Eps#5: Building High-Performance Culture with C.O.D.E
👉 Listen anywhere:https://pod.link/1528974087Hit play 👈   📍 Welcome back to the EG Success Mindset Podcast with your host, Ernest Gikuma. This space is designed for business owners, team leaders, and individuals who want to #CommunicateWithClarity, build real #SelfConfidence, and create high-performing #TeamCulture.Together, we explore the #CODEPersonalityFramework and the #C3Leadership Framework so you can unlock your potential and lead with purpose. Before we dive into today’s episode, take a moment to discover your CODE Personality Profile — it will help all the concepts come alive:👉 Start here: https://www.mycodeprofile.com/ 🔹 What This Episode Is About In the last episode, we explored how communication is the color of your confidence — the outward expression of your identity.Today, we go deeper into the third pillar of the C3 model: #Culture. Culture is not a slogan, a mission statement, or something written on a wall.Culture is created.Culture is repeated.Culture is lived. It is the accumulation of behaviors and beliefs — often passed down without question — that determine how people feel, work, think, and perform. Ernest unpacks how your: Identity (CODE personality) Beliefs (Mindset) Expression (Confidence + Communication) combine to shape the culture around you, whether thriving… or toxic. 🔹 Why Culture Matters (And Why Most Leaders Ignore It) Through powerful analogies — including lessons from a doctor who worked with space agencies and insights into cellular biology — Ernest explains: Why every personality type requires a specific environment to perform at their best Why misplaced people underperform (just like cells in the wrong biological environment) How Connectors, Organizers, Detail-Oriented individuals, and Effervescent personalities each thrive… or suffer Why one misaligned personality can weaken the entire team Why most workplace toxicity begins with leadership blind spots, not lack of skill If you don’t understand your team’s wiring…If you don’t understand your own wiring…You cannot create a culture where performance grows naturally. 🔹 Key Culture Insights You’ll Learn Culture is not built in meetings — it is built through small, meaningful, repeated behaviours Your #Mindset shapes the culture you allow, reward, tolerate, or correct People carry the same personality to work and home — you are leading whole human beings Reducing stress in the environment increases performance, clarity, and productivity A team in the wrong environment becomes frustrated, ignored, drained, or disengaged A team in the right environment becomes aligned, energised, and high-performing Ernest shares real examples of burnt-out Connectors, frustrated Organizers, overlooked Detail-Oriented individuals, and uninspired Effervescent personalities — and how aligning them with their CODE instantly transformed the culture. 🔹 Why This Matters for Leaders A negative environment cannot produce positive results — something even Albert Einstein agreed with.Your job as a leader, parent, teacher, manager, or coach is to: Understand your own CODE Understand the CODE of those you lead Shape an environment where every personality can thrive Model emotional intelligence, consistency, and clarity Reduce unnecessary conflict Build trust, alignment, and culture through daily actions Culture is not magic.Culture is not accidental.Culture is built. And it starts with you. 🚀 Next Steps  ✔️ 1. You’ll discover: Why confidence is identity expressed, and how your physiology reveals your inner beliefs How your CODE determines your natural communication style Connectors → warm, relational, story-driven Organizers → structured, orderly, step-by-step Detail-Oriented → precise, logical, factual Effervescent → energetic, big-picture, inspiring Why misunderstandings often come from personality mismatches, not personal conflict The powerful 7–38–55 rule: 7% words 38% tone of voice 55% body language How adjusting your tone, presence, and posture can completely change how people perceive you Why communication is the gateway between self-awareness and culture-building If you haven’t taken the personality assessment yet, pause the episode and do it here:👉 https://www.mycodeprofile.com/It will help you understand everything covered today. 🔹 Why This Matters for Leaders Effective communication isn’t about being loud, charismatic, or extroverted. It’s about alignment — where your identity, beliefs, and behaviour match the message you want to express. The Price of Success: Controlling Time and Destiny
The Price of Success: Controlling Time and Destiny Watch On YOUTUBE: https://youtu.be/OdhI3zMB-KE Success is a journey that demands sacrifices, commitment, and a strategic approach to managing time. Reflecting on one individual's experience, it becomes evident that the cost of success is indeed worth it, particularly when it allows a person to work for passion rather than money. This post delves into their journey, the lessons learned, and the principles that have guided them. The Cost of Success For five years, my guest didn't sleep for more than four hours a day. This was the price paid to establish initial success in properties. During this period, they chose jobs that allowed control over their time, working from 2:30 PM to 11:30 PM or sometimes until 1:00 AM, which gave the mornings for personal growth and business development. The core lesson here is that whoever controls your time controls your destiny. It's not about who controls your money but your time. Facing Rejection and Building Wealth In network marketing, while selling broadband and telephone services, my guest made an average of £450 a week in addition to their salary. Embracing rejection was key, understanding that out of every ten calls, at least one would result in a positive response. Over time, the conversion rate improved, but the key was perseverance and not fearing rejection. Diversifying Income Sources A critical aspect of financial stability and wealth creation is having multiple income sources. Smart believes in having at least four income streams. Job security alone does not lead to wealth; jobs provide enough to sustain and act as a seed for creating wealth. Wealth creation comes from owning assets that generate income, such as properties, stocks, or shares. The Importance of Credit and Financial Health In the Western world, a credit record is more critical than a job or career. A poor credit record can have severe consequences, such as losing job opportunities or being denied mortgages. Managing finances prudently and maintaining a good credit score is essential. Self-Evaluation and Mental Fitness Understanding one's strengths and weaknesses is vital. Focusing on strengths and outsourcing tasks that fall within weaknesses is important. Continuous learning is also crucial; reading books, seeking information, and staying informed are key. Avoiding distractions from social media and using time wisely, even during idle moments like waiting in traffic or at the doctor's office, is essential.   Conclusion Success requires dedication, strategic time management, and continuous growth. Controlling time, embracing rejection, diversifying income, and leveraging unique talents are crucial. Surrounding oneself with successful individuals, maintaining good financial health, and appreciating the journey are essential. By following these principles, one can achieve not only financial success but also a fulfilling and purposeful life. Unlocking Wealth: Leveraging Systems and Mindsets for Success
Unlocking Wealth: Leveraging Systems and Mindsets for Success Good afternoon, good evening, or good morning—wherever you may be! I hope this message finds you in great spirits after a wonderful weekend. If you're tuning in from the UK, what a week it has been! From a landslide election victory for the Labour Party and the celebration of our new Prime Minister to the excitement of the Three Lions making it to the semi-finals—it's been a remarkable time. Let's not forget the thrilling Grand Prix, where our British champion Lewis Hamilton took the lead, showcasing outstanding skill and professionalism.  These events have certainly energized me, and I hope they've done the same for you. But now, let's turn our focus to something more pertinent—continuing our insightful series on Vision, Responsibility, and Value. Revisiting Last Week's Insights... Last week, we kicked off with part one of our series, featuring a thought-provoking conversation with my friend Pastor Smart. The response has been overwhelming, with many reaching out to express their gratitude for the valuable insights shared. Pastor Smart, if you're reading this, a heartfelt thank you for your invaluable lessons and experiences.   Diving Deeper: Wealth Creation and Mindsets This week, we dive deeper into our discussions, where Pastor Smart expounds on his experiences and the wisdom he imparts to his mentees about wealth creation, mindsets, mentoring, and capacity building. My goal for you is simple: as you absorb this information, may it inspire growth and motivate you to implement some of the strategies shared. Should you have any questions or need clarity, feel free to reach out, and I will gladly assist or even consult Pastor Smart for further insights.   The Wealth Potential in Five Countries Pastor Smart introduces a fascinating concept: if you live in one of five countries—the United Kingdom, America, Australia, New Zealand, or Canada—and are between the ages of 21 and 41, becoming a multi-millionaire within 20 years is entirely within your reach. The systems in these countries are designed in such a way that, if understood and leveraged correctly, can create enormous wealth. Imagine the system as a powerful current in a river. Even if you're only capable of modest effort (let's say two strokes per second), if you align yourself with the current moving at five strokes per second, you will progress significantly faster. Conversely, fighting against the current, no matter how hard you try, will only push you backward.   Practical Application: Investing Minimum Wage Earnings Consider someone working a minimum-wage job at Tesco, earning £1,750 monthly. If this individual is young (around 20 or 21) and aligns with an organization like ours, we propose a 20-year plan. By setting aside £750 monthly and investing it in income-generating systems like the S&P 500 (which yielded 24% last year) or other reliable investment accounts, substantial wealth can be accumulated.    Building Wealth Through Strategic Investments Let’s break it down further: By investing £750 monthly in an account yielding an average of 10%, the cumulative interest over 20 years would result in a portfolio valued at approximately £24 million, with the equity surpassing £30 million. This demonstrates the power of understanding and leveraging the financial systems available.   The Importance of Mindset and Responsibility A crucial element of this journey is mindset. Success requires desire, responsibility, and the elimination of blame. It doesn't matter where you come from or your family’s financial history. In these five countries, with the right mindset and understanding of the system, wealth creation is possible.   Questioning the Value of University Education Pastor Smart challenges the traditional path of university education, suggesting that for many, apprenticeships offer a more practical and financially rewarding route. By learning a trade and earning while gaining experience, in

"The Seven Pillars of Fulfillment: A Journey to Holistic Success"
Welcome to the EG Success Mindset Podcast. I'm grateful you could join me today, whether you're new or a returning listener from platforms like YouTube, Spotify, iTunes, or Amazon. Your time is valued, and I appreciate your presence. In this podcast, we delve into personal development and transformation, offering insightful discussions, expert reviews, and book series reviews. Watch the Video Version Here: https://youtu.be/-2y-kUda9tE Today's episode focuses on a driving question in my life: why do we do what we do? Before diving into that, I want to share a personal story. On May 21st, I was in a car accident with my son. Despite demolishing a bus stop and our vehicle tumbling twice, we escaped with minor scratches by God's grace. This incident reinforced my commitment to share valuable information to impact lives positively.   In this episode, I'll discuss seven areas crucial for a fulfilled life. These include physical health, financial mastery, relationship enrichment, spiritual growth, emotional well-being, vocational fulfilment, and social connection. Balancing these areas is essential for a complete life. For example, nurturing your physical health is foundational, as we're spiritual beings having a physical experience.   Lastly, I'll share upcoming interviews with people who've succeeded in unique ways and are making significant changes locally and globally. Success is a journey of daily growth, not a destination. So, let's explore these seven life areas together. If you find the information useful, like, share, and comment on how you're implementing it in your life.   I'm from Kenya, and when I came to UK I used to tell my wife, I'm not a rabbit. I don't eat green vegetables. I eat refined food, i.e., meat and carbs. How ignorant I was, and I'm so glad that she never gave up on encouraging me to eat right. She introduced me to salads and supplements, and I think, wow, that was a God-sent lady.   Exercise. Are you taking physical exercise? Do you go for a walk? Are you stretching? Are you breathing right? What about rest? Do you sleep enough, or are you chasing money? Without sleep, rest, and nutrition, your body ages faster. Now, let's talk about emotional well-being. I've worked in mental health hospitals, and life can be challenging. Certain circumstances may overwhelm us, and sometimes it's not our fault.   Now, vocational fulfilment involves finding purpose in your work. Discover what you are created to do. Align your job with your unique gifts, because fulfilling work enriches life. Balancing professional success with personal fulfilment is crucial. Financial mastery is also vital. Align financial goals with personal values. Don’t outsource financial responsibility; take charge yourself. Learn to make, keep, and multiply money for growth and expansion.   Relationship enrichment involves effective communication, conflict resolution, and building trust. Improve relationships by starting with self-improvement. Social connections are crucial; build networks that work. Embrace diversity, empathy, and social responsibility. Lastly, spiritual growth is about connecting with the divine and inner wisdom. We are all spiritual beings, and cultivating mindfulness, gratitude, and inner peace is essential. Focus on all seven areas of life for balance, fulfilment, and success.   Life is a journey that every single one of us needs to engage in personally. So the seven areas of life is just to offer a holistic roadmap for personal development and empowerment. By nurturing each one of these seven areas, you can achieve balance, fulfilment and lasting success.   Until next time, thank you very much for watching. Like, subscribe and share. See you next time.

New Post-Covid Money Series... #10 Good Money Habits
#1) Earn IT!! WORK SMART:   How do you earn your living?   There are two ways to make an ethical living, you work and money works. Employ BOTH…   Money makes an EXCELLENT #servant and a Horrible Master!   If your only reason for working is money, you are trapped in a rat race. Exiting the 'rat race' will require a shift in #Mindset… from working for money to working to provide value and rewarded with money among other benefits. If you find yourself with more month than money, to is a sign you need to re-evaluate your priorities. A change of heart and mind [#repentance] is necessary for this to happen. To win the #Money Game, you'll need a side #hustle… that is another money topic for another day.   #Parenting Tip! If you have children, train them the value of hard work. #Chores are a great way to start, and it also increases the probability that they will take care of their #environment better in your absence.   #Work! Work is not a dirty word. You and I were created to create. This is all work.   #Affirmation:   I love my work and I am well compensated for the value I bring to the marketplace.

Law of Vibration & Attraction Quote of the day: “This may surprise or even shock you, but you have the God-given power to make up and create in your mind whatever good you desire.”  Rev. Ike   Using the Law of Attraction is a 4-step process: seek, ask, believe and receive. Let’s go into detail on each aspect. Seek: to try and get or find something especially something that is not physical (Camb. Dicti.) investigate, search, aspire, look around for, fish for, ransack for, ask, strive for, root out, probe and look for… in other wards, desire inspires seeking. What is your hearts desire? Ask: to put a question to someone, or to request an answer from someone. Synonyms: inquire, interrogate, query, and question Believe: Accept that (something) is true, especially without proof (Oxford Dic). To accept something as true, genuine, or real, to have a firm conviction as to the goodness, efficacy, or ability of something (M.Webstar dic). To have faith, be confident, think, be convinced, accept, conclude, affirm, be certain, feel sure, conceive and postulate Receive: to get or be given something: acquire, collect, inherit, obtain, accommodate, greet with open arms, intussusception, secure, take possession of. Let's look a little deeper... ----more---- 1. Seeking Seeking is the conscious  effort to get to God through the natural means (mental or physical) — to constantly set our minds toward God in all our desires, experiences; to direct our minds and hearts toward him through the means of his revelation that comes to us as we seek Him.  Mat 6:33 "But first and most importantly seek (aim at, strive after) His kingdom and His righteousness [His way of doing and being right—the attitude and character of God], and all these things will be given to you also." What or Who are you looking for?  Amos 5:14: Seek (long for, require) good and not evil, that you may live; And so may the Lord God of hosts be with you, Just as you have said! How do you seek? Jere 29:13 Amp Then [with a deep longing] you will seek Me and require Me [as a vital necessity] and [you will] find Me when you search for Me with all your heart. Mat 7:7-8 "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 8For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.” Can you see why your goal is coming to you? 2. Ask: To put a question to someone, or to request an answer from someone. Synonyms: inquire, interrogate, query, and question. Are you wishing or asking? Observe how a child asks, they have a sense of certainty they will receive. Why do we as adults wish more than ask? Who has poisoned our thinking? Who are you asking? If you doubt the existence of God, can you really ask Him? If you don’t think or believe He loves and cares for you, can you really receive from Him?  Isaiah 65:24: (ESV) Before they call I will answer; while they are yet speaking I will hear. How do you ask? Examine your WHY James 4:2-3 You are jealous and covet [what others have] and your desires go unfulfilled; [so] you become murderers. [To hate is to murder as far as your hearts are concerned.] You burn with envy and anger and are not able to obtain [the gratification, the contentment, and the happiness that you seek], so you fight and war. You do not have, because you do not ask.[Or] you do ask [God for them] and yet fail to receive, because you ask with wrong purpose and evil, selfish motives. Your intention is [when you get what you desire] to spend it in sensual pleasures.   James Allen in As a Man Thinketh said you can not travel within and stand still without. Question your motives as to why you are asking for what you desire. Is it your want or another persons want for you?   3. Believe: To have a firm conviction as to the goodness, efficacy, or ability of something What & in Whom do you believe? Everyone believes something! Even the one who thinks s/he doesn't still does. Quote of the day: “There’s a redemptive power that making a choice has rather than feeling like you’re an effect to all the things that are happening. Make a choice. Just decide what it’s gonna be, who you’re gonna be, how you are going to do it. Just decide. And from that point, the universe will get out of your way.” Will Smith   THE DREAMERS ARE THE BUILDERS “Dream lofty dreams, and as you dream, so you shall become. Your VISION is the promise of what you shall one day BE; your IDEAL is the prophecy of what you shall at last UNVEIL. The greatest achievement was at first, and for a time, a dream. The oak sleeps in the acorn; the bird waits in the egg; and in the highest vision of the soul, a waking angel stirs. Dreams are the seedlings of realities. Your circumstances may be uncongenial, but they shall not long remain so, if you but perceive an ideal and strive to reach it. You cannot travel WITHIN, and stand still WITHOUT."James Allen, As A Man Thinketh   Your Hearts Desires What you want. We are still working on the Science and Art of getting what you WANT NOT what you NEED.  One of the reasons I love the UK is that there are provisions to help you with what you NEED and a legal system that allows one to pursue what they want.  On refection, did you set a goal based on your needs or wants? Sometimes what you want is also what’s needed. The desires of our hearts are based on wants. Every comfort you are living in today was as a result of wants. Let us not be stagnated by those who tell us to be satisfied with your needs being met,. If this was sufficient, inventions like the phone, cars and planes would never have manifested for us to enjoy; it is the Fathers' desire to give you the kingdom. Phil 4:6: Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; With this in mind, let us look at the LAWS that govern how we create our realities. I will outline the laws and we will explore each of them in little detail over the next few weeks. This way you can begin to understand that the coincidences in your life have a purpose whether you know it or not. The ultimate purpose being leading you to God the Father through the Son Jesus Christ.  The Law of Vibration of Attraction: everything moves, or vibrates, nothing rests. The Law of Perpetual Transmutation: explains that everything in the universe is the manifestation of energy in various levels of vibration. The unseen is moving into the unseen. The Law of Rhythm: that everything is moving to and fro, flowing in and out up and down, left to right etc. The Law of Relativity: all things are relative, including all laws. The Law of Polarity: everything in the universe has its opposite The Law of Cause and Effect/ karmic law or sowing & reaping: whatever you send into the Universe comes back.  The Law of Gender: everything in nature is both male and female. This is the law of procreation. Today I will talk about how we exist in three levels of awareness (Spirit/Soul/Body) and the relationship between the The Spiritual Plane of Inspired Thoughts (Highest Potential)  Desire or Fear (vibrations) Thoughts Imagination It’s vitally important to remember the words of one of the wisest kings who manifested supernatural realities like no other in his time. King Solomon said ‘guard your heart with all diligence for out of it flows the issues of life’ prov. 4:23. The BEST way to guard your heart is to give it to a MASTER Protector. One who’s ULTIMATE DESIRE is to keep you safe - Jesus Christ the MESSIAH all other so called masters, prophets and even gurus are still dead and the ones who are live are heading there, DECIDE! (click here to watch the case for Christ on Amazon) Remember the law of perpetual transmutation that states that Spirit/Energy is forever moving from the unseen to the seen - or from spirit to form. This is the nature of consciousness. We are spiritual beings first and manifest in the physica

#6 Stepping into your Future_The Art of Goal Setting & Achieving Series
Quote of the day: “The greatest glory in living lies not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.” \ – Nelson Mandela You have chosen your goal, it’s time start working towards what you want. We have built the foundation (mental Faculties) and we will start building upon it. Let us step into the manifestation process of your desired good. The speed will be based on your intensity of application of both the mental and physical actions.  Influencing your Thoughts: According to scientists, the average person has between 18,000 - 50,000 thoughts a day!! Depending in your ‘default setting’/ personality or temperament, some of this thoughts will enter your unconscious mind without any resistance or evaluation i.e they will by-pass your ‘gate keeper’ or conscious mind without your knowledge.  How do you protect your mind from the mental assault?  Since you can not monitor all the incoming thoughts, you need an effective strategy. Interrupting your internal dialogue is one of the most effective way. The battle for your life is not physical but spiritual/vibrational in nature. Considering that the brain is a switching station and pick up information from our surrounding, you can redirect the energy flow by changing the running script. Speak - Your words curry vibrational power. When released, they influence the environment which returns to you what you sent 2 Cor 10:3-5 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. 4 For  the weapons of our warfare are not [a]carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, 5 casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ,   Chose your thoughts carefully, if repeated frequently, they have power to change your destiny. “Thoughts are language of the brain, feelings are the language of the body.” Dr. J Dispenza.   Understanding your Feelings -  This is the language of the subconscious mind. They make us feel + towards or - from. What kind of feelings do you experience when you imagine your goal? If you have set a good goal that will stretch your capacity both mentally and physically, you will generate foreign uncomfortable feelings. This is followed by associating the feelings with either positive or negative past experiences. Positive and negative emotion help orient you as you work toward achieving your goals. Your mind acts as a series of maps that specify a journey. These maps help you perceive goals and aims, understand where you are, and calculate a path forward. Positive and negative emotion function to help you understand your location relative to your goals and to motivate you toward or away from them.    We perceive those emotions as a measure of how effective and valid the map is. We calibrate our emotions, both positive and negative, based on the emotions of those around us. The more you make progress towards your goal, you will increase positive feeling within yourself.   Prov 15:13 -  A joyful heart makes a cheerful countenance, but sorrow of the  heart crushes the spirit.   By moving towards the new set goal, you will experience strange feelings in your body. This will come as a warning sign that you are moving away from the norm. It’s a sign of growth. You subconscious is telling you that you are entering new territory and you should be ware of risks. This is the place we either move back to safety or forward into growth. Your feelings need to be updated in line with the emotions needed for the new destination. This will happen via your imagination. Since the mind doesn’t know reality from imagined ‘fiction’, we use our imagination faculty to produce the images and feelings of the new future. Your nervous system will log the new sensations in your body which will make it easier for you to repeat the imagined action in real life.

Quote of the day: “You have all the reason in the world to achieve your grandest dreams. Imagination plus innovation equals realisation.” Denis Waitley Memory Def: The ability of an organism to record information about things or events with the facility of recalling them later at will. Memory is the faculty by which the brain encodes, stores, and retrieves information. It is a record of experience that guides future action. Rehearsal: Repetition of an item in short-term memory in order to store it in long-term memory. Generally without repetition, memory is hardly formed! Although I am still learning this information, I can testify that memory can indeed be improved through ridiculous associations.    Joshua 1:8 - This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.   Repetition is the mother of learning. By affirmatively declaring what you desire to see in your life, you will behold sooner or later.    How can you develop your memory? There are many ways you can develop memory, some simple and others very long and complicated. One of the best way is to find a tested and proven technique and use it to your advantage. Among the various ways I've come across, Ron White's training made sense and is easy to apply. You can check out his training course here: GreatestMemoryCourse   If you prefer to do some more reading in this area, this article by VeryWell Mind is very helpful.   Perception Perception refers to the way sensory information is organised, interpreted, and consciously experienced. Perceptions are built from sensory input, how we interpret those sensations is influenced by our available knowledge, our experiences, and our thoughts   Num 13:33  There we saw the [h]giants (the descendants of Anak came from the giants); and we were like[i] grasshoppers in our own sight, and so we were in their sight.” Num 14:9  Only do not rebel against the Lord, nor fear the people of the land, for they[c] are our bread; their protection has departed from them, and the Lord is with us. Do not fear them.”   How do you perceive yourself?  What is your perception about 2021? Who are you allowing to shape how you perceive yourself? Will the goals you have set for yourself help you discover more of who you can become or will they be a repetition of previous results?   “Be thankful for what you have; you'll end up having more. If you concentrate on what you don't have, you will never, ever have enough”― Oprah Winfrey

#3. The Art of Goal Setting & Achieving Series_Mental Faculties_the Will
“I never came upon any of my discoveries through the process of reasoning or rational thinking. New ideas come suddenly and in a rather intuitive way. But intuition is nothing but the outcome of earlier intellectual experience.”  Albert Einstein.   Mental Systems or Faculties.  What are they, where are they located and how can we use them to program ourselves for success.   Where are they? Mental faculties reside in our conscious mind and they are responsible for the programming of the unconscious mind.   What are they? They are divided into two; one set receives information from the outside world (five senses) while the second set deals from the inside out (intellectual factors). Part 1: your five senses - sight, taste, touch, hearing, smell. This part of you is meant to relate to and gets information from the outside world or your external environment. The information is fed to your intellectual faculties for processing. Take taste for example - while we can simply say that we know the use of this sense, why do we not eat healthy food? Why do we crave things like junk foods? The sense has been programmed to desire certain types of tastes…  How about sight - why do you think children are able to play with each other without seeing colour only to grow up to become racists?    Part 2: Unlike the 5 well known senses, the intellectual factors deal from the inside out… Will, Memory, Perception, Intuition, Imagination, Reason. If you are anything like me, you probably believe that you have a bad memory or you may have heard people say I am have no imagination commonly referred as I am not creative..🧐   “You are today where your thoughts have brought you; you will be tomorrow where your thoughts take you.”  James Allen 1. Will or Volition: Def:  It is your conscious power of choice. It’s also referred to with words like accord, autonomy, choice, free will and self-determination. It is the power behind the why… Willpower is the ability to resist short-term distractions and temptations in order to meet long-term goals. It is a mental muscle that can be improved and strengthened.  Have you ever heard of the marshmallow test? Scholars tested children’s strength to resist instant against delayed gratification. The results indicated that these who have the capacity to resist instant gratification in preference of a better reward in the future ended up succeeding even in later life. The marshmallow test turned out to be one of the best tests of the will. How would do you perform in the ‘instant gratification’ test? Are you the YOLO type of person or do you save for a better deal?  Your success in any part of life depends on how well you’ve developed your willpower. However, the will can be exhausted… This is documented in a parable in Luke 18: 1- 8, where the Master Jesus taught about the importune widow who exhausted the patience of the ruthless judge. Studies suggest that willpower fails due to exposure to an emotionally charged stimulus that overrides one’s rational, cognitive system, leading to impulsive actions. You are more likely to fall into temptation when you are tired, hungry, fearful, worried anxious etc.  Willpower experts have observed that repeatedly resisting temptation drains your ability to withstand future enticements. Could this be the reason why Satan came to test Jesus after fasting for 40 days and later in the garden of Gethsemane? 2. Reason.              Def: to think or argue in a logical manner; to form conclusions, judgments, or inferences from                         facts or premises. Reason is the centre of your thinking. It is here that  we evaluate facts, fiction and fantasies. Where fiction is turned into fact and fantasy into science and goals into results. One of my favourite teachers says ‘dream big dreams, build beautiful and magnificent castles in the air than get busy building foundations to support them’. I have followed his advise and I can tell you that this is good advise. Think

#1. The Art of Goal Setting & Achieving Series
Now that we have made it to 2021, what are we going to do differently to make it worth the struggles we faced, and the ones are going to face on a global, national, local and finally personal level? “If you plan on being anything less than you are capable of being, you will probably be unhappy all the days of your life.” Abraham Maslow What is a goal? a form of self-regulation adopted by humans to achieve specific aims/objectives/ results. An idea that helps you stay focused on the outcome, An idea that facilitate responses that are compatible with one’s objectives. A mental idea, or cognitive representations, based in the mind. a mental image of a future possibility that influences present attitudes and behaviour. Primarily, there are two types of goals: approach-focused – move you towards a positive result avoidance-focused – moves you away from a negative result E.g. take a financial goal, an away goal may be – to spend less than I earn – avoid debt; whereas towards one may be to improve my cashflow, budgeting skills and save some £££. The idea here is that one person is avoiding pain and the other is moving towards pleasure. We are trained/conditioned to avoid pain which is the more powerful motivator than pleasure. A good goal then should motivate you to work towards pleasure while avoiding pain at the same time. The mindset makes the difference. What is the purpose of a goal? A proper set goal should provide you with the incentive/motivation to grow. By growth I mean that the goal should motivate you to acquire new skills, make new contacts and increase your capacity as an individual and discover more of who you are and are capable of. NB: your goal should NEVER be to beat any other person other than to grow beyond your current limitation. The ultimate purpose of a goal is GROWTH towards the unlimited nature within you – towards God in whose image we are created. I love what the World Heavyweight Boxer from UK, Anthony Joshua [AJ] says when he is trapped by the media reporters when asked if he thinks he will beat an opponent… his response is “I am not in competition with anyone else other than myself” [watch the video at the bottom] To BE better than I was/am, so I can DO more than I am doing/did; consequently, I will GET/Have more than before so I can GIVE more than ever before. The purpose of a goal is to help us develop more awareness with the Infinite power within us. The DEVINE has given us laws of expression or creation and by applying the laws, we automatically improve our results. To get the awareness we need demands that we replace our old ways of thinking, feeling and doing otherwise known as conditioning (genetic + environmental). Conditioning or our habitual nature is fixed in the sub-conscious/ unconscious mind over time. These fixed multitude of ideas are responsible for our how we think, feel and act and consequently the unwanted/negative results we get in every area of our lives. source: https://bitly.com/35bpmTYYou and I are made out of supernatural stuff… we are more than conquerors by faith!!   “You will be what you “will” to be;Let failure find its false contentIn that poor word, “environment”,But spirit scorns it, and is free. It masters time, it conquers space; It cowers that boastful trickster, Chance,And bids the tyrant CircumstanceTo uncrown, and fill a servant’s place. The human will, that force unseen,The offspring of a deathless Soul,Can hew a way to any goal,Though walls of granite intervene. Be not impatient in delayBut wait as one who understands; When spirit rises and commandsThen God is ready to obey.” ― James Allen   Let me help you reshape your life one conversation at a time… together we can.   TAGS:#2021#believe#entrepreneur#follow#goals#happiness#inspiration#inspire#instagram#lifestyle#love#loveyourself#mindset#Motivation#motivational#motivationalquotes#positivevibes#positivity#quotes#selflovesuccess

#iv. A Call to be Courageous, demystify fear & follow your God given dream…
Quote of the day: " Inaction breeds doubt and fear. Action breeds confidence and courage. If you want to conquer fear, do not sit home and think about it. Go out and get busy.” Dale Carnegie Ego-death — the fear of humiliation, shame, or any other mechanism of profound self-disapproval that threatens the loss of integrity of the self; the fear of the shattering or disintegration of one's constructed sense of lovability, capability, and worthiness ((Albrecht, 2007)). This is not a definitive definition, but we can gain some understanding of the nature of the psychological nature of ego death. To illustrate, imagine being ridiculed in public and everyone in the crowd knows you… the fear that grips an individual the moment they realise they are about to face public failure, ridicule and humiliation. Although the fear is imaginary, the reality of the ‘event’ makes the manifestation of the fear real. FREEZE is normally the response that come with it. Has the bible given examples of this? In John 16, Jesus tells his followers that He is about to be experience ultimate death (ego+bodily) by humiliation in public than hang naked on a tree to die after which they will be hunted like criminals (ego-death)… BUT vs 33 he gives them the keys to the new life… He has overcome the world… Ego-death, though a psychological experience, can have everlasting consequences. Chose the death that guarantees everlasting life, choose Jesus to guide you through life…   For every FEAR we share, God has given us a HIS IMMUTABLE Name we can use to overcome negative consequences. Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.(Rom 10:13) Fear of Extinction -  YHWH El Olam Fear of Mutilation  -  YHWH – Rapha Fear of Loss of Autonomy -   YHWH Haggo’el – God the redeemer!! Fear of Separation – YHWH El-Shaddai Fear of Ego-Death – The Life Giving Spirit I hope this series has been helpful to you and prepared you to take on 2021 by the horns…   For me, this series has been a blessing and especially when I was down with COVID-19… both me and my wife fell ill at the same time… but when fear came calling, I responded by faith that I will live to tell of the goodness of God in the land of the living.   How has 2020 challenged you?
