Fearful Symmetry: Kraven's Last Hunt is considered one of the greatest Spider-Man story arcs of all time. This was the first time Kraven has taken center stage and he left an everlasting mark. How do you prove you're better than the Spider? By killing him, buring him, and taking his place. This is a psychological story showing the symmetry between man and beast, and proving the line is more grey than you might think.
Collecting issues: Web of Spider-Man #31–32, The Amazing Spider-Man #293–294, and Peter Parker, the Spectacular Spider-Man #131–132

What heroes and villains from the greatest DC events will they run into, and what mysteries will they uncover along the way! Batman, Ego is a graphic novel that puts the Dark Knight in a very different light. After a mistake that cost the live of a crook and his innocent family, Bruce Wayne questions his purpose and considers stopping his crusade in Gotham. Suddenly a demonic version of Batman arrives and the two debate the validity of that very crusade. Is Batman doing everything he can, is he responsible for the villains and their victims, and ultimately does Bruce even have a choice or is his mind too fractured. The iconic art paired with the very human idea of introspection makes Ego a must read for any Batman fan.

When it comes to DC's greatest moments, the New 52 is rarely up there for most people. The main complaint I've always heard is "it through away the canon." which... is kind of true. But today's episode goes over the DC Universe Rebirth and how Geoff Johns not only restored the canon, but used a cult favorite, Dr. Manhattan, to make the New 52 an important part of the DC Metaverse.
We cover parts of:
What's better than one Spider-Man? All the Spider-Men! Or more accurately Spider-People. This episode goes through the first appearances and major moments of multiple radioactive Spider-themed heroes and what issues/stories to look out for!

In an alternate DC reality, Batman has a run in with the lord of vampires and ends up becoming one himself. Bruce must fight evil undead hordes while also fighting his own bloodlust. nd what becomes of his closest friends and enemies when evil finally does take over the bat? This comic is full of sex, blood, and full on violence. Definitely not for kids... enjoy!

Batman: Year One is an iconic staple in the Batman lore. It was the first time the audience gets to see the transition from Bruce Wayne, man with a mission to save his city, to Batman, the myth that invokes fear in the cowardly and superstitious. Along with that origin we see James Gordon move to Gotham and join a corrupt police station and Selina Kyle go from prostitute to infamous cat burglar. Not only is it a great story but the art does an amazing job conveying the dark and hard world our protagonists are doing their best to clean up day by day.

Batman, Zero Year is a very different, more savage, origin story for the dark knight. Bruce Wayne is pinned against Edward Nygma in a battle of wits for the lives of everyone in Gotham. The birth of Batman, and the death of an innocent boy named Bruce Wayne, has never had a story told as powerful as this before. Plus Batman rides a dirt bike and fights lions.

The Throne of Atlantis story line for Aquaman is one of his best. In a world where no one takes you serious, it's hard being a superhero. Doesn't matter if you're as strong as Superman, as smart as Batman, or have an exotic backstory like Wonder Woman. Aquaman has it rough. And things get a lot rougher when The Trench (piranha humanoids that feast on human flesh) show up. Or when Black Manta starts killing all of his friends. Or how about when his half brother Ocean Master kills millions in an all out war with the main land.... Yea, heavy is the head that wears the crown.

We all know the story: boy meets alien parasite, boy rejects alien parasite, alien parasite gets a jacked blond rebound to help kill the boy. A tale as old as time. But really, how did it happen. From Secret Wars #8 to Amazing Spider-Man #300, how did Eddie Brock get the suit. And why does the symbiote hate Peter Parker so much. Don't worry, you know I got you!
