An update on my journey! I've invested in the following four educational programs:
- Amy Porterfield's List Building Society
- Dean Graziosi and Tony Robbins' Knowledge Broker Blueprint
- Stu McLaren's TRIBE
- Alison J Prince 0-$100K
I talk about where I stand with each of these, as well as where my business is now and where it seems to be going.
You are not born with talent. It is not a matter of "you have it or you don't." Talent is a choice. It must be developed. It is available to anybody.
Talent merely requires deliberate practice.
Geoff Colvin wrote in "Talent is Overrated: What Really Separates World-Class Performers from Everybody Else" that there are five elements to deliberate practice:
1. It's designed specifically to improve performance.
2. It can be repeated a lot.
3. Feedback on results is continuously available.
4. It's highly demanding mentally.
5. It isn't much fun.
And that, my friends, is great news!
This episode is all about grit:
- What it is
- How to recognize whether you have it
- How to acquire grit if you don't have it
- How your past affects your grit
- What you can do now
Enjoy!
Today's episode is all about momentum.
1. What it looks like.
2. Why momentum is sometimes difficult to gauge.
3. How to address the undercurrent of "I'm not doing enough."
4. What happens when expectations are not defined.
5. The need to keep your expectations realistic and manageable for YOU--not in comparison to anybody else. When you over-expect, you set yourself up for self-sabotage and disappointment.
6. Celebrate every win--even if it's just by taking a moment to congratulate yourself on taking that one little step today. You've made it this far--be proud of your forward movement.
