I dischi avevano due lati, una certa loro consistenza e un loro odore. Le copertine erano parte integrante della strategia di vendita. Le tracce si dovevano ascoltare una dopo l’altra: nessuna playlist fai da te e nessun effetto digitale. Poiché i brani sono protetti da copyright, la sfida del podcast è di ricreare le atmosfere degli album e delle città di cui si parla per mezzo di rumori, melodie popolari, riff e soundalike in grado di far assaporare all'ascoltatore quelle sonorità.
