On the podcast today, I have the amazing Raimat Ali with me and she has instructed me to introduce her as the lady that likes to talk.
Honestly if I was to describe sis Raimat in brief, I would describe her as a down to earth soul who is on a journey to becoming a better servant of Allah. She’s not afraid of sharing her truth, her thoughts and experiences as much as she’s comfortable to the world in a way that can in shaa Allah be beneficial . She is isn’t scared of being vulnerable and I love that about her.
She’s embracing the journey of figuring this thing called life as she goes along and I couldn’t be more pleased for her. She loves talking about topics that could help women nurture themselves and grow . Personally I have learnt a lot from her, and I am pretty sure we can can learn a thing or two from our conversation.
Sit back and enjoy.
You can easily reach her @raimat.ali on Instagram.

Talks around self awareness is not new to this podcast because I strongly believe it is an essential tool in every human’s arsenal. It is a characteristic needed to live a wholesome life.
At least one study including that of Cornell University concluded that, “A high self-awareness score was the strongest predictor of overall success” Even though the process of self discovery is a life long process, it is one of the greatest gifts you can give yourself.
A question for you; if you were to describe yourself in one word or sentence right now, what would it be?
In this episode of the RWPodcast, I have Sofiat Peter popularly known as Safee Peter share her journey and experience with self awareness and how we can leverage it to live a life of growth. We also talk about spirituality and how to view ourselves from a holistic standpoint. It was a truly refreshing conversation which left me energized for days! Ma shaa Allah.
Tune in to catch the goodness of this episode!
N.B: this episode marks the last for Season 1 and the podcast will be taking a break till September 2022. I can’t wait to bring you more amazing conversations but in the mean time feel free to listen to previous episodes, like, share, subscribe and rate the podcast. Thank you! Xoxo

Success means different things to different people aka it is highly subjective . But there is a definition that holds true for everyone who is a believer in Allah; which is attaining Aljannah.
In this episode I speak about how to prioritise well-being for success; true success. I share my internalized learnings of core concepts from the book : Re-inventing the wheel: how top leaders leverage well-being for success by Meghan McNealy. This book is a great book and showed up at such perfect timing in my life. From the moment I saw it, I had such a strong pull to read it. It’s a new season and I believe this topic is so apt.
To live to the fullest, dreams need to be dreamt, plans need to be made, and action needs to happen! All these can only take place when our lives are assessed and designed to the best of our ability.
Basically, we do our part and allow Allah do his magic too!
A lovely resource for planning for the year is the year planner by @yearcompass on IG. It's free, and you can fill it digitally or print it. ABSOLUTELY LOVE LOVE IT!
