Do you struggle with feeling discouraged after a setback? In this episode with mental performance coach Marco Trimboli, we dive deep into the difference between a growth mindset vs. fixed mindset. Learn how to adopt the right mindset to overcome failure or fear of failure and build your ideal life. What is a growth mindset? It is essentially how much one believes their abilities can be improved through effort. Knowing that we have the ability to improve is a crucial part of getting closer to achieving success.
This growth mindset definition and concept was coined by psychologist Carol Dweck and popularized in her book, Mindset: The New Psychology of Success.

Are you setting your intentions for the new year? We talk specifically about how to build unstoppable self-confidence and set yourself up for success. Marco and Nabiha both share personal experiences and struggles from their own lives in dealing with low confidence and self-esteem, and their ability to change their self-image and ultimately turn their lives around. As we share both sides, this episode is relevant for both confidence building in men and building confidence for women.
Confidence at its core begins with trusting and believing in yourself as well as your decisions. Our confidence level can impact all aspects of our lives- from work and business to sports, fitness, hobbies, and relationships. In peak performance, confidence is defined and measured by a person's level of self-confidence and assertiveness, specifically, how confident they are in their own abilities to take charge in a situation.
This is the 2nd collaborative episode with Brampton Venture Zone by TMU and mental performance coach Marco Trimboli.
Self-confidence is often a word overused in our society without a lot of people understanding what it means. We can see multiple quotes about confidence online and tell ourselves positive things, but true confidence building is a process that occurs with time- an equal effort between changing our beliefs and taking action towards our goals.
