Over de makers:
Bob Deen (1980) is Hoofd van de Clingendael Security unit en Coördinator van het Clingendael Rusland en Oost-Europa Centrum. Zijn onderzoek richt zich op internationale veiligheidskwesties, geopolitiek, multilaterale samenwerking en conflictoplossing, met bijzondere nadruk op Oost-Europa en de Kaukasus.
Koen Aartsma (1988) leidt het Strategic Foresight & Intelligence programma bij Instituut Clingendael. Als senior onderzoeker doet hij toekomstgericht onderzoek naar het veranderende wereldtoneel. In een vorig leven was Koen werkzaam als diplomaat en inlichtingenanalist.
Lauren Fabels (1993) is journalist en podcastmaker bij Corti Media. Naast Wereldupdate presenteert ze Veroordeeld, waarin ex-gedetineerden aan het woord komen. Ook was ze betrokken bij podcasts als Veldheren en Napleiten. Haar eerste stappen in de journalistiek zette ze achter de schermen bij talkshows Pauw en Op1.
