Featuring voices from around the globe, we explore how factory farming, wildlife exploitation, and habitat loss directly affect individual animals, while also examining the science behind their emotions. Contributors share how learning about animal sentience has transformed their lives, businesses, and practices, highlighting what still needs to be done to end cruelty and suffering on a global scale. This season empowers listeners with the knowledge and tools to take meaningful action in their daily lives.
Animals Are Calling challenges listeners to not only understand the suffering animals face but to become part of the solution. By shedding light on the systems of cruelty and the science of sentience, we offer a roadmap for ending animal suffering once and for all. Together, we can change the way the world works to protect animals and the planet we all share.

多聽故事可以豐富孩子的想像力。 故事中的環境描寫最具特色，隨著故事情節的變化，高山、樹林、小溪等空間變化頻繁，不同的環境在孩子的大腦中形成不同的畫面，把自身融入故事情節中，去感悟、 去體會，在潛移默化中豐富孩子的想像力。 可以說，故事是培養孩子想像力的最佳材料。 多聽故事可以提高孩子的興趣。 讓寶寶主動參與一件事情，往往比被動參與來得有更高。 讓寶寶成為故事的編撰者、演講者，只有寶寶知道故事情節的發展變化、只有寶寶能掌控主角的喜怒哀樂，這常常讓寶寶興致勃勃，意猶未盡。
多聽故事可以培養孩子的情緒智商。 情緒智商是成功人才的基礎條件，是人生決勝的關鍵，在幼兒成長中許多童話故事具有明顯的培養孩子情緒智商的作用。 如《賣火柴的小女孩》，讓孩子有同情心，珍惜美好生活；《皇帝的新裝》則告訴孩子們要相信自己，做誠實的孩子。 在童話故事中，孩子們能學到好與壞、真與假、善與惡、同情與反感等，可以培養孩子的道德判斷力與價值觀，可以豐富孩子的情感，開啟智慧的大門。
