In this reflective and deeply human episode of Healed and Chilled, Coach Yana, The Children’s Confidence Coach, sits down with Daryl Dittmer for a conversation about crossroads, recovery, and the quiet power of choosing to live differently.
After a humble and often tumultuous beginning, Daryl found himself at a defining crossroads at just nineteen years old. Facing addiction and uncertainty, he made the decision to take responsibility for his life and begin the long, intentional journey of healing and growth. Through perseverance, self-awareness, and commitment, Daryl not only recovered from multiple addictions but also rebuilt a life rooted in clarity, purpose, and service.
Today, Daryl shares his story through his writing, his daily interactions, and the way he chooses to show up in the world. In this episode, he and Coach Yana explore what recovery really looks like beyond sobriety — including identity shifts, mindset changes, personal accountability, and learning to live with intention.
Now living in the mountains of North Georgia with his wife Kristina and their two labs, Dexter and Joker, Daryl spends his days writing, hiking, reading, and continuing his commitment to growth. His story is a powerful reminder that no matter where you start, it’s always possible to choose a new path.

In this deeply moving and hope-filled episode of Healed and Chilled, Coach Yana, The Children’s Confidence Coach, sits down with Debbie Weiss — best-selling author, speaker, and host of the Maybe I Can podcast — for a conversation about resilience, reinvention, and learning to believe in yourself again.
For years, Debbie lived with a victim mindset shaped by weight struggles, infertility, decades of caregiving, and eventually widowhood. Like many women, she quietly believed her circumstances defined what was possible for her life. Until one powerful realization changed everything: the circumstances weren’t the problem — the mindset was.
That awakening became the foundation for her memoir, “On Second Thought… Maybe I Can!”, a story that not only transformed her own life but also led to a national appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show. Today, Debbie helps women take small, brave steps toward big change through her coaching, speaking, podcast, and her signature Sprinkle Effect™ method.
Coach Yana and Debbie shared a genuine, uplifting conversation filled with honesty, humor, and compassion — especially for women who have spent years putting everyone else first and are now ready to reconnect with themselves.
This episode is a powerful reminder that no matter what you’ve been through, it’s never too late to rewrite your story.

In this bold and energizing episode of Healed and Chilled, Coach Yana, The Children’s Confidence Coach, sits down with Tina Coleman, the fearless voice behind the upcoming book 50 Fabulous and Fuckable, for a powerful conversation about reinvention, confidence, and stepping fully into midlife without apology.
After more than two decades as a licensed massage therapist, Tina’s career was abruptly cut short by a car accident. Instead of allowing that moment to define her future, she chose to reinvent herself from the ground up. What began with solo travel became a catalyst for freedom, courage, and self-trust — ultimately leading her to move abroad and design a life rooted in intention, adventure, and personal power.
Tina speaks openly about the realities many GenX women face: burnout, shifting hormones, feeling invisible in a youth-obsessed culture, and carrying outdated narratives that no longer fit. Through humor, honesty, and lived experience, she flips the script — reframing midlife as a time of abundance, boldness, and renewed self-worth.
In this heartfelt and empowering conversation, Coach Yana and Tina explore what it means to release exhaustion, reclaim confidence, and redefine success on your own terms. Tina shares practical insights and mindset shifts that help women reconnect with themselves, own their worth, and believe that it’s never too late to create a life that feels exciting, aligned, and deeply fulfilling.
This episode is an invitation to every woman who’s ready to stop shrinking, start living boldly, and embrace midlife as the most fabulous beginning yet.

In this thoughtful and empowering episode of Healed and Chilled, Coach Yana, The Children’s Confidence Coach, sits down with Rachel Spekman, founder of Made for More Coaching, to explore what happens when high-performing professionals realize that success no longer feels good.
After 15 years in brand marketing, 10 years supporting startup founders, and 5 years working as a therapist, Rachel noticed a powerful pattern: ambitious, capable professionals often feel stuck in high-paying careers that drain their energy, disconnect them from themselves, and quietly erode their well-being. They aren’t lacking talent or drive — they’re lacking alignment.
Rachel shares how traditional paths like therapy, recruiting, or surface-level career coaching often fall short, and why true career fulfillment requires both emotional intelligence and strategic positioning. She explains how professionals can reverse-engineer their next move — whether that’s expanding within their current organization, pivoting industries, or stepping into fractional or flexible roles — without sacrificing income, identity, or momentum.
This conversation was grounded, validating, and deeply refreshing. Coach Yana and Rachel had a genuinely meaningful exchange about burnout, clarity, confidence, and what it really takes to build a career that supports the life you want — not one you need to recover from.

In this episode of Healed & Chilled, Coach Yana, The Children’s Confidence Coach, breaks down why telling kids to “just try your best” can actually set them up for frustration and confusion. While effort is important, true growth comes from consistency, resilience, and understanding that results don’t happen overnight.
We’ll explore how to help children:
Recognize the value of incremental progress
Build long-term thinking skills instead of craving instant gratification
Cope with challenges without feeling defeated
Develop confidence that grows through practice, patience, and persistence
This conversation is about shifting the way we guide children—not dismissing their struggles, but equipping them with tools to push forward, again and again, toward success.

Today’s episode features a fascinating conversation with Dr. Edward Feinberg, a dentist with an extraordinary background in full mouth reconstruction and restorative dentistry. Unlike most professionals trained in today’s dental schools, Dr. Feinberg was mentored by a pioneer of crown and bridge dentistry and carries forward more than 70 years of documentation — including over 100,000 case photos and decades of follow-up X-Rays that prove what truly works for long-term patient care.
In this discussion, Dr. Feinberg shares:
✅ Why modern dental training has veered away from the profession’s roots
✅ How technology often violates proven scientific principles — and what that means for patients
✅ Why longevity, not just esthetics, must be the gold standard for dental success
✅ Real stories of “miracle cases” where teeth thought unsalvageable were restored and saved
✅ How his father’s pioneering work continues to shape dentistry today
Dr. Feinberg is on a mission to re-educate both dental professionals and the public on the real scoop about crowns, bridges, implants, and saving teeth — showing that extraction is not always the only option.
📖 His newly published book dives deeper into these insights and the history of dentistry’s lost principles.

In this inspiring conversation, I had the privilege of sitting down with Colin C. Thompson — entrepreneur, business owner, father, husband, author, TEDx speaker, and certified coach. Colin helps people navigate life’s chaos by turning the mind into their greatest ally instead of their biggest obstacle.
Together, we explore how to:
✅ Strengthen the brain’s ability to stay focused and calm
✅ Quiet the inner saboteurs that fuel stress and self-doubt
✅ Build habits that actually last (instead of chasing hype that fades)
✅ Reignite imagination as a tool for resilience and growth
And this episode was extra special — I got to participate in a live activity guided by Colin, giving me (and you as the listener!) a real taste of what it feels like to move from stress to clarity in just minutes.
Colin’s grounded, science-backed approach helps people tackle challenges like burnout, career transitions, and leadership pressure while cultivating emotional resilience. In this heartfelt solo episode of Healed and Chilled, Coach Yana addresses a common comment she hears from parents, grandparents, and guardians: “My kids are so soft. When I was growing up, my parents were so much worse to me, and I only did a little bit of that to my kids. I don’t understand why they’re upset with me.”
Yana gently flips this perspective on its head: First of all, if your children are “softer” than you were, that’s actually proof you did a good job. You shielded and protected them from the kind of burdens you had to carry — and that’s a parenting win.
But here’s the hard truth: just because you didn’t mean to hurt your child’s feelings doesn’t mean you didn’t hurt them. Intent and impact aren’t the same thing. Instead of getting frustrated when they don’t accept certain behaviors, recognize the powerful truth — you’ve created an environment where they don’t have to accept mistreatment. That’s not weakness. That’s safety.
This episode is a reminder that growth in parenting is not about repeating the past — it’s about breaking cycles and making the future brighter.
