Early puberty is everywhere on social media right now, and honestly? It’s got me a little riled up. A lot of what’s being shared is confusing at best, and fear-based, shaming, or flat-out inaccurate at worst. And moms are left trying to sort through it all while wondering what it means for THEIR daughter.
In this milestone Episode 50 of the Empowered Puberty for Girl Moms (!!!), I’m finally diving into a topic I’ve avoided for a long time. Not because it isn’t important, but because it deserves far more nuance, clarity, and sensitivity than a 10-second reel or a swipeable post can offer.
If you’ve found yourself wondering:
• Is puberty really starting earlier for girls?
• What does “early puberty” actually mean?
• Should I be worried about my daughter?
• Is there something I should (or shouldn’t) be doing?
This episode is for you.
I’m coming into this conversation with some spice and some hard truth, but also with honesty, love, and deep compassion for moms who are doing the best they can with the information they’ve been given.
---> This episode is meant to bring clarity where social media has brought chaos...without fear, without shame, and without oversimplifying something that is deeply complex.
✨ Here’s the Power in Today’s Episode:
• What “early puberty” actually means, and why the term is often misused
• The difference between early puberty and precocious puberty
• How social media amplifies fear, shasme, and misinformation around puberty
• What research really shows about puberty timing, menarche, and duration
• The biggest drivers of earlier puberty today (without panic or blame)
• What moms can realistically influence AND what we need to release
• Why there is no pause button once puberty starts
• How education, communication, and connection are your greatest tools for supporting your daughter
• Why normalizing the puberty journey builds confidence instead of fear
• How to keep puberty conversations open, ongoing, and age-appropriate
You can do everything “right” and still have a daughter who starts puberty earlier than you expected. That doesn’t mean you failed. It doesn’t mean her body is broken. Awareness is empowering and perfection is not required.
If you’re navigating or curious about early puberty and want to feel informed, grounded, and empowered instead of afraid or ashamed, this episode is for you.

If you’re anything like me, you love goals…but you’ve also learned the hard way that goals don’t magically happen just because we write them down. (Dangit)
The real change... the lasting, sustainable, life-giving change... comes from the ACTIONS we build throughout the entire year.
In today’s episode, I’m walking you through the exact process I use to prepare for a new year as a busy mom who does not have hours to sit with a planner and dreamy music in the background. This is simple, prayerful, intentional, and totally doable even if you’re juggling kids, work, laundry, and the million other things December throws at you.
I’ll also share how I choose my word of the year and why it helps me stay intentional throughout the year ahead.
This is your invitation to walk into 2026 with intention instead of pressure, and alignment instead of overwhelm.
⸻
✨ Here’s the power in today’s episode:
• Why “goals” alone don’t work and what actually moves the needle in a busy mom’s life
• The simple categories I use to evaluate my year (and how yours can look totally different)
• Two questions that create instant clarity for the year ahead
• A real-life example from my own goals that shows how to reverse-engineer meaningful change
• How to create action steps that really happen
• The five steps I use to choose my word of the year
• The way intention shifts your rhythms, your motherhood, and your spiritual life
• Why this entire process can be done in 30–60 minutes and can even be broken up into smaller chunks of time (#MomLife)
⸻
Listen in if you want a realistic, prayerful, and practical way to move into the new year with intention, alignment, and rhythms that actually fit your real mom life.

Do you ever wonder who and what is really shaping your daughter’s confidence, character, and faith every day? In this episode, we break down the role models and influencers that impact her life. And yes, we're talking about social media and celebrities, but also her friend group, teachers, and church family. We talk about how you, as her mom, can guide her in navigating these influences with awareness and intention.
We start with ourselves as moms, reflecting on our own influences, from our friends and podcasts to the books we read, shows we watch, and music we listen to. Because the examples we set ripple into our daughters’ lives.
Then we dive into our daughters’ world. We explore how to evaluate her friend group, the media she consumes, and the everyday voices that are shaping her identity, confidence, and internal dialogue. We talk about why it’s important to truly know her friends’ character, not just assume they’re “good influences” because of where they go to school or church.
Finally, we discuss how to turn these reflections into everyday conversations (that don't feel preachy or like another "mom lecture") so that your daughter feels empowered asking these questions for herself.
Here’s the power in today’s episode:
• How your daughter is influenced every single day, and why awareness matters
• How reflecting on your own influences helps you guide her intentionally
• What to notice when evaluating her friend groups, media choices, and everyday role models
• How to weave intentional conversations about influence into daily life — without being controlling
• How asking the right reflective questions builds awareness and self-reflection
This episode is packed with practical strategies for moms who want to raise confident, discerning girls who can navigate the world of influences with intentionality and empowerment.
Listen in to feel empowered to take charge of who and what influences your girl. Because your intention makes all the difference.

Have you ever found yourself in that tricky spot as a mom, wondering how to guide your daughter through decisions about her health- especially when it comes to birth control? It can feel overwhelming, confusing, and sometimes even a little scary. In today’s episode, I sit down with Tianna Trinidad to dive deep into how moms and daughters can approach birth control with confidence, curiosity, and empowerment.
We talk about the real challenges in the current medical system, why birth control is so often the default recommendation, and how moms can help their daughters develop body literacy and make informed choices that honor both their health and intuition. Whether your daughter is approaching puberty, already navigating her first periods, or you just want to feel prepared for those conversations ahead, this episode is packed with insight, perspective, and encouragement.
⸻
Here’s the power in today’s episode:
• Understand the systemic reasons why birth control is often prescribed first, and why it might not always be the best option.
• Learn how body literacy can change the way girls experience their cycles - knowledge is empowerment!
• Explore alternatives to hormonal birth control and what moms need to know about supporting their daughters’ health.
• Discover ways to have honest, safe, and empowering conversations about health and consent.
• Reflect on the role of intuition and personal research in making decisions for your daughter’s body.
⸻
This episode isn’t about telling moms or daughters what to do- it’s about giving you the tools, language, and confidence to make thoughtful, informed choices together. Tianna and I unpack the myths, the risks, and the practical realities of hormonal birth control, so you can feel empowered in guiding your daughter toward a healthy and confident understanding of her body.

Remember when “dating” meant passing notes and using the family landline? Yeah... those days are gone. Today’s girls are navigating crushes, relationships, and validation in an entirely different world- one that moves at the speed of a Snapchat streak.
In this episode, I sit down with Kaase Levell, host of the podcast FR, Let’s Talk: Real Talk + Biblical Truth for Christian Teen Girls, to unpack what dating looks like for girls today and how moms can guide them through it with truth, connection, and open conversations.
Here’s the power in today’s episode:
• The biggest cultural and spiritual shifts in how girls view dating today
• How strict “no dating” rules can backfire and what to do instead
• The key to creating a safe home where honesty thrives over secrecy
• Why it’s not wrong for your daughter to have a crush (and how to talk about it Biblically)
• What to say when your daughter starts showing interest in boys
• Why girls are often chasing affection and how to redirect that longing toward God
If you’ve ever wondered how early is too early to talk about dating, or worried you’ll say the wrong thing, this conversation will give you a roadmap grounded in Scripture and connection.
This one’s real, raw, and full of wisdom for moms who want to raise daughters confident in their worth and who will be patient for the love God’s writing into their story.

“Mama, why do you wear makeup?”
That simple question from my sweet girl spiraled me into one of the most powerful realizations I’ve had as a mom raising daughters in today’s beauty-obsessed culture.
Our girls are always watching. They’re learning not just what we do- but WHY we do it. And that’s why, in this episode, I’m sharing the two key questions every mom should ask before making choices around beauty, aging, and appearance- the same ones I pray my daughters will ask for themselves someday.
Because whether it’s makeup, skincare, nails, exercise, clothes, or even Botox… our motivation matters.

💡 Here’s the power in today’s episode:
⸻
If you’ve ever wrestled with how to guide your daughter through beauty culture without swinging to extremes, this episode will ground you in truth, peace, and practical reflection.
You’ll walk away with the two most important questions to ask before you (or your daughter) buy that next serum, schedule that next appointment, or compare yourself to that influencer online.

Have you ever looked up from your phone and realized you missed a moment- a question, a laugh, eye contact- simply because a scroll pulled you away? It’s a quiet heartbreak so many moms carry. If you’ve ever wondered where your daughter is at in her puberty journey or how to talk about all the changes without making it weird or overwhelming… this quick episode is for you.
The 5 stages of puberty — also known as the Tanner Stages — can be an incredibly helpful roadmap for moms who want to guide their daughters with confidence and calm. Instead of puberty feeling like it “just appears out of nowhere,” these stages help both of you see what’s happening in her body as a normal, natural process.
👉 Here’s the power in today’s episode:
Today’s episode is intentionally short and simple — because this whole puberty thing doesn’t have to be complicated. I’ll walk you through a quick, step-by-step breakdown of how to actually use the 5 Stages of Puberty to start meaningful, positive conversations with your daughter.
You’ll learn how to:
• Use the 5 Stages of Female Puberty guide to identify which stage your daughter is in (link below- see the Free Empowered Puberty Checklist!)
• Introduce the topic in a way that feels natural (and not awkward!)
• Encourage her to observe her body with curiosity and respect
• Keep the conversation going as she grows and changes
Sometimes we over complicate this stage of parenting, but it really can be light, empowering, and even fun.
And if you’ve noticed your daughter having a totally different experience with puberty than you ever did? That’s because of YOU, mama. Your openness, your willingness and determination to make this better for her - that’s what’s helping to create an empowered generation of girls.
So grab the freebie, plan a time to sit down together, and remember: you are an empowered mom, raising an empowered girl. 💛

The world feels incredibly heavy right now. And as moms, it's tough enough to even keep it all together, let alone figure out how we model for our daughters how NOT to live in fear.
I'll be honest- I’ve legitimately considered pulling my girls from school, buying a piece of land in the middle of nowhere, and building a bunker to hide from the rest of society. 🙋♀️ Can you relate?I resisted recording this episode. I didn’t want to use Charlie Kirk’s name for clickbait or contribute even one iota to the noise that's already out there. It's causing division, heaviness, and hate and I want absolutely no part of that.
But God kept reminding me (over and over again) of the truth in John 1:5: “The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.”If you’re a mom craving true peace, encouragement, and perspective in these hard times, this episode will meet you right where you are. Together we’ll unpack REAL truth and practical reminders that help us anchor our hearts in God’s promises and model strength and peace for our girls.
The weight of the world is real, but so is God’s presence—and He’s given us everything we need to walk in peace, courage, and hope.
✨ Here’s the power in today’s episode:
📖 Scriptures referenced in this episode:
👉 Your Next Best Step: After you listen, take a few quiet minutes with God. Ask Him which reminder your heart needs most right now—and how you can reflect peace and courage to your daughter. Then come share it with me! I’ll share mine too so we can encourage each other.
✨ Remember, mama: You ARE an empowered mom raising an empowered girl—even when the world feels heavy.

HOW TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE
Is your tween starting to notice body hair — or asking when she can shave? In this episode, I share how to talk about body hair with confidence, what’s normal in puberty, and how to guide her choices without the awkwardness.
Body hair is one of those puberty topics that sneaks up on us as moms. One day our girls are carefree, and the next… they’re noticing underarm fuzz, leg stubble, or even upper lip hair — and wondering what to do about it.
If you’ve ever caught yourself asking things like:

HOW TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE
Ep. 31- My Daughter Shares About Her First Period
This week’s episode is extra special—because I have my daughter, Aria, joining me on the mic! 🎉
She’s opening up and sharing what it’s really like to start your first period—from the surprising parts, to what felt harder (or easier) than expected, to what she's learned about herself throughout this journey.
We cover everything from mood swings and period products to how moms can make the whole experience feel a little less scary and a lot more supported. And because Aria is keeping it real, there’s plenty of honesty, laughter, and wisdom that every girl mom needs to hear.
If you’ve ever wondered what your tween might actually be thinking but not saying about her cycle—this conversation will give you a peek behind the curtain. 👀
🎧 Tune in for a sweet and candid episode that will leave you smiling, encouraged, and ready to walk through this stage of puberty with even more confidence.
