Emily brings in a special co-host for this episode - her partner Jono - to share the tale of how they met and how their relationship blossomed, turning them into high school sweethearts and the dynamic duo they are today. Although Emily has told her story before, Jono gets a chance to spill the beans with his perspective of the story. Followed by wonderful insight into what Jono has thought of Millennial Notebook so far and his thoughts listening to the podcast.
Jono is not on social media, but you can get glimpses of him on Emily's Instagram stories from time-to-time:

Fear of failure is something many of us experience and is surprisingly more common than people would think. Although fear in healthy amounts can serve us well because its primary purpose is to ensure our survival, it can also be debilitating once it gets out of hand and can eventually affect our lives in more ways than we had originally imagined. Emily & Stella have had their own experiences with fearing failure, and here in this episode they talk about their experiences with it, as well as what to do in order to overcome the fear of failure.

Mental illness and disorders can be difficult to talk about, but we believe that in talking about them - especially our own stories - we may somehow be able to contribute to removing the stigma around the topic and hopefully eventually normalize it. Here in this episode, we do a deep dive into our experiences and talk about the possible issues that contributed to our struggles with mental illness. Hopefully through our stories, we can show others that anyone can be dealing with their own mental health issues, that it's not something to be ashamed about, and that you're not alone in dealing with them if you are also going though your own struggles.

Although more people are talking about this important topic, unfortunately there is still some stigma associated with it, making it very difficult for people to open up about it or get help. Here we talk about mental health struggles, figuring out when to ask for help, finding ways to be able to talk more about our experiences, and hopefully cope with them better.
