33: Jess - Friendship Breakups & Growing Through Change in Your 20s

Let’s talk about the friendships that shape us, the ones that break our hearts, and the brave-ass decisions we make to live a life that’s actually ours.

In this raw and honest convo, I’m joined by Jess Diamond—mindset coach, podcast host, and certified Brave B*tch—who knows what it’s like to lose the people you thought would always be there… and then rebuild from that place. We get into the messy, beautiful chaos of friendships in your twenties, the ache of growing apart, and the courage it takes to start over—whether that’s in your career, your relationships, or your sense of self.

We don’t hold back.
We talk:

  • Friendship breakups that hurt worse than romantic ones

  • Building deep connections as an adult (yes, it’s possible!)

  • The risks and rewards of choosing vulnerability

  • Leaving the "shoulds" behind and building a life that lights you up

  • Why playing it safe is killing your joy—and how to stop

Jess keeps it real. And by the end, you might just text your best friend or finally let go of the one you’ve been white-knuckling. Either way, you’ll feel seen.

32: Leslie - Body Image, Trauma, & the Wellness Lies We’ve Been Sold

What if the weight loss you’re chasing isn’t really about your body at all?

In this raw and powerful episode, I sit down with life + health coach @leslieurbas to talk about what actually fuels our health goals—and the truth behind why so many of us spend years trying to shrink ourselves.

From wanting to be “that girl” in middle school to navigating body image after giving birth to a baby who wasn’t breathing, Leslie shares the pivotal moments that completely shifted how she sees her body, her worth, and her work.

We also talk about the behind-the-scenes challenges of raising bilingual kids in Spain, the power of persistence in personal growth, and how your nutrition plan should never be as generic as someone else’s mascara—or underwear. (Yep, we said it.)

This episode is about honoring your body, trusting your gut (literally), and letting go of the shame that never belonged to you in the first place.

31: Amy - Breaking Stigmas & The Humanity Behind “Taboo” Choices

What actually makes someone beautiful? Is it flawless skin and perfectly curled lashes—or is it the way someone looks at you when you’re being fully, unapologetically yourself?

In this powerful episode, I sat down with the brilliant, bold, and beautifully honest Amy Taylor to talk about beauty, love, sex, relationships, and the kinds of choices that make people squirm… or stare in awe.

Amy shares her story as a high-end companion, and we go deep into the realities of sex work, the societal judgments that come with it, and what it means to live authentically in a world that loves to put women in boxes. From infidelity to stigma, survival to empowerment, this is a conversation about what it means to be human—and brave—as hell.

We’re not here to sugarcoat. We’re here to shake sh*t up, challenge the narrative, and talk about connection, compassion, and the beauty that only blooms in truth.

✨ If you’ve ever questioned the rules about love, sex, beauty, or power… this one’s for you.

30: Jen - From Trauma to Transformation, Through Feeling All the Feels

I was not prepared for how deep this conversation was going to get. Jen Ginty, creator of Moody Monster, joined me on the pod, and we got real about emotional healing, trauma, and the messy, complicated feelings that make us human.Jen shared how Moody Monster started as a way to process her own emotions—and ended up becoming a powerful tool for helping kids (and adults) understand and express their feelings. We dive into shame vs. guilt, why emotions shouldn’t be ignored, and the identity crisis that can come with healing. We also talk about the power of community, storytelling, and even pets in emotional well-being. Plus, she dropped some serious wisdom about coping skills, inpatient care (it’s not a weakness!), and why embracing vulnerability makes us stronger.Oh, and don’t miss the rapid-fire questions at the end—she had some amazing answers.🎧 Listen to The Brave B*tches Podcast on Spotify & Apple Podcasts📩 Get my emails for updates & bold convos: hannahsolmarie.kit.com/join📸 Instagram → @hannahsolmarie | @bravebtches🌎 Website → hannahsolmarie.com🔗 Connect with Jen & Moody Monster:🌎 Website: MyMoodyMonster.com📺 YouTube: @MyMoodyMonster📸 Instagram: @MyMoodyMonster📖 Jen’s Recs:🎙️ Horror Heals Podcast📖 Witchcraft for Wayward Girls by Grady Hendrix🎶 Nine Inch Nails💬 Have you ever struggled with feeling too much? 29: Cynthia - The Power of Advocacy, Motherhood, and Storytelling

I was not ready for how emotional this conversation was going to get. Cynthia Changyit Levin came on the pod to talk about advocacy, and wow—her stories hit hard. She shares how she went from an everyday mom to a full-on changemaker, speaking up for maternal and child health, getting involved in policy, and proving that you don’t have to be an expert to make a real difference. We talk about the power of storytelling (she had me tearing up), why community is everything in activism, and how even the smallest action—an email, a phone call, a conversation—can spark real change. Cynthia’s passion is contagious, and this episode left me feeling so inspired (and, let’s be honest, a little weepy in the best way). We kick things off by exploring why vulnerability is such a game-changer in relationships—and yep, we even get into how it connects with sexual intimacy. We also get real about what it’s like to keep the passion alive in relationships, sharing some of our own stories and tips on spending quality time together and keeping communication open and honest. From there, we dive into a topic that hits close to home for both of us: leaving a community you feel safe in, and stepping into our individuality. It’s a raw and vulnerable conversation about letting go of long-held beliefs, navigating the loss of relationships and identity, and working through the anger that can come with it. We also touch on the importance of finding or building a supportive community and how somatic therapy has helped us reconnect with our bodies and heal. We delve into our thoughts on the age of “authentic” social media versus the always curated feeds, both the positives and negatives. She also shares her love for animals, especially advocating for rats as being the best little pets, and her dream to one day be a sanctuary for unwanted animals without a home. Clara shares what it's like living in Morocco; the challenges of learning Arabic, her favorite foods, and why she thinks it's important to be a conscious traveler. Clara also talks about her journey with Reiki and yoga, as well as her exploration of different spiritual practices, and her deep dive into the philosophy of yoga during a teacher training in France. 14: Special Episode with My Sisters, Christa & Cat - Childhoods, Healing, & Laughter
On this special episode, I get together with my two older sisters, Cat and Christa. We talk about our family dynamics, laugh about our childhood antics, and tease each other as only siblings can. I dive into some healing that happened between Cat and I in this past year and the aftermath that has led to a deeper, more intimate relationship. We each vulnerably share what it’s like to grow our sibling relationships into adult friendships, and how we have learned to communicate better. We share about the “roles” we all hold in our families, what it’s like to break outside the mold and the struggle of learning who we are outside of the need for perfection. Ultimately, this is a conversation between sisters - casual, open, silly, and a little chaotic. If you, or someone you know, has dealt with domestic abuse - Christa wants to remind you that you are not alone and to reach out. She recommends the Facebook group “Confusion to Clarity” for support, or to look up other support groups to connect and feel heard with others going through it too.
