Hver dag kunne der laves en ny teori, der var værd at tænke over. Der opstår små brud og forskydninger i samtaler og skrifter og værker, som ikke altid samles op, men som rummer sandheder, der kunne få os til at se verden på en ny måde. Måske endda lave vores liv om. ”I teorien” handler om at samle disse indbrud op og lytte til det, der allerede er blevet tænkt, men som ingen endnu har hørt. Kan man være ensom uden at vide det? Er det umuligt at komme for sent? Hvor mange gange fødes vi? Vi åbner døren til de rum, sådanne spørgsmål møblerer.
”I teorien” er en serie af samtaler mellem Anders Ruby, Brian Benjamin Hansen og Henrik Jøker Bjerre, der alle er medlemmer af Institut for Vild Analyse. Samtalerne foregår i rum, der summer af tale, og undersøger hver gang en tanke eller en teori, som kan forekomme at være stukket af fra sproget.
