It was a pleasure and an honor to sit down with renowned NVC teacher and shame expert Liv Larsson.
In this heartfelt conversation, Liv explores the nature of shame—how universal it is, why it shows up, and how acceptance can transform our relationship with it.
She invites us to meet shame with curiosity rather than resistance, showing that acknowledging it can open the door to greater emotional health, authenticity, and personal growth.

In this powerful episode, I had the honor of sitting down with Steve March, founder of Aletheia Coaching, for a deep and multi-faceted exploration of lasting psychological transformation and true inner freedom.
Steve explains how memory reconsolidation—the neurological process activated within Aletheia Coaching—can dissolve limiting patterns. He also shares how psychedelics can support genuine self-discovery when used in a safe, skillfully guided setting.
We talk about what it really means to live from wholeness rather than fragmentation, and we touch on an exciting new direction Steve is unfolding: the art of ontological design.
Steve also explores why attunement is at the heart of meaningful coaching, how AI is reshaping both our inner and outer worlds, and why nonduality is far more practical than most people think. Together, we look at the personal and societal wound of separation—and how healing it opens the door to love, clarity, and compassion for ourselves and for future generations.

Can we be both disciplined and deeply compassionate with ourselves? What happens when discipline is rooted in care rather than pressure?
In this talk, I explore the seeming paradox of compassion and discipline, drawing on Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Nonviolent Communication (NVC). Through stories and reflections, we’ll explore how self-compassion and discipline can actually strengthen one another, leading to a more empowered and balanced life.

In several sessions and courses I've used the metaphor of watching ourselves as an organism in order to go beyond stories about deserving and punishment.
And in this session I want to share a way of looking that came to me today that is, I think, even more clear. And I offer it here as a way to cut through the perfectionist mind which can be sometimes overwhelming and paralyzing. I hope this is to your benefit.

Welcome to a brief yet deep download of how I see NVC, needs, and nonduality.
This talk is mostly meant for people already aware or who have received some training in Nonviolent Communication (NVC). Otherwise, it might be a little bit too far into the deep end.
What I wanted to talk about here is how I see that needs are actually connecting me to my own presence and that ultimately, they are a divine force, for lack of a better word. NVC is deeply rooted ultimately in the nondual, non-separate interconnectedness of our human hearts.

The title might be a bit of a giveaway here...
In this talk, I want to share an impression that's growing on me more and more these days, which is that, simply put, anger, resentment, hate, envy, bitterness--even though some part of us might sometimes enjoy these feelings and emotions--I believe that deep down, we always, if given a choice, would choose to be at peace, in harmony, in contentment, and in acceptance.
Weaving threads of Nonviolent Communication and Nonduality, I offer a suggestion as to what the deep reason for that preference might be. And yes, it has something to do with what I would call the truth of human love.

In this talk, I'm taking you through the core characteristics and consciousness of Nonviolent Communication (NVC).
Brought into the world by Marshall B. Rosenberg in his quest to answer where violence and alienation come from, NVC is an approach to human interaction that centers around clarity, honesty, and compassionate cooperation, and uses universal human needs as its pivotal starting point.
If you'd like to learn more about the practice, the attunement, the skills, and the awareness of NVC, have a look at my courses on InsightTimer--I'm also always happy to address any questions.
