In this episode, I’m sharing my honest thoughts on ambition — especially for women and mothers — and why I don’t believe it has to be sacrificed in order to live slowly. I talk through the tension so many of us feel between wanting more for ourselves and wanting a grounded, present life with our families, and how I’ve learned (the hard way) that these two things don’t have to cancel each other out.
I talk about:
If you’re craving a slower pace, softer expectations, and permission to want both presence and purpose — you’re not alone, and you’re in the right place.

In this episode, I’m sitting down with my friend (and Child Development Consultant) Natasha to talk honestly about what really happens to our kids during the holidays — the overstimulation, the meltdowns, the confusion, the “acting out,” and how much of it is actually their nervous system asking for help.
We share the signs of overstimulation, how to spot them sooner, and the simple things you can do in the moment: stepping outside, finding a quiet room, lowering your body to their level, using sensory tools, or having a small “calm kit” ready to go.
We also talk about setting boundaries with family ahead of time, creating safety people, how to open gifts in a way that doesn’t overwhelm kids, and how long it actually takes them to recover after a big event.
And for moms — we get into the in-between moments too: how to recharge, let go of the pressure to make everything magical, and build small traditions that feel meaningful instead of chaotic.
This conversation is warm, practical, and full of permission to make the holidays gentler for both you and your kids.

In this episode, I sit down with my friend Natasha — child development consultant, play specialist, and fellow “bedroom kid” turned “living room mom.” We talk about how the spaces we grew up in shaped us, how our kids play today, and why creating a calm, connected living room matters so much more than creating a Pinterest-perfect one. This conversation is cozy, honest, and full of those “ohhh…that makes sense” moments that make parenting feel a little less lonely.
I talk with Natasha about:
If you’re craving a slower pace, softer expectations, and a reminder that you’re not alone in figuring this all out, you’re in the right place.

In this episode, I’m sharing a real moment from my own slow living journey — the part we don’t usually see online. Even though I teach and live slow motherhood, I found myself slipping back into old patterns of overworking, pushing through exhaustion, and telling myself “just one more task.” I want to be honest about that. Slow living isn’t about being perfect — it’s about noticing when we’ve drifted, and gently bringing ourselves back.
I talk about:
If you’re craving a slower pace, softer expectations, and a reminder that you’re not alone in figuring this all out — you’re in the right place.

In this episode, I’m reflecting on something that feels tender and universal: asking for what we need. After attending a local women-in-business conference, I was reminded of how quick we are to give support — and how slow we are to ask for it. I share what came up for me in that room full of women, and how it’s reshaping the way I think about mothering, community, and building a life that actually feels supported.
I talk about:
If you’re craving a slower pace, softer expectations, and a reminder that you’re not alone in figuring this all out — you’re in the right place.

In this episode, I fold laundry and share real thoughts about overconsumption, home décor pressure, and learning to love what we already have. From my orange kitchen cabinets to my grandmother’s well-loved furniture, this is a reflection on slowing down, spending less, and finding peace in imperfection.
**PS: Sorry for the bad audio. I think I have learned that this mic only works well when im holding it and sitting still!

In this episode, I sit down with my friend Nat for a real conversation about motherhood — the pressure to do it all, the guilt, and what it means to slow down and find balance again.
We talk about being stay-at-home moms and working moms, ADHD and executive functioning, the importance of play, and how hard it can be to ask for help or build a “village.”
It’s an honest, late-night chat — full of laughter, tangents, and truth — about letting go of perfection and choosing what really matters in motherhood.

In this episode, I talk about something that’s been on my mind for a while — the “slow motherhood” aesthetic.
You know the one: the beige tones, sourdough starters, prairie dresses, perfect light, calm toddlers, and clean kitchens. It’s beautiful, sure. But I’ve realized that’s not what slow motherhood really is — and it’s definitely not what drew me to this way of living.
I share how my own version of slow motherhood looks nothing like the photos I see online — and that’s okay. For me, slow motherhood is about living in alignment with my values, not an aesthetic. It’s about choosing rest over perfection, connection over productivity, and presence over pressure.
In this voice note, I open up about:
If you’ve ever felt like you’re failing at “slow living” because your life doesn’t look like an aesthetic Instagram feed — I hope this episode feels like permission to do it your way.

In this first episode, I share why I finally started this podcast after a over a year of YouTube, blogging, and trying to keep up with what the “online gurus” say we should do. This space is my antidote to all that.
I talk about:
If you’re craving a slower pace, softer expectations, and a reminder that you’re not alone in figuring this all out — you’re in the right place.
