughts weren’t true?

In this episode, I share how Byron Katie’s book Loving What Is completely changed the way I see my mind, my emotions, and my suffering. Her method—called The Work—is a simple yet powerful process of questioning the thoughts that cause our pain.

How to Know If You’re Actually Growing Spiritually - S2E8

How do you actually measure spiritual growth? It’s not about how many books you’ve read or how often you meditate — it’s about how you respond when life tests you.

In this episode, I share a few personal stories that helped me see just how far I’ve come — moments that once would’ve ruined my whole day but now pass within seconds.

If you’ve ever wondered whether your inner work is really working, this conversation is for you.

The Movie Metaphor That Will Change Your Life - S2E7

Have you ever felt like someone completely misunderstood you? 🤔

In this episode, I share a life-changing metaphor from Don Miguel Ruiz’s The Four Agreements: imagine a giant mall filled with theaters, each one playing a different movie. In your theater, you’re the star. In your mom’s, your partner’s, your friend’s—they’re the stars, and you’re just a side character.

This simple but profound teaching reveals why we shouldn’t take things personally. When someone reacts to us, they aren’t responding to the “real” us, but to the version of us in their movie.

👉 Learn how this perspective can free you from taking things personally and bring more compassion into your relationships.

Have you ever felt like you’re living the wrong life — that maybe you weren’t meant to be here, in this exact situation, with these exact people?

In this episode, I share a deeply personal part of my journey — a time when I wished for a completely different life and believed I wasn’t meant to walk the path I was on. What helped me shift my perspective was a simple, yet profound truth: there are no errors in the divine plan.

Does your mind ever throw tantrums, repeat the same thoughts, or make you miserable with endless chatter? You’re not alone. In this episode, I share a powerful shift that’s helped me stop fighting my thoughts and start relating to my mind in a whole new way.

The Spiritual Practice No One Talks About - S2E4

Spirituality isn’t only about meditation, journaling, or healing emotions—it’s also about laughter, joy, and fun. In this episode, I share a story that reminded me of the simple but profound truth that being fully present often means letting go of seriousness and enjoying life.

It’s easy to get caught up in bills, responsibilities, and even the pressure to grow spiritually—but when we forget to laugh, we forget a core part of what it means to live fully.

This is your gentle reminder to lighten up, to smile at yourself, and to ask: Am I having enough fun in my life?

The Secret to Releasing Emotional Blockages - S2E3

What if the emotions you’re pushing away—fear, anger, jealousy, sadness—are actually the key to your freedom?

In this episode, I share the biggest shift I’ve experienced on my spiritual path: learning to welcome uncomfortable emotions instead of resisting them. By allowing them to pass through, I’ve found that their grip on me loosens, the blockages (samskaras) stored in the body begin to release, and life feels lighter and freer.

The Counterintuitive Secret to Handling Fear & Emotions - S2E2

Here is a PRACTICAL way in which I handle fear, anger, sadness, frustration, and other uncomfortable emotions.

Most of us push away uncomfortable emotions like fear, sadness, or anger. We distract ourselves, stay busy, scroll on our phones, or numb with food and habits. But here’s the counterintuitive truth: the more we resist, the more these emotions get stored and return even stronger.

In this episode, I share the practice that changed everything for me: allowing emotions to arise, feeling them in the body, and letting them pass through instead of fighting them. It’s simple, but not easy—and with practice, it transforms the way we experience fear and discomfort.

This isn’t about theory—it’s about a way of living where even fear loses its power.
