Hello hello!
Thanks for being here everyone. Truly glad to have you back to listening to another episode of Mama, You're Okay podcast. If you are new here, welcome. I love sharing my journey and experiences as a mom, and the different tools and tricks that have helped me navigate the craziness of it all.
Making vision boards was something that I didn't think I had in me to do, but now I truly love doing. In this episode, I talk about why I started, how I do it, when do I do it, the different ways to do them, and the benefits of manifestation and visualization. I am a visual person, so if I see something, I am more prone to act on it. Vision board time became my treasured time where I could sit down, relax, and just let inspiration gather around me. I hope you find a version that works for you. If you feel inspired, please share yours with me on the social media page @Mama_You're_Okay on instagram, or Mama, You're Okay Facebook page.
Thank you, again, for being here, and mamas, remember, you are okay.
Love
Ilyana
Hi everyone!
Welcome to Mama, you're okay! I am so glad to see you all back for another season of our podcast. If you are new, thank you so much for stopping by. The people who listen to my episodes are fun and lovely parents who are also tired and needing a place of reprieve and laughter to get through the day. Listen in and join me as I ramble on about things that I've gone through, have seen, and what I've learned.
Today's episode is about Holidays, 2022. Wow, the 2 months flew but dragged at the same time. November and December felt like a never ending revolving door of sickness and appointments and holiday parties. But, we survived. You can laugh with me at ridiculousness and craze of the holidays, and, too, listen to me dissect my own toxic trait of why I was perpetually sick during it all and how I learned to escape it. If you relate to this, I hope you give yourself the grace to breathe and know you did your best. We can only learn and be the best we can be.
I am sending all of the love and joy to you all as we start 2023. It's going to be a great one, I can feel it in my bones. Manifest with me: 2023 is going to bring joy, prosperity, and love to all. We will bring joy and love to all. We will bring joy and love to ourselves.
Love,
Ilyana
Hi everyone!
Wow, as I typed those words into the title, it really hits me that I have been a parent for 3 years. My son celebrated his birthday recently, and as much as it is a mark of his existence, it is also the celebration of the parents for their growth and journey into this new life. Stephen, my husband, joins me in talking about our past 3 years: what we have learned, what we have enjoyed about each stage of our lives, and also an insight to the birthday parties we threw for our son. We also have a debate halfway through the episode about whether I was right or Stephen (I know there's team Ilyana's out there!)
Needless to say, we had fun talking about our lives and how much it had changed. We love being parents, even though it is exhausting and trying sometimes. As I say in the beginning, I love being my son's mother, but being a mother can be hard. I have also learned to let go of the guilt, the guilt that I should be loving motherhood, by giving myself grace when I don't. That I am going through a hard phase right now and it too shall pass. If you are there with me, mamas, you are not alone and you are doing great!.
Much love,
Ilyana

Hello everyone!
Wow, we are super honored to have our special guest with us on today's episode. Kellie Lilly is a wonderful mother and coach. She is prominent in the social media world, where she has been open about her fitness journey and motherhood. Too, she has opened up about her life as a wife who's husband had cancer, and recently, passed away from the disease. The journey through grief has not been linear. It has been a whirlwind of ups and downs, from the moment they found out about the cancer to his passing, from finding out about their pregnancy to being a widower. Kellie has gone through the gamut of emotions in the past 7 years, but one thing she is not doing is letting her grief overtake her need to be strong for her son, whether that is mentally or physically or emotionally.
Honestly, honored doesn't begin to describe how we felt when she agreed to be on our podcast. Going through grief is one thing, but opening up the emotions to us, and completely strangers, is another. If you haven't already, please go find her on instagram @mrskellielilly or go through her linked pages here at Beacon . She is a true light and show of strength.
Please follow us on instagram @mama_youre_okay or facebook Mama, You're Okay . Look for even more exciting episode to come.
Thanks for being here with us. We are so proud of the community we are building with this podcast and we love what we do. Thank you for the support and love that we receive. If you have any new ideas for us, please feel free to message us here or on our social media page. We love hearing from you.

Welcome back everyone!
In this week's episode, we have a very special guest, Susan! She has been a great friend since we first met at church. We share our faith, love of music, and motherhood together. In our podcast, we sat down and talked about her experience with homeschooling and how it and her faith has shaped the her and her daughter's lives. We get into the inception of homeschooling for her family, what kind of curriculum she uses, and how it has evolved through the years. With her girls ages ranging from 6 to 12 yo, there has definitely been some challenges with homeschooling; but, from how our conversation went, the good outweighs the bad. And there is evidence in her daughters of how well she is doing for them by their merits, their successes, and their love for each other.
If you have experience with homeschooling, please comment below and tell us how it has impacted your lives. We would love to hear from you!
And, as always, remember mamas, you are okay.
Love,
Ilyana
Welcome back everyone!
Thanks for being here today with us on a brand new episode of Mama, you're okay. Today, we have a very special guest! Danielle "Dani" White is a long time friend of mine and is a wonderful single mama to her daughter. We talk a lot about her journey as a single parent, and how it has shaped her life the last couple of years. She also goes into talking about the perspective of motherhood and what she does to still be herself. This episode is so insightful, not only to those who are single parents, but also those who are friends and family with someone who is a single parent. Thank you Dani for being on the podcast!

Hello all!
Thanks for joining us today in our podcast. Audrey and I just came back from separate trips and we have so much to tell you. Our experiences are unique to us, but we do feel like, the more transparent we can be with what we are going through and what we do, the more things feel accessible to everyone. And traveling should be one of them. Trust me, when I say, that it's not a walk in the park, by any means, but you do find your strides and you do learn from your kids what works and doesn't work. You'll hear from Audrey about changes in her son between home and traveling and how she adapted to his needs. And same goes for me. We also put out there that, when traveling, we like to set realistic expectations of ourselves as moms and expectations for our kids. At the end of the day, we want to have a great time with our family, and we want to remember the good times. This is especially true as I prepare myself for another trip coming up in a week! We might do a follow-up episode to see how I survived. What do you all think?
I'll try to chronicle my trip to show, in real time, what worked and what didn't work. Might be asking you all for some advice in the midst of it. Follow along on the Mama, you're okay

Hello everyone!
Thank you so much for joining us today on our new episode. Audrey and I had so much share about our on going mommy anxiety and toddler anxiety moments. So much to talk about in regards to how we deal with it all. And, the thing is, we are still learning how to deal with it. It's hard being a parent, and it's hard to hear your child cry. We've all been there where you feel helpless with your child losing their mind and you feel like you are right there with them. As your babies grow, we go from one cry to another, and sometimes, it may feel like it'll never get better. We are in the midst of that ourselves. But, from what I hear, it does get better. So, for now, take comfort in knowing you are not alone. And, if you are a mama who's been through it already, do you have any advice? Please leave us a comment or go to our social media pages to share your thoughts. We are all in this together, and mamas, you are okay.
Love,
Ilyana and Audrey
Happy Father's Day to all Papa's out there.
We have a very special guest: the Papa to Ilyana's two littles, Stephen. Very grateful to have him join the podcast where we get the male perspective on taking me time, enjoying life, and being the helicopter parent (who would've thunk it)
Stephen also gives us an inside take on the best gifts to buy for Father's Day. If you are still looking for gift ideas, give one of his choices a try. Or comment in our episode what has been the best gift you have given to papas and they have enjoyed.

Hi everyone!
We made it to 10 episodes!! Woohoo. You all are awesome for following us for this long. Thank you for being part of our journey. We couldn't be more appreciative of your support and listens.
Today's episode is a good one as we talk about our feeding journeys with our babies. All the time, we are judged by how or how not to feed our babies. In our humble mom experienced, we are here to tell you "Fed is Best". That means, however you are able to feed your baby, whether it is breastfed, pumped, or formula, you are doing your best to keep your baby fed and alive. Way to go mamas!. Audrey and I have very different experiences. Our experiences are not here to dictate whether you are doing yours right or wrong; however, we hope that it can shed some light on our differences and maybe give you comfort in knowing you are not alone. Plus, if you need to know things about breast pumping, I am here for you!
We also wanted to share some links with you in regards to what we talked about in the podcast.
First, Hakka. Best. Tool. EVER. Found this on amazon. Great for when your are breastfeeding on one side and you want to catch the let down on the other side.

Second, Kellymom. This is the website my pediatrician recommended I read that has some great research based information on feeding babies and more. I got a lot of insight from this place about the amount I should be feeding and how long I should be pumping.

If you have your own experiences with feeding your baby and you want to share with us, please do so in the comments or share with us on instagram and facebook. We'd love to hear from you.

Hello everyone!
Audrey and I are so excited about this episode. We have an amazing guest speaker. You may know her from Instagram as a mom who went viral for making videos of "If I drank like my baby nurses". Brittany Miller @the.brittany.miller, is a beautiful mama of three who is an advocate for great beauty products, but also mental health awareness. She is open about her struggles with postpartum depression (PPD) and anxiety, and has garnered a large following of mamas from around the world. I personally have related to her posts, especially on the topic of medication and therapy, doing what we can to help with out struggles with mental health.
Brittany also mentioned a beautiful account on instagram called The Emily Effect @the_emily_effect. If you are suffering from any mood disorder as a result of perinatal or postnatal effects, this is a great account that leads you to helpful resources and a community of women who can lift you up through the hard times. Follow the links in their site https://linktr.ee/the_emily_effect for more helpful resources.

Have a wonderful Wednesday !
Hi everyone!
Thank you so much for being here and listening to our podcast. Today, Ilyana is solo to talk to you about all the good, bad, and ugly things mamas have been told throughout pregnancy and motherhood. Let me tell you, some of the bad and ugly comments that I received were just mind boggling. I felt so much pain for the mamas who had to endure those comments and live through the idea that people thought these negative things about them. Well, I am so sorry if you can relate to some of these comments, and I am here to remind you that, no it does not define you, and you are so much better than any negative comments people say about you.
All we are doing as mamas is our best. We are doing our best to survive, to keep another human being alive, to be a good person, and to go through life without losing ourselves. As sad as the first part of this episode is, the other half are the good comments. The good ones that make us feel better about ourselves and how we approach our parenting. All we need are words of encouragement and a little bit of love.
So, if no one has said this to you lately, let me say it to you. You are amazing. You are doing great. And you are the best thing your baby needs.
Love,
Ilyana
Welcome to our podcast!
Today I am working solo, BUT I know you will really enjoy this episode.
We have a very special guest today, Luciana Kano-Wilson. She is a dentist in Columbus, Indiana, a mother of 3 AND my oldest sister! She has been a mother figure for me my entire life as she is 9 years older than me. The things I am going through now, she has gone through it and has been willing to impart her infinite wisdom to me. As a business owner, she has juggled the working mom life as a PRO and I am so proud to be her sister.
In this episode, we touch on what it feels like to be a working mama, juggling guilt, finding our identity, and looking forward to what is ahead. There is hope, ladies, there is hope for us all. I know this one is an hour long, so if you want to break up the listening into 2 or 3 session, I totally understand. I just felt that it was too good of a conversation to take apart. I hope you feel the same.

We would love to have you share your thoughts and reactions to our video.
Thank you so much and see you next week!

Hello everyone!
Happy mother's day to you all. Thank you for joining us on this very special episode of Mama, you're okay podcast. We wanted to do a no-script, fun and chill episode where we let you all in on who we are. My students at the tech school helped me create this list of questions, ranging from motherhood, facts about us, and silly questions. These were so much fun to answer, as you will hear, and hopefully it will make you laugh as well.
We appreciate your weekly support for our podcast. We couldn't do this without you listening and spreading the word about us.
Mamas of all kinds, we want to celebrate you and your beautiful journey. Whether it is everything you've ever dreamed or an experience you never imagined going through, we wish you all the smiles, hugs, and sincerest love. We hope that this day will be a day full of love and joy for you. If it isn't, then we hope you can listen to our little show and laugh at our expense. Whichever you are, just know, you will be okay, and you are a fantastic mama.
Thank you again for joining us and HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY

Ilyana and Audrey
Hi everyone!
So glad you are here to join us. We are continuing our conversation from last week about our body image. We talked about our mindset before pregnancy and during pregnancy, and today we finish out our topic with how we are still dealing with it after birth, even a year later. We know this subject can be a sore one for many ladies as we try to fit into what society deems as an acceptable body image. We hope that we can remind you that you are not alone, and that you are beautiful however you are. Take care of yourself, the weight will come off when it can, and be healthy and happy for your baby.
If you haven't already, please join us on instagram
and facebook.
You can follow the links. We would love to hear from you, whether it is a comment on our episode, or for future talking points.
Thank you and much love,
Ilyana and Audrey
Welcome back! We took a week hiatus because it was spring break time for one of us, and well, things stack up when you have kids and it's spring break. It's really not a break for mamas, is it?
Here we have part 1 of a very hot subject for us, BODY IMAGE! Mamas, raise your hand if you have been subjected to some sort of body image comment before, during, or after your pregnancy. I believe, EVERY mama's hand is raised, and quite frankly, it's a little sad. And with full disclosure, I, Ilyana, am going through this journey with you. I still have distorted body image issues, and I am working through these thoughts. I believe that, by talking through this out loud, I may heal from this, and hopefully reach out to those who are dealing with the issue as well. And I know Audrey has so much to share with her past experiences and want to help anyone who may be going through what she went through.

Disclaimer: This episode may contain a topic that can be triggering to some who have experienced ectopic pregnancy. If this is a topic that is upsetting to you, please feel free to skip and listen to our other podcasts. The podcast is a personal account of my experience and does not consist of medical diagnosis for all. If you are having pain or bleeding during your pregnancy, please contact your OB-GYN or family physician immediately.
Hello to all and welcome!
Thank you so much for joining us again in our podcast journey. We love doing this and sharing our stories with each and every one of you.
This week's episode can be on the heavier side. This is my, Ilyana's, personal account of her experience through an ectopic pregnancy. Before experiencing it myself, I had little to no understanding of what ectopic pregnancy was. It was a rude awakening to the realities of pregnancies and the things women go through sometimes.
I hope my story doesn't scare you or instill a sense of dread to anyone, but maybe open doors of comfort in knowing that you are not alone. If you need a friend to talk things through, I am here for you. And, sometimes, all you can do is let yourself feel the hard feels and heal from it.
With much love,
Ilyana and Audrey
Welcome!
Thank you for joining us on our podcast, "Mama, You're Okay". We are so honored that you have chosen to spend the next 30 minutes or so with us.
In this episode, we lighten up the mood and talk about the wonderful world of "mommy-brain". We have been plagued by the brain for a while now, something that started during pregnancy, and has, somehow, continued through post partum. The best remedy? Laugh it off and just know that this too shall pass.
Do you have any crazy mommy-brain moments? Moments that made you go "hmm??"
We love to have you here with us and appreciate your comments and words, so please share with us your thoughts, maybe your story, or maybe a topic you want to hear in the future. We will respond to them all!
Love,
Ilyana and Audrey
