This week's G-Fit Conversation I share a mantra that is so simple… yet wildly life-changing to free the mental clutter: setting the date.
I share the real behind-the-scenes of my Monterey trip, how it started with overwhelm but the second I set the date… everything shifted. The fog cleared. The anchor dropped. And that one decision alone gave my nervous system a reset.
We talk about why wavering slows you down, why waiting for the perfect moment keeps you stuck, and how committing to a date instantly moves you out of “someday” energy and into let’s go energy.
And I get into the power of support — how having someone in your corner changes the entire experience. The flow gets easier. The vision gets clearer. The work becomes doable. When someone locks arms with you, you stop carrying everything alone.
Inside this episode, you’ll hear how this all ties back to the G-Fit lifestyle, especially as we move into a new season with new goals on the horizon. Setting the date gives you a direction. Support helps you stay the course. Together, they build the consistency and confidence that the G-Fit method is all about.
If you’ve been wavering, waiting, or feeling overwhelmed about your next move… this one is going to hit home.
Clarity starts the moment you commit. Let’s go.
Stepping into this week with clarity, calm and gratitude.
hugs, G
G-Fit Conversation: Circuits vs. Isolated Training - The G-Fit Way
In this episode, Lisa and I dive into one of the most common questions we get inside G-Fit, what’s the difference between circuit and isolated training, and how do you do each, what is the difference and more...
We break down how both styles serve a purpose and why the magic happens when you blend them the G-Fit way. Circuits build the engine, keeping your heart rate up, your body flexible, and your metabolism fired up PLUS in much less time. Isolated strength builds the structure, shaping, strengthening, and fine-tuning specific muscle groups for long-term results.
You’ll hear us talk about how to combine both for balance, longevity, and sustainable progress, without overtraining or burning out. Whether you’re team circuits, team isolation, or somewhere in between, this conversation will help you understand how to train smarter, not just harder.
👉 Want to go deeper? I break down the science and strategy behind this approach in my latest blog post:
Isolated vs. Circuit Training — The G-Fit Way
Whether you jump on the G-Fit circuit or isolated workouts, do them the universal G-Fit way- with intention and purpose.

In this episode, I sit down with longtime G-Fit member Tina Reano for a real and heartfelt conversation about life, fitness, and finding your flow. Tina opens up about her journey through different seasons, how every twist, turn, and lesson led her exactly where she was meant to be.
We talk about the power of slowing down, trusting the process, and how G-Fit has become more than just workouts for her-it’s a lifestyle, a mindset, and a daily reminder to move with intention.
If you’ve ever felt out of rhythm or unsure where you’re headed, this conversation will remind you that you’re right where you need to be.

In this G-Fit Conversation, I sit down with my long-time client and friend Danyelle to talk about what happens after the competition is over. We dive into her post-show highs and lows from the discipline and drive that got her stage-ready to the physical and emotional challenges that often follow.
Danyelle opens up about navigating gut issues, discovering her allergy to egg whites, and learning to truly listen to her body again. Together, we unpack how competing can teach us powerful lessons, but also how easy it is to fall into extremes.
I share my own perspective and coach her through finding a more balanced, sustainable approach-one that’s built on grace, enjoyment, and a new goal that feels fun rather than restrictive.
This conversation is a beautiful reminder that balance is where real growth happens, and that sometimes the hardest part isn’t the prep — it’s what comes next.
Post-competition isn’t a “failure phase” — it’s a reset phase.
Healing the gut and managing food sensitivities requires slowing down and paying attention.
Balance doesn’t mean losing drive; it means channeling it differently.
Grace > guilt: learning to love your body through every phase.
Fun and freedom can coexist with discipline when your goals align with your season of life.

Let's rock this week and remember balance is at the heart of all we do!

In this week’s G-Fit Conversation, I wanted to share about the one thing that really shifted my recovery back to normal workouts and swims from HARD to "i've got this!" There is a huge amount of mental and emotional lightness that comes when we finally release unrealistic expectations.
After my surgery, I found myself frustrated by how hard it was taking me to get back to my swims and workouts- my comeback felt so slow - until a conversation with a fellow friend shifted everything. In this episode, she shares how dropping the pressure became the key to regaining my rhythm and flow.
Tune in for a raw reminder that sometimes the fastest way forward is to stop forcing it. Whether it’s in your workouts, recovery, motherhood, or everyday life — this episode will inspire you to let go of the weight of expectation and find your flow again.
Mantra of the week: Drop the pressure. The comeback happens with flow, not force. 💫 let's step in and make it the best week ever! xo Gina
In this episode, I wanted to share the reflections of my figure career and what came from the season... I share how growth isn’t about doing more, it’s about evolving — knowing when to shift, slow down, and redefine what balance really means.
Tune in as I reflect on the things she used to do — from never taking a day off, to overtraining, to fearing sodium — and how releasing those old patterns created more peace, purpose, and results than ever before.
If you’ve ever felt stuck trying to do what “used to work,” this conversation will remind you that your body, your mindset, and your goals deserve to evolve with every season of your life.
Tune in for real talk, grounded reflection, and a gentle nudge to honor the season you’re in — not the one you’ve outgrown.
In this week’s G-Fit Conversation, I’m talking about one of the biggest lessons that keeps me moving, why we don’t stop.
After taking a few weeks off from swimming, I was quickly reminded how much harder it is to start and stop than it is to simply keep going. In the G-Fit world, we keep things simple and this is one of the simplest (yet smartest) rules of all: stay in motion. CUE the first law!
We don’t keep going because we’re obsessed.
We keep going because we’re smart.
Because momentum makes everything easier.
And in the second half of this episode, I want to remind you of something powerful, just by being YOU, you’re inspiring someone else. You may never know who’s watching, but your consistency, your energy, and your light are making an impact.
So keep going. Keep showing up. Keep being you.
Because that’s where the magic and the momentum thrive.
Let's rock this week and have the best week ever!
hugs, G
In this episode, we’re stepping into a brand-new month with a powerful reminder: less is more. So often, after a challenge or a season of momentum, the temptation is to keep stacking more and more onto our plates: more workouts, more steps, more habits, more to-dos. But when fitness becomes overwhelming, that’s when results stop.
I’m sharing why removing something from your plate is sometimes the smartest move you can make and how simplifying creates space for consistency, freedom, and results that actually last. You’ll also hear my 5 G-Fit Tips to help you protect your energy, keep fitness simple, and avoid overwhelm so you can thrive this month without burning out.
If you’ve been feeling like you’re doing all the things and still not moving forward, this episode is your reminder to breathe, reset, and audit your schedule ...
Let's dive in!
hugs, G

In this week's G-Fit Conversation, we are talking all things, getting out of your own way, yet knowing when grace is necessary. There’s a pivotal point in every journey where you have to decide: am I honoring what my body truly needs right now, or am I letting excuses hold me back?
In this week’s G-Fit Conversation, I open up about my own recovery, the excuses that feel real, and the ones that are just holding us back. Whether you’re healing, going through a tough season, or just stuck in your own head, this episode is your reminder that balance is everything. Rest has its place, but so does action, and knowing when to pivot is the secret to long-term success.
Tune in, reflect, and let’s talk about finding that sweet spot between grace and grit in your own journey.

This week on G-Fit Conversation we’re talking all things steps, our 10K-a-day challenge, how to build consistency, and why something as simple as walking can be such a game changer for fat loss, longevity, and confidence.
But I’m also getting a little more personal in this episode… I share an update from my own life that’s going to change the way I approach this challenge this month. It’s real, it’s raw, and it’s a reminder that even when we can’t be our best, we can still give our best.

This week's G-Fit Conversation, we’re talking about the power of just stepping in—without falling into the “all or nothing” trap. Cue mantra #1 in my Your Feathered Soul Mantra book. I learned the hard way when I jumped from 2,000 steps to 20,000 in one day… and trust me, my body reminded me that’s not the way we do things.
As we gear up for our big STEP-tember Challenge (10,000 steps a day!), now is the time to warm up—literally and figuratively. That means checking in with where you’re at, then committing to a personal challenge: simply do more than you’ve been doing.
This isn’t about perfection or extremes—it’s about building consistency, honoring your body, and preparing ourselves for success. So lace up, track those steps, and let’s step into this challenge together.
Are you with me? Lace up and let's get our body moving one step at a time. Get excited we are bringing back our Step-tember challenge that kicks off September 1.
big hugs,
Gina

In this week's conversation, I wanted to talk about how important it is to radically and immediately shift with the seasons and waste no time changing your routine. As the seasons change, so must you and with no time in between seasonal shifts and taking action...
It is through forced changes, you find your loves. Through discomfort you learn, grow and evolve. You may find something you LOVE through having to shift but you will never find that by staying in your comfort zone.
Leaning into finding your WHEN and trusting that a beginner's win may be different than a more advanced personality and that is OKAY. It is all about finding WHEN things align and flow for you and that is where you will find your LOVE.
Tune in and join me and let's shift with the seasons together. x
hugs,
Gina
In this week's conversation, I wanted to chat with you about what has been on my mind from the importance of taking a detour to keep your body in motion, mobile and ABLE to do all the things you get to do to my recent DEXA scan and the unexpected results. How they made me reflect and consider my plan, what I have been doing and maybe where I have been slacking...
Tune in for this real life conversation and let's make it the best week ever!
hugs,
Gina
I this week's G-Fit Conversation, we are bringing back a mantra - Find your Rhythm or could be also Find your Cadence. This has really been helping me the past few weeks and it sounds silly but hey- if dancers do it and it keeps them on track, why wouldn't it work for our every day exercise?
It is all about creating a flow in our workouts so we can stay consistent without burning out and this may help! It is a "fun" way to stay in rhythm and create your own cadence.
There’s something powerful about finding your rhythm. Whether it’s counting reps, running, or even just moving through your day, having a steady cadence makes everything feel easier and more natural. Our brains are wired for rhythm — it’s like an internal beat that keeps us focused, coordinated, and less tired. When you get into a rhythm, your body and mind work together instead of fighting each other. It’s why music pumps us up, why we move smoother, and why we stay in the flow longer. Finding your rhythm isn’t just about workouts — it’s about creating that flow in all areas of life so things feel less forced and more effortless.
Tune in for this week's conversation...
Find Your Rhythm... xo Gina
In this week's conversation, I wanted to talk about "Your Frog" and that it doesn't always have to be the thing you despise rather the thing that you LOVE but is the thing that challenges you...
You’ve probably heard the phrase “eat the frog”- Cue that mantra— do the hard thing first. But what if the thing you love is also the thing you tend to put off? In this quick G-Fit Conversation, I talk about how even the good stuff (your workouts, your business, your goals) can feel like a frog when you overthink it or wait for the perfect moment. This episode is your reminder to stop hesitating and start doing the thing that lights you up — before the day gets away from you.
No fluff. Just a mindset shift you might need today. Have the best week ever and remember, eat the frog first and everything else will be easier, promise! All things worth while, come from challenges, NOT EASY!
Have the best week ever!
hugs,
G
In this week’s G-Fit Conversation, we’re flipping the script. Because it’s not just about what workout plan you’re following, what foods you’re eating, or what goals you’ve set.
It’s about how you’re showing up.
How you’re training.
How you’re eating.
How you’re thinking.
You could be doing all the “right” things on paper — lifting weights, eating clean, checking all the boxes — and still not seeing results if the energy, intention, or execution is off.
This episode is your reminder to slow down, focus on HOW you are doing things. Fitness is a game, it is all about tetrising your life to learn how things are going to work with what you are doing...
Drop into your body, and check in with the how. Because true transformation starts with presence, effort, and consistency — not just focusing on what you are doing...
Let’s talk about the shift that makes all the difference.
Let's step into this week and focus on HOW you are doing WHAT you are doing...
Let's dive in.

Life always has a way of reminding me the importance of staying in motion, keeping your flow and not stopping. I had a few LIFE experiences that reminded me that staying in motion is key to keeping our selves not only in motion but flexible, mindful and pain free. Tune in and remember not every day you are your best but just give your BEST and that is all that matters. No matter where you are, staying in motion is our game.
Let's do this! xo Gina
In this week's conversation, we are talking about the hacks to staying motivated and disciplined beyond your immediate goal. Motivation isn't something you take and have, it is something earned through day in and day out effort. It isn't easy but it does get easier with these proven hacks...
Tune in for how to stay motivated and disciplined no matter what life brings you!
Bring on the best week ever!
