What if discipline wasn’t about control — but care?
In this powerful conversation, Kaylee sits down with Master Sang Mee Ko, a sixth-degree black belt, martial arts school leader, and mom, to unpack what real strength looks like after motherhood. From running a family business to raising a confident child, Sang Mee shares how structure, empathy, and self-discipline can coexist — without burnout or rigidity.
This episode explores how motherhood reshapes leadership, why boundaries matter just as much as compassion, and how modeling self-respect teaches children more than words ever could. You’ll hear honest reflections on balancing legacy and family, redefining fitness and strength postpartum, and why “all or something” beats perfection every time.
If you’re a mom navigating exhaustion, leadership, or the pressure to do everything right, this conversation offers a grounded, reminder: balance is not stillness — it’s adjustment.
Reflection Question: Where could a little more structure bring you peace instead of pressure?

Breastfeeding is THE hardest thing I have EVER had to do in my life! I am so thankful to have exceeded my 18 month goal as we are now approaching 20 months strong! Please excuse me as I still have mom brain and I missed A LOT in part 1 but I made sure to touch upon it in this episode. Please leave any questions down below and I will be sure to address your questions in Part 3 of this series which will air when I officially finish nursing them. I encourage all mamas to at least attempt to nurse. I understand that there are circumstances that prevent mamas from nursing for as long as they hope but at least you try. Breastfeeding benefits your children immensely and I am glad I can be a success story to let you know that it is possible even with twins. Oh and get this, our pediatrician told us she had a mama with triplets who was successful as well!!! So if you are hoping to nurse I urge you to go for it! Yes it is hard but it is SOOOOO Temporary. Such a short time in the grand scheme of things.
